One of the best peacefull, energetic, must to visit site. Staff is very polite, friendly and helpful. They take care of your all needs. Food- a massive plus point, taste like home, feels like restaurant. You can order whatever you want any time in any quantity, all included in package. Lastly rooms are big enough to hold 5 people. And owner is constantly in touch with you and gives you excellent service and advice regarding property and attractions.

We had a lovely time. Stayed in the Sky cottage for 2 nights. This property is in a beautiful location. Tucked away from the hustle bustle of Ramnagar. Expect simple and tasty food, comfortable bed (maybe needs a bit of more cleanliness with the bed linens and pillow covers) and a beautiful skyline in the night (if the weather permits). We walked around and explored the property by walk, which was a great experience.

One of the densest zones of Corbett. Tiger sightings are difficult because the jungle is thick - but population of tigers is very high here as well. We spotted 4 tigers - in an open area of the river bed. But it was a hit or miss - they walked away quickly into the bank foliage so no other gypsies saw them. Hundred percent recommended for the beauty of the jungle even if you don't see the tigers. Plant and tree bio diversity is very high as well. Book safaris in advance for better chances of early entrance.

Evening and early morning ambience is awesome. Good place to spend time with yourself amongst the nature and feel relaxed. We even heard barking deer's call from surrounding dense forest in evening- a signal for tiger/leopard visit. Lots of birds are always playing background music

Amazing place to stay into the wild. The cottages are design to have full view of the forest. If you are lucky you can site the big cat from your room itself. Great hospitality and a very friendly staff.

If you truly want to disconnect from daily routine and "get out with friends or family", this is the place to be at. Neat and clean basic facilities. Delicious homely food. Just make sure you carry everything you need besides food and park yourself there leaving the five-star disco, DJ, swimming pool expectations behind. Chill and connect with nature in absolute tranquility with spectacular surroundings.

An absolute heaven on the earth this place is meant for solace searching hearts. Far away from the chaos of cities and the overcrowded mountain hotels, the place is absolutely serene and blissful. Welcomed with great food, great treks and hospitality, one must definitely plan a visit to Sitabani Wildlife Reserve created thoughtfully by Abhishek Ray who is a bonafide conservationist apart from being a great music and film composer and director based out of Mumbai. With the hard and heart work that he has poured in into SBR, you will be surrounded by the more than 500 species of birds, mighty magical monsoon rivers on various sides, the lush green overwhelming forests with wild cats and great starry nights just to mention a few. Definitely a must have experience! I just had mine!!

Undoubtedly, one of the best place to enjoy nature. However, it doesn't offer the value for the price paid. They charge way more they can offer. Maintaince staff "Chandan" was very cordial and helpful.

Sitabani wildlife reserve (owned by Abhishek Ray) is the ideal destination to calm down our overwhelmed senses. This summer vacation allowed us frequent wildlife sightings during safaris. Being nature lovers, we had the most refreshing time. Quality of food, cleanliness of the cottage, hospitality of the staff indicates good management. This was our 2nd trip and strangely both the times, we felt that we have to come back for another holiday.

This year on 19th June we reached Sitabni wildlife reserve where the human - nature relationship has been redefined by the green warrior Mr. Abhishek Ray . We got to know about it from a bengali sunday supplementary, "Robbar" where mr. Ray wrote about his dream and creation . We stayed at the reserve for ninety hours which appeared to us to be ninety minutes when we left the place with heavy hearts as we didn't feel at all that it was the domain of Abhishek and not ours because we got a lot there beyond our imagination , would like to enumerate a few ... 1) a lush green amphitheater of our dream ! 2) the sound of silence ! 3) the orchestration of frogs, crickets and monsoon shower over the jungle leaves 4) peacocks, frequently reminding us of thier presence 5) boundless hospitality, concern , cooperation and what not .In truest sense it appeared to us a home away from home ! 6) a rich library to quench the thirst of the habitual book readers and nature lovers 7) we witnessed two leopard - cubs playing and chasing each other near the barbed fencing and three deers grazing behind a nearby bush hiding themselves from the leopards ! And last but not the least the quality and variety of food and the etiquette of serving the plates is specially mentionable ! We should also mention that we had been escorted for jungle trek too . We don't know wheather our life span will permit us to visit again but we will be longing for that . Wish, Abhishek becomes day by day an imitable example to the nature lovers . Debiprasad Ray, Bandana Ray .

Sitabani, situated near Ramnagar in Uttarakhand, is a nature lover's paradise with a unique blend of wildlife, tranquility, and a touch of mythology. This serene forest reserve, named after Sita from the Ramayana, offers an immersive experience for those seeking a retreat into nature. One of Sitabani's notable features is its diverse flora and fauna. As a part of the Corbett landscape, the forest is home to a variety of wildlife, including elephants, deer, and a myriad of bird species. Nature enthusiasts and birdwatchers will find themselves enthralled by the rich biodiversity that thrives in this protected sanctuary. The charm of Sitabani lies not only in its natural beauty but also in its mythological significance. Legend has it that Sita, after being banished, sought refuge in these woods. The Hanuman Garhi temple within Sitabani adds a spiritual touch to the area, making it a destination for both wildlife enthusiasts and those interested in the cultural tapestry of the region. For adventure seekers, Sitabani offers jungle safaris where one can explore the wilderness and catch glimpses of the untamed beauty that calls this forest home. The rustling leaves, melodious birdcalls, and the occasional sighting of wildlife create an immersive experience that allows visitors to connect with nature on a profound level. Sitabani's proximity to the Jim Corbett National Park further enhances its appeal, providing visitors with the opportunity to extend their wildlife adventure. Whether you're drawn by the allure of untamed landscapes, intrigued by mythology, or simply seeking a peaceful escape, Sitabani in Ramnagar, Uttarakhand, unfolds as a sanctuary that embraces both the wild and the mythical, leaving an indelible mark on all who venture into its depths.

Recent video shared by actress Sadaa where the gypsy vehicle guide was taunting a tiger that was already trying to protect itself from these people. This is not the right way to handle. The tourists seem to be scared yet the guide was taunting the tiger. What if the tiger charges at them? He will be shot/hurt for sure. Please look into this issue and make sure no such thing happens. Tigers are our national animal. We should not treat them this way.

If you want to experience true peace, serenity & closeness to nature ,this is the place. You won't find people around and that's rare in today's world.I wish I could have stayed longer. We reached around 12 in the afternoon and was welcomed with such warmth.Mr Abhishek Ray (owner) of the property was sweet to invite us for the lunch with him and shared some of his experiences of living in wild and his encounter with tiger's which was equally thrilling, took us for hike in the evening I would say it was about to be sunset and the hike we took got even more memorable with sound of birds and call of leopard in the jungle which was hair raising experience , goose bumps we had. Food ,all three meals was delicious 😋 ,everyone should experience the hospitality of people from uttrakhand, the thrill of living in wild forest reserve is one of its kind and everyone should experience it once in there life time to know the essence and beauty of nature so that we all should work towards preservation of nature for coming generations.

My personal experience- I had the opportunity to stay in the Sky Cottage of Sitabani Wildlife Reserve for about 13 days. It's a dream destination for anyone who loves nature and wants a break from the city. Fresh organic local cuisine, bathing in waterfalls, evening treks, birdwatching, wildlife sightings, gypsy safari, looking at the night sky filled with stars and letting the Autumn breeze sweep away all my exhaustion and pain. Words can't really describe the magnificence of this place. I would love to come back here again and again. Suggestions for nature lovers- If you haven't been here, you are missing out something big! Prices are affordable, services are excellent. Do visit this place you will love it... (Thank me later :P)

Nature walks , variety of bird sightings, spring water dips, the rustic charm of the retreat along with alarm calls of the barking deer making us aware of tiger presence in the vicinity, all this combines to add to the allure of this place.

Place is very nice, calm, serene, close to nature. Cottage is also well equipped with all sorts of amenities. Evening and early morning ambience is awesome. Good place to spend time with yourself amongst the nature and feel relaxed. We even heard barking deer's call from surrounding dense forest in evening- a signal for tiger/leopard visit. Lots of birds are always playing background music. Food is nice. However, per pax rate is not considerate compared to everything. If rate would have been per room, even if premium due to location, more travellers would have got interest, since in 1 room, 4-5 people can easily accommodate.
