Awesome place, all Bengalis located at Chitra Ranjan Park at New Delhi... It is one of the posh areas at Delhi where majority population is Bengali and they celebrate their community and religious beliefs together... They celebrate their individual block wise Durga Puja at each and every block and this CR Park mela ground celebrates one of the biggest puja of this area... Puja, stalls, hawkers makes this place very lively...

Delhi's most popular Durga Puja pandal. It's over crowded during evening time. So you can visit on Morning time for Darshan purpose. If wanted to enjoy cultural activities need to go at evening time. Organisers are good and polite. Everyone should go once to celebrate Durga puja.

This is a big ground. People come here for exercises, jogging and spending time with friends and loved ones. Small small events also takes place. Football tournament are also played here. Durga Pooja is also organised here. Every year, thousands of devotees make a beeline to more than 10 Durga Puja Pandals in and around Delhi's Chittaranjan Park during the nine-day festival of Navratri. The most prominent and colourful pandals in the Bengali-dominated area are organised at Mela Ground Chittaranjan Park, K Block, B Block and Kali Bari Mandir. Mornings are usually calm here while evenings are buzzing with huge crowds flocking to visit Goddess Durga and artists giving performances to an ever-so excited audience. Long wait in queues does not seem tiresome for visitors as they wait throughout the year to get soaked in the revelry.

Very active, vibrant and culturally busy ground. Situated at the heart of C R Park and being surround by Bangalies this ground has something or other to offer cultural lovers. Be it Durham puja, Kali puja, exhibition , paush Mela or annual sporting activity, Mela ground always offers verify to its public. Festival or exhibition and no food.... Not possible. In any festivals there are verify of food options to satisfy your salaiva. Apart from Bengali community , Odiya and other cultural lovers also gathers to refresh themselves ...Away from the hectic Delhi lifestyle. More cleaning, beautification, water and toilet facility need to be there.

Known for being the venue of the Second oldest Durga Puja of CR Park, it is still among the largest open spaces in the locality. out of bounds for private functions, it still is the venue for one of the major Durga Pujas in the locality, and the allied sports and cultural competitions. Recently renovated with the help of the residents living arround the park, it is a favourite playground with the children and a great watering place for the adults Regards

Yeah Mela ground is a big play ground where you can see people enjoying the nature, children play various sports, & etc. It is the only big place near CR park market number 2 where you can see big cultural activities and festivals celebrations.
