Best shopping in Delhi with affordable rates.Only best deal to take from , make sure you bargain until you get a good deal. Lajpat Nagar Market is well connected by Metro as well as by Road . Although the parking of the vehicles is little congested , one can have a good variety shopping for clothes and house hold utensils . The Clothes variety include - Curtains , bed sheets , ladies salwar , etc . The shops located have a fixed pricing whereas the on road sales will have good bargain deals . The variety and the no of shops are large and one can enjoy the shopping till late hours . Cinema theater as well as food restaurants are available near by .

A popular street market in Central New Delhi. Although it's a multiple-purpose market, most stores here are for women's apparel and accessories. Wouldn't recommend men's wear shopping. Gets really crowded and has high traffic in the area. One can rarely get a safe spot for parking here, but might at a couple of hundred meters from the market.

I was here specially for food, which was good, but other than that, this place is amazing for wedding kinda shopping! From purses to all the essentials of wedding or be it normal cloths, I think you’ll find everything in the market!

If you want a mix of street-side & exclusive boutique/ showroom, then visit Lajpat Nagar. Bargaining is common around here. For better deal walk around the place and then start purchase...good eating joints are available (Bikanerwala) around this shopping hub. Although the parking area of the vehicles is quiet congested , one can have a good variety shopping for clothes and house hold items . The variety include - Curtains , bed sheets ,footwear, apparels etc. The variety and the no of shops are large and one can enjoy the shopping till late hours . Cinema theater as well as food restaurants are available near by. The market is closed on Mondays. Value for Money!

Lajpat Nagar Market, (Night time)also popularly known as the Central Market is where you will find all women hopping for their ethnic wear shopping. It is also a great shopping destination for buying household items, garments, textiles, shoes, etc. at affordable prices. There are a lot of eateries to ensure you can eat comfortably while you shop.Few of the most popular joints to eat at the Lajpat Nagar Market are Golden Fiesta, Nagpal Chole Bhature, Dolma Aunty Momos, Shivam Suresh Chaat Vala, QD’s Restaurant, Bikanervala, Firangi Bake, Biryani Blues, Hira Sweets & The Burger Club. You could choose your pick from a street shop to a fine dining restaurant as per your mood & preference. Lajpat Nagar Market is open from Tuesday -Sunday from 10.00 am to 9.00 pm. Lajpat Nagar Market is closed all Mondays. Lajpat Nagar Market is located in the South Delhi District & is well connected by both road & metro. The closest metro station to Lajpat Nagar Market is the Lajpat Nagar Metro Station which falls on both Pink Line & Violet Line. Take the exit from gate No.2 which is closest to the Central Market.

I recently visited Lajpat Nagar market and was thoroughly impressed with my experience. The market is bustling with activity and has a wide variety of products available for purchase. The prices are also very reasonable, making it an affordable destination for those looking to do some shopping. One of the standout features of the market is the abundance of clothing stores. There are a ton of options for both men and women, ranging from traditional Indian garments to western wear. I ended up buying a few outfits that I absolutely love. The food options in Lajpat Nagar market are also fantastic. There are a ton of street food vendors offering delicious, authentic Indian cuisine. I highly recommend trying the chaat and samosas. In addition to clothing and food, there are also a variety of other stores selling household items, beauty products, and more. The market is well-organized and easy to navigate, making it easy to find what you're looking for. Overall, I had a great experience at Lajpat Nagar market and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Whether you're looking for some new clothes or just want to experience the vibrant culture of Delhi, this market is definitely worth a visit.

Very busy market. Make sure you wear a mask. Great market for clothes, shoes, home decor, stationery etc., also for street Indian food and Afgani restaurants.

Great place for shopping. It's friendly to all kinds of pockets - from deep to shallow. Very good showrooms and also wonderful shopping experience on the street. It's teeming with food joints . On one end is Dolma momos and the other Ram laddu. Both famous and signature . So goes the saying - if you've been to Delhi , shopped at Lajpat and not had eats from these famous joints, you've missed something. Go ahead and have a wonderful time

Amazing shopping experience here. Very crowded, but found the best of all products. Reasonably priced. Good eateries in the market. Dedicate a day to experience the shopping vibes. Easily accessible via metro and auto rickshaws available to take you to the market or you can walk too.

Way to Nice colourful market.. Always Crowded….loaded with food, clothes, shoes and many more different items you can dream off. People do so much littering and do not use any masks these days. Please do not litter and remain calm. Parking is available at both sides and quite a rush. Nearest metro station is Lajpat Nagar. Stay Safe and Stay happy ..enjoy

If u know how to bet on price, has bargaining skills and enough strength to hunt down what u want in a crowded place.. u r at right place because u will find a lot of variety for women wear, a little less for men and i was unable to find kid’s clothes shops especially having bibs.. 😔. These days it’s full of decoratives for diwali

Market is decent. It would be better if you go there by Metro or Cab instead of taking your own car. It took me 30 mins to reach there from Noida and another 30 mins to park my car.

A sight be behold and a feast for anyone into photography and people-watching. It was great to see the locals our in their traditional clothing and Sunday best, doing their usual thing. The market has become touristy, so we were hassled a fair bit when walking through the stalls, esp the inside section. We expected to be quoted tourist prices for shopping, but not for fixed price food. When trying to eat at the market, though the prices were displayed, some vendors tried to charge us more double-triple. We tried local specialties like glutinous rice balls and multi-coloured sticky rice. The 1970 coffee stand is exceptionally good, with a very kind vendor. Most vendors were lovely and honest but beware of being scammed even by the food vendors!! A sight be behold and a feast for anyone into photography and people-watching. One thing good about here is mostly fixed pricing you can negotiate little bit, but rates are genuine and unlike sarojni nagar quality is very good.

A good market for street shopping with variety and affordability. I went there to try Dolma Aunty Momos..and other Street food joints.. food was yumm 😋 But one thing to note, it is quite a crowded market especially on weekends.. I found this market to be better than Sarojini though for youngsters with a marginal shopping budget Sarojini could be a better option.
