One of the very few authentic South Indian fast food restaurant in Delhi. This place is superb with very high standard in food. You can judge it by the never ending waiting going on outside the restaurant for space. The food is great and reasonably priced. Value for money. The service is highly efficient. Above all don’t forget to have filter coffee after the meal. A highly recommended place.

Visited this place with family for breakfast. location is good located on nain road. Parking is easily available. They offer Karnataka flavour food, taste was decent. We ordered rava coconut dosa, vada and idly. Prices were also decent and moderate.

This place have been a delight for many from a long time.. Very economical.. Food is also good Night decor do justice to it's beauty Filter coffee is a must try Service is also good Downside Always crowded or you need to wait specially lunch and dinners Inside sitting arrangement needs major improvements.. very claustrophobic Feels more crowded than it is Wish they could change the size of bowl in which we get sambhar as it is very small Otherwise nice place for South Indian foodie

I have been visiting Karnataka Food Centre since the 80s when it was little more than a shack in the Karnataka Sangh building. After night shifts at the airport we would normally drop in to have breakfast here. The food used to be excellent back then. Now commercialization has caught up with them. They have moved to a bigger location in the building, have a bigger operation, more tables and more staff. The menu has become bigger too. If only the food standards had kept up with their growth, they would have been unstoppable. While the food quality is still reasonably good, it is no longer what it used to be. The crowds are still there and it is still difficult to get a table at peak hours, but the feel just isn't what it used to be. Admittedly, you can't go wrong if you dine here, but if you ask whether it is among the finest South Indian food outlets in town, my answer would be - Not any more. My rating for them would be 3.5.

It's the best place for South Indian food, this has become our all time go to place because they have delicious and mouth watering food with excellent quantity and best services. Their filter coffee and fresh fruit juices are commendable, i love kiwi, guava and pineapple juice. 😍😍 There can be 10-15 min waiting in rush hour but it's worth it.

I ordered food through Zomato yesterday from this restaurant and found it of good quality and hygienic. However, there was an issue with the excessive use of plastic bags for packaging. Today, I dined at a restaurant for lunch, and I was pleased with the delicious thali and the pleasant ambiance, although it was quite crowded. a neighbor(table) asked to have the remaining food packed. The waiter handed over some aluminum foil and went away, but I felt that he could have been more helpful with the packing process. During my meal, I also encountered a cockroach roaming nearby, which was a bit concerning.

First, assisted parking. Second, as u cross the gate to enter the path to restaurant, the greenery, and their collection of WOW winter flowers, makes all five senses delighted and ecstatic, and Happy and and. Now enter the Restaurant, all norms r followed, temp check, sanitizing etc. How can I omit the smile of the person on the counter-Welcoming every customer. Seating is as per corona norms. Food is just Fantastic, tasty, authentic, served hot with a smile, and warm hospitality. I had to attend an important call- courtesy bad signal, which made me miss the most authentic COFFEE. I would like to meet the owner/Manager to thank and know how they manage with such perfection. Namaskar.

Its a good place for South Indian food. The food is fresh and delicious and reasonably priced. The best part is that the food is light on stomach and less on chillies. A thali is a wholesome meal for one person. Weekends you have waiting for 30 minutes or more. Will visit again.

Visited after almost 15 yrs! The place has changed but the food remains as it was. I won't say great...but definitely good. The maharaja thali is loaded, good when ur way too hungry. The dosa is good as usual. The ambience is like any other South Indian canteen and the prices are genuinely moderate. Good for lunch but weekends are crowded and has waiting upto 30mins

Food is really good, authentic taste of Karnataka. Its exactly the same thing I had in Karnataka. Masala dosa, uttapam and filter copy are must try. The location of this place is near to metro station and you may have to wait to get seats. It is supported by art gallery and handicraft shop which is a must visit. The outer look is beautiful with lots of green plants. The waiting area is also supported by a water cooler so it's fine to wait also. Much recommended place.

Great experience with the parking, food, shopping and all. Taste of food is as good as Karnataka people. authentic way of serving the food. Best & fast service. Billing & service are great. One must visit the place to get South Indian food cravings satisfied. This was my first time, Personally, I liked Upma and I will taste other things on next visit. Also, I would like to thank the outside parking 🅿️ guard. He is such a nice person.

Hi everyone this is my new review for this restaurant . We are regular visitors but when we order from zomato that time these guys send stale stuff which affects us poorly This has happened multiple times and they don’t take any responsibility for that. **Old review** Our most visited and favourite South Indian restaurant. We have been visiting more than twenty years. Amazing food and my most favourite Filter Coffee ☕️. Amazing flowers and greenery.

It’s always crowded. There is waiting time for 30 to 45 minutes. Parking is an issue as there is limited space and since this is a VIP movement road so police will not let you park outside the parking a lot. Servicing is top class They take less than 5 minutes to serve food. Place is very neat and clean. Food is very tasty. Strongly recommended.

This is my favourite place in Delhi to go for South Indian breakfast. I love going here. The taste of Dosas is just amazing. Filter coffee is a must try. The thali is equally good and filling but for lunch or dinner. You will find crowd here all the time. There are facilities of washroom as well. Near, clean, polite staff. Amazing hospitality. The only problem sometimes is the issue of parking. Place gets filled very soon.

I wanted Karnataka Bhavan, now renamed to Katnataka Food Centre. I didn't want to encounter the lunch crowd. So I reached at 4.15 pm. Alone. And I was told that the waiting time was 20 min. And it took me 25 min. And the wait was absolutely worth it!! That is Karnataka Food Centre for the Delhiites. I doubt if more than 60 can be seated in the small place. The Masala Dosas, Uttapams, the desserts like "Holige" or "Mysorepaks" are in the league of their own. 90% of the people queuing up were Punjabis and hard core Delhiites. Excellent service, very well managed, very efficient. A weekend afternoon well spent with the small yet cozy restaurant that hasn't lost its charm over the last 20 years!

Nice food festival..various of food items related to Karnataka culture are presented here. One can get tokens near main entry and then use them against various food outlets in the campus..people serving food are very humble and helping in nature will give you extra toppings upon asking. Price is moderately reasonable not much high nor less. Allover nice experience

True value for food 1. Quality or taste: good 2. Quantity/portion size: adequate 3. Chutney: served on demand in good amounts 4. Ambience: good, but lighting can be improved 5. Ne’er dosa and benne dosa: should be available without any time restrictions

One of the favourite South Indian restaurant in Delhi. They never disappoint you. Delicious food, beautiful ambiance, good staff (some times without smile 😃) and value for money.

If you are looking for good South Indian food then this place is for you in reasonable price. You can dosas without oil and there will be no difference in taste.Only thing I didn’t like that this place is super crowded (noise all the time inside restaurants also no music) and waiting time no matter at what time you are going there. So if you are going for only food then go for it.

One of the best places in Delhi for South Indian food. Reasonable prices, clean & prompt service. Although have some waiting time at lunch or dinner time due to its popularity.

  • 1/5 Jigson L. 3 years ago on Google
The food is amazing. But I'll give them 1 star, because they lack customer service. As they know they are not going to loose customers. The place is always full to the rafters. I ordered a Mysore Pak, it was hard and awful tbh. I requested them not to charge me as I didn't like and only took a bite. They didn't oblige and they charged me. Arrogance.

The food is good, the service is fast as well. But I feel like it has been degraded now compared to what it was in the past. Cleanliness and hygiene can be improved for sure.

Okay, so the review here is relative in nature, it being compared with Sarvana Bhavan, CP, Delhi... The place is quite neat and clean...it would be wise to enter from Sector 12, park your car in there and walk for 100m to this place... The food is priced reasonably, taste is OK to good... If sarvana bhavan food is 8, it would be 6.5 here...

Went here for a quick dinner and we ordered idli Vada, ghee roast dosa and butter masala dosa along with filter coffee. Food was decent and good south Indian food in Delhi. Sambar was nice didn't like the chutney much though. Filter coffee was good.

Maintains the taste and authenticity of South Indian cuisine. It's still a small space with small tables so that is a hassle to adjust here. There is always queue so we need to wait. I hope they can expand someday. I love their idli, vada and rice. The chutneys they serve in thali is awesome. Budget friendly place too.

Very good value for money. I first visited this place is 1999 and since than many time. This time I visited after the gap of 6 years. The best part for me is while returning back from delhi towards gurgaon this is best place to stop and eat since it’s all on the way. Food is good and made fresh, the quantity is good and price is very reasonable. You may need to wait for your turn since it’s gets crowded. I avoid going on weekends since that makes this place very crowded.

Great food at great prices. A great place to have South Indian and to be more precise for karnataka cuisine ( udupi). Tasty food with lot of options. A must visit place in Delhi, for anyone and everyone, who loves South Indian food.

One of the best place in Delhi to try authentic south Indian food. All there items are deliciously prepared and served. The only problem is too much of crowd at the time of lunch where one has to wait for 10-30 mins depending upon the crowd.

👍👍 Absolutely love their rice combos. Paneer rice is my all time favourite. Great option for dinner, if you work nearby. If you're looking for a place for quick bites, then you need to visit this place.
