Restaurant: Mount Fuji Location: Middle Circle, Connaught Place, New Delhi I recently had the pleasure of dining at Mount Fuji. New Delhi and I must say it was an exceptional culinary experience. From the moment I stepped into the restaurant, I was greeted with a warm and authentic Japanese atmosphere. The traditional wooden decor, soft lighting, and soothing background music set the perfect mood for a memorable dining experience. The menu at Mount Fuji offers a wide variety of sushi and sashimi options, as well as other traditional Japanese dishes. I started my meal with a plate of Rainbow sushi and yellow curry and chicken basil dim-sum , and each piece was a work of art.The presentation was impeccable, with vibrant colors and meticulous attention to detail. Main course had chicken tan tan ramen and ended the meal with sweetness of rolled fried ice-cream, incredibly delicious. The service at Mount Fuji was top-notch throughout the entire meal. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and eager to provide recommendations based on my preferences. They were also happy to explain the various ingredients and cooking techniques used in each dish, enhancing the overall dining experience. Overall, Mount Fuji exceeded my expectations in every way. The quality of the food, the attention to detail in the presentation, and the exceptional service all contributed to a memorable meal. If you find yourself in Connaught Place and craving authentic Japanese cuisine, Mount Fuji is definitely a restaurant worth visiting.

Sorry to say but the restaurant did not live upto our expectations. My sister n I were eager to try Japanese food n pinned down on Fuji based on the avg ratings/feedbacks given on Google Review. But it was a major let down. Not only the food portions were insufficient (for the price charged) but the service was very slow as well. They routinely forgot to serve us basic needs like water or extra bowls. We had to specifically ask for water. And when the waitress did so, she served only one glass. I had to specifically ask for one more. Don't they serve water in Japanese restaurants? Being new to Japanese cuisine we requested the guy taking our orders to help us with the menu. But he himself seemed lost and didn't seem very knowledgeable abt the cuisine. Ended up ordering a kind of rice beer we didn't want - I think he didn't understand our requirement. We eventually selected a platter n before ordering, specifically asked if it would be sufficient for two persons. But the portions were a major let down. Some vegetables sauté n salad, small bowl of rice, soup n sushi.. all in very small portions. This is India come on n your food must fill your guests' tummy for worth its price. The rice beer we ordered somehow filled our stomachs! Kind of the situation when your tummy feels filled after drinking water but that's not real eating. We refrained from ordering anything further due to the slow service. Neither we got the "Japanese experience" mentioned by so many reviewers nor the exalted service. Overall, a very lackadaisical attitude from the staff and over priced food for the portions served. The whole “dinner” cost us around 5000/- (Don’t remember the exact figures but near about) And to come out hungry & unsatiated because the portions were so miserly was a major let down. I don’t think Japanese ppl also eat this less. To add to the woes, the service was so lousy the servers were reluctant to serve even water. Would not recommend this overpriced restaurant with bad food and terrible service.

Located at CP inner circle New Delhi. Neat and clean restaurant. Nice theme like Japanese and atmosphere. Staffs are supportive and cooperative. We had a lunch here and had tuna sushi 🍣, salmon Sushi 🍣, hot bowl chicken and prawn 🍤 🍜 rice 🍚, Chicken Hakka Noddles, Soup🍲 etc. Fresh and good quality foods. Price is little bit higher side. 💯 Recommended.

Previously a purely Japanese, turned into pan asian restaurant for good. Food - Had Gyouza, Ramen, Korean fried chicken; everything was great. Just a weird experience by adding Mochi ice-cream, I loved it but my wife hated it. Service - Great service; quite welcoming and everything was quick on the table. Ambiance - Average experience in terms of ambiance and atmosphere. Not bad nor anything extraordinary. Price - Cost of 2 was approx ₹3k including liquor. After discount ₹2.5k Value - 4.5/5 Overall I had a good experience. Will visit again in future.

If you are looking for Japanese food than this is one of the places you should consider with a limited but mouth watering variety of menu their tempura dimsum and miso Ramen are best. It's a bit pricey given the food quantity but the taste is just wow. Visit in afternoons for less rush. Happy eating 😋

This restaurant is a nice find and one of those who has not yet overly indianized the menu and flavor. The menu is authentic japanese. They have introduced some vegetarian options, which is welcome. But the flavor of their non-veg items is very near to Japanese palate. Ramen is better than what I have had in other japanese restaurants in India. Katsu curry is bang on. They have put a twist on takoyaki, but it doesn't taste bad. Will come again sometime to explore other menu options.

Fuji Restaurant is in the M block at CP inner circle and near about Andhra food market. It will give you a very different experience with ground sitting arrangements. If you are non vegetarian then it will be an added advantage for you and for vegetarians, options are limited because of sea food. I tried soup, Asparagus Shushi, Noodles, and Icecream(desert) . All food are very well served and taste awesome. Must visit place at least for once. No Alcohol served. My suggestion to Visit this place for adding an exceptional experience. Very calm music and very romantic aroma all around will take you another world. Restaurant people are very humble and cooperative. So Must visit and share you experience with me .

Ambience is perfect, we sat on traditional style table. Good variety of Sushi, both Veg & N-Veg menus are equally delicious being a Veg I can still feel the odour or spices in N-Veg dishes also. I ordered 4 dishes, each dish has its own style and unique flavour. Cleanness is first priority of them. it is a bit costlier but seeaking its presentation, dishes and diversity in menu It's worth for it. Tips for improvement - Try to enhance more seating arrangement on ground area, try to show customer how the food is made and how Sushi masters put their efforts to form a simple in wonderful skills

The food, service and ambience were all great! Especially the ambience. The place is aesthetically pleasing and the staff is very courteous. I tried a lot of dishes here and I relished each and every dish. The service was also super quick. The place is adequately priced plus you'll get a great discount through swiggy and dineout as well. There was sufficient parking outside the restaurant. Lastly the washrooms were clean. No complaints, I recommend this to all!

Fuji Japanese restaurant has rebranded itself as Mount Fuji restaurant. It's no longer a solely Japanese restaurant and now offers a somewhat wide range of pan-Asian dishes. I always loved it for not being crowded and for their ramen and donburi. Have not tried their new dishes yet but had a katsu donburi which was hearty and but slightly salty. Will go back to explore some more.

Starting with the atmosphere- Its a very cute and aesthetic place where you’ll have various sitting options. Its perfect for taking your family out for good japanese + pan asian food. The service was amazing as well so no worries there too. Coming to the best part, THE FOOD: Sushi boats (veg) : We tried two boats and both of them were fantabulously yummy, the sushis were one of the best ones in Delhi, (second best after sushis from DASHI). Korean Chicken: It tasted like normal chilly chicken, nothing different there so if you like chilly chicken, you give it a try. Ramen Bowl: One of the best Ramen bowls I have tried all over Delhi , even better than YouMe, you can definitely try it, its worth it. However it was a little towards spicier side so you can skip if you are sensitive to spicy food. Dimsums: we tried 3 types. Chilli oil chicken dimsums were nice, can definitely give it a try if you are a non vegetarian. cheese dimsums, they were average but edamame truffle dimsums were bland and not really edible so would recomment skipping them altogether if you haven’t come here for dimsums. Drinks: we tried orange mojito 5/5, virgin mojito 3/5, cold coffee 4/5. Thats it I guess. Things to avoid: veg dimsums and virgin mojito. Enjoy!!!!!

Atmosphere was really good and we sat on tatami mats. Apart from it mango sushi and curry dumplings were also delicious, avocado pizza was also great, I also liked bitterness and sweetness of matcha icecream. Overall it was a great experience.

Good place and equally good food. We liked the seating area and the light music. We felt that the staff could be more trained to make recommendations for dishes, portions and drinks but that's not the fault of the staff. I would recommend ordering dish by dish since the portions are quiet generous. Bar menu is not very extensive and it did not seem like they were made by a trained professional but they aren't advertising themselves as a bar primarily so it's okay.

Authentic and delicious Japanese food. We opted for traditional sitting, which was just like you see in Japanese movies, but modified so as to create a void beneath table where one can keep legs, instead of sitting in traditional Japanese way, which can be uncomfortable for many. I liked this a lot. I’m a vegetarian but still could find many options for myself. We had tempura, different Sushi dishes and vegetarian flat noodles. I liked everything, especially the zucchini sushi. And to my surprise it costed around 4k for 6 of us. I’m totally impressed. Now this place has become one of my favourites and I won’t leave any chance to visit again. 😄

Mount Fuji Restaurant in Delhi is the best place to have Japanese Food , and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Every time I'm in Delhi, I make sure I visit this place for my dinner. This hidden gem transported me to the heart of Japan with its incredible Japanese cuisine, authentic taste, and impeccable presentation. From the moment I stepped inside, the restaurant's ambiance exuded an elegant yet cozy Japanese charm. The traditional decor, soothing music, and attentive staff set the perfect stage for a memorable dining experience. Now, onto the star of the show – the food. Fuji Restaurant truly excels in delivering the essence of Japanese cuisine. The menu offers a wide array of dishes, from sushi and sashimi to tempura and ramen, catering to both sushi connoisseurs and those looking to explore the diverse flavors of Japan. The sushi was a highlight of my meal. Each piece was a work of art, showcasing the freshest fish and perfectly seasoned rice. The delicate balance of flavors and textures was a testament to the chef's skill and dedication to authenticity. The sashimi was equally impressive, with the translucent slices of fish practically melting in my mouth. It was a pure celebration of the ocean's bounty. The tempura was light and crispy, showcasing the restaurant's commitment to using high-quality ingredients and perfecting the art of frying. And let's not forget the ramen, a bowl of comfort and flavor. The rich, steaming broth was a symphony of umami, and the noodles had the ideal texture. Presentation at Fuji Restaurant is taken seriously. Every dish arrived at the table like a work of art, beautifully arranged on exquisite Japanese tableware. It's not just a meal; it's a visual delight. Fuji Restaurant in Delhi is a haven for Japanese food enthusiasts and anyone seeking an authentic culinary journey to Japan. With impeccable taste, presentation, and a warm ambiance, it's a must-visit for those looking to savor the flavors of Japan in the heart of Delhi

Food is very traditional and tastes awesome. The salmon roll although has raw fish in it didn't smell or anything rather quite the opposite, it tasted very delicious. The ramen was very good too. I ordered an iced tea without ice and they warmed it up which was a surprise but it tasted very good. Definitely recommend to visit with family.

At Mount Fuji Japanese Restaurant, the pleasant atmosphere and courteous staff contribute to a comfortable dining environment. While the menu offers a good selection of traditional dishes, there's room for improvement in elevating the flavors to truly capture the essence of Japanese cuisine. The presentation is commendable, but a bit more attention to enhancing taste profiles could enhance the overall dining experience. Nevertheless, with reasonable prices and a welcoming ambiance, Mount Fuji remains a suitable choice for those looking for a straightforward Japanese dining outing.

This was our first attempt at Japanese food. We are more into Chinese and Korean. We liked the food ...little less of spices ( as Japanese food is) . We had Sushi platter, Prawn tempura, Grilled Salmon and Classic Ramen pork. I loved their Black Rose mocktail. The staff was very courteous. Good location.

I won't recommend pizza here...the garlic noodles was as same as any restuarant and the ambience is the only part which was good. Also the pricing is also vey high...

This resturant has great food, especially their sushi. However the service is on the slower side and the traditionally japanese floor is limited to a few seats downstairs. The section upstairs in comparison was rather small and slightly stuffy. Still would recommend the place for the great sushi platters (tuna, salmon and hamachi)

We tried Chicken and Hot Basil Sui Mui, Tom yum Pork, Prawn tempura and Bacon and Chilli Pork Fried Rice. All the items were delicious and perfect portion size. I especially love the fried rice that had a smokey flavour with kind of like sticky rice. It was an amazing experience.
