I had to Checkout 5 am early morning and there was no staff available. The front office guy (someone with tattoos). He was drunk and sleeping so deep that I had to wake him up. And when I woke him up he was so angry & rude on me that I could see ANGER on in his face I was scared for a moment. This is very bad. Please I request Mustache to hire a loyal, intelligent and kind person who don’t sleep all night, and be kind to the guest , when they wake you up. This guy with tattoos was very bad , pathetic service and very poor behavior by the staff. Very unkind to a girl. I will never return to this place.

I often stay in traveler's hostels during trips, so I recommended this hostel to my friends for our Delhi trip. It's situated in a convenient location, within a 20 km radius of most sightseeing spots. The welcoming and friendly staff, especially Jagadish, made our check-in process smooth. We booked a 6-bed mixed dorm room for our group of five, and it was reasonably clean. The hostel has a great terrace for outdoor gatherings and a nice lawn area. However, the restroom facilities were a major letdown – they were extremely dirty, and there was a continuous water drip from the roof of the toilet . It appears that the restrooms aren't being maintained regularly, which was our only negative experience during our stay at this hostel.

I mean there’s a lawn guys, the staff is amazing and really helpful and the beds are also comfortable. Private rooms are kinda expensive but I mean if you’re really desperate for her then why not. I’ve been to all the hostels in Delhi and this one stands my favourite, the homely feels stay strong here. Overall an amazing stay for Delhi standards.

As I checked into the hostel, I couldn't help but notice that the two receptionists on duty were from the same state as me. It was a coincidence that sparked an instant connection, and their exceptional behavior and etiquette made me feel welcome and appreciated. The hostel itself was kept spotless, and the attention to detail was evident in every corner. What really stood out, however, was the food they served. Each dish was cooked to perfection, and the flavors reminded me of the meals I enjoyed back home. I have nothing but praise for this hostel and would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay.

The hostel is located in a quiet neighborhood, and is fairly close a a few restaurants and grocery stores. I stayed at a private twin room, which was clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable and large. My experience was damaged because the water in my room didn’t run for a few hours in the morning and so I couldn’t shower or brush my teeth. And I had to go to the reception and then wait for a long time until it started running again. The hotel isn’t very appealing, and the roof was pretty basic. But the overall atmosphere was friendly and relaxing and so I had a good time with other people in the sitting area on the roof.

Beautiful experience I got from here.. Very friendly staff.. Lovely lawn, common area, shared kitchen... The terrace should be maintained properly and there were lot of mosquitos.

Moustache Escape is the worst travelling company we have ever encountered. They all together are just running the scam and just want to dupe their customers/preys. I was travelling alone, they promised me the journey via traveler and decent stays and assured that the guide will be with us the entire time. However, they told us that we will go via car, there was no guide, provided us a worst driver that I feared for my safety, and asked us to stay in staff compartments and gave a double bed for four person. And when we complained that we are not animals and cannot stay like this they said we will have to adjust this way, there is no other way. After much chaos, when we said we will complain this to consumer court, they ensured us to book our hotels elsewhere and they will refund some of our amount after deducting travelling cost. Then we booked our own hotel (and paid double), but after returning they denied ever confirming the refund and said they have decided not to do it and said if we have any problem, come to our office in Jaipur to talk. After much chaos, 1 cyber complaint they refunded some of our money back but this is nothing compared to the trouble and problems we had to endure because of these lying and cheating group. They're not in the business of travel/tourism, they are actually in the business of looting common people.

We stayed at Moustache Delhi for 3 nights in a private room. When our toilet stopped working they gave us a new room so quick. The staff are so nice and really helpful with tips about booking transport and how to get around. The hostel is in a gated community in what seemed a very nice area with loads of shops only a 3 min walk from the hostel. We felt very safe and it was very easy to get around.

This place will give you a proper hostel vibe. Do not expect a 5 star stay; you will get what you have paid for. Good thing about this place: 1. The location - it is very well connected; malls, movie theatres, tourist places all are nearby. 2. Safety - This place is located inside a gated society with guards at the gate and even the approach road is taken care by the local police at night. 3. Cost - It's damn affordable, to get a place with all the facilities in south Delhi is unthinkable at this price. 4. The host - The people who are running this place are super friendly and helpful. They are keeping the place alive. 5. Food - Outside food is allowed and you are allowed to cook in the community kitchen as well. They also provide food for a very reasonable price and cold water and soft drinks are always available. Now for some not so good things about the place: 1. Rooms - All Doms are crowded, at least 6 people share a 10x12 ft room. They even have 8 bed Doms. Rooms feel a bit claustrophobic and cramped. 2. A/C - They have a very odd rule of not allowing AC to run in Doms during the day, so when it is actually hot you cannot chill in your bed and have to be in the common area. 3. Stairs - Yes, there is no lift and stairs are the only option. But the property just has 2 stories ground and 1st floor, 2nd floor is essentially a terrace. 4. Address - They do not have Moustache written anywhere outside or even put up a logo anywhere. This one is a minor issue but can be really annoying. 5. Washrooms: This one is a major turn off. The washrooms are shared and at full capacity the common one is used by more than 20 people. The regular cleaning is not enough for the washroom and needs renovation. The shower heads are outright dirty.

Writing this review on the basis of my stay few days back for 5 days in July. First of all property is very nice they have common room with 2 A/C , and then dorms etc .. They have Non- A/C dorm also idk why? And A/C dorms with "timings" which is from 10Pm to 10Am then rest of the day A/c won't be working . This was the one of the major draw back of this hostel. What's point of having 10to10 A/C timings in SUMMERS. People were sitting in common room during afternoon because mostly both A/C were working in common room . Washrooms were 2/5 rating for me. The bathing area was having problem in drainage of the water, the toilets were not having proper functioning flush. We complaint about this they listened but right now we don't know it was fixed or it's like this only. They were having problems with the supply of water also. It's highly NOT recommended to stay here in Summers. You can smoke ciggerate in the lawn and on the terrace. Zepto , Zomato ,swiggy everythings is available there so there is no problem of food Moustache also offers moustache made food also by there chief which will cost you. Our room was approx16 bed A/C dorm which was decent. There was no common fan but every bed had a seperate small fan, but very few people were staying in room obviously for 10to10 timing of the A/C. Apart from this, staff were good , lawn area is also pretty nice. You will meet new people from different places and can experience different cultures out there.

I won’t rate it good for cleanliness nor upkeep of the hostel. They ask you to keep your shoes outside the hostel. Didn’t get the point, it’s nt a worship place but a hostel. Felt unsafe in hostel being a solo female traveller. But after speaking to a fellow roommate and other folks decided to stay and thankfully it did go well in terms of security. Booked an AC dorm but as per the rule they won’t switch on AC in day and they spoke as they were entitled to not switch on AC bcoj they mentioned it in the welcome email. AC dorm AC is switched between 10pm to 10am. The fan wasn’t working on my bed hence the property manager decided to switch on AC for me in day time. Place is near to a community centre and is in a residential area.

Very cozy and comfortable hostel. Welcoming, kind and helpful staff. Place provides meals and city tours on main attractions. The showers and WC are big and clean. Awesome common area with coaches pillows and plugs. Big table for dining. Cloak room for luggage. Creative design of the space. Green inner yard for chilling. Balcony in dorms. Common space on the rooftop. Good spot to relax if Delhi is your transit point. By its location Moustache hostel absolutely wins any other accomodation of same price level. The district is clean, green, pleasant and safe. Deeply recommend all the travellers, who want to keep a good impression about Delhi!

The staff and the people were very friendly and they speak English. I had a private room for 2 people. The living room was nice but the bathroom needs renovation. The toilet did not flush properly and the shower looked dirty. The wifi always worked at the reception but on the upper floors it kept crashing. Overall I still enjoyed my experience because the staff was always very helpful.

Having spent a few weeks in India, I've come to really appreciate this gem of a stay. I left my trekking boots there and contacted them to keep them safe for me. They communicated with me swiftly. When I came back, they greeted me warmly, asked about my trip, and really made me feel like I was at home. They kept my shoes safe while I was gone (for two weeks!) and remembered who I was. I was really impressed and taken aback at their personable service! The stay I had was nice, in a 6 bed dorm. It had outlets and a fan. It was clean and I noticed how staff kept the entire place clean every day! They have free water refills and a laundry room. The common area is nice, with a chill vibe to meet locals and foreigners alike. The area, new friend colony, is nice. Not too busy, with a shopping mall nearby with cafes you can relax in. I enjoyed my overall experience here and would encourage other budget travelers to consider staying here.

I recently had the opportunity to stay at Moustache Hostel in Delhi and would like to share my experience. Overall, my stay was a mixed with both positive and negative aspects. Here is a detailed review highlighting the good and the bad: Positive Comments: Friendly Staff: The staff at Moustache Hostel was incredibly friendly and welcoming. They were always available to assist with any queries or requests I had during my stay. Clean Common Areas: The common areas, including the lounge and kitchen, were well-maintained and kept clean. It was a comfortable space to relax and socialize with other guests. Convenient Location: The hostel is located in a prime area of Delhi, with easy access to public transportation, restaurants, and popular attractions. It made exploring the city hassle-free. Negative Comments: Poor Air Conditioning: One of the major downsides of my stay was the inadequate air conditioning in the rooms. Despite the scorching Delhi heat, the AC units struggled to cool the rooms effectively, leading to discomfort during the night. Lack of Disclosure on House Rules: Unfortunately, the hostel failed to provide clear information on their house rules before the booking process. This resulted in surprises upon arrival, as certain rules and restrictions were enforced that were not clearly communicated beforehand. This lack of transparency could be improved. While there were positive aspects to my stay at Moustache Hostel, the issues with the air conditioning and the undisclosed house rules were significant drawbacks. I hope the management takes note of these concerns and works towards addressing them for the benefit of future guests. Despite the aforementioned issues, I appreciate the efforts of the friendly staff and the cleanliness of the common areas. With some improvements in the areas mentioned, Moustache Hostel has the potential to provide a more comfortable and enjoyable stay for its guests.

The great place to stay in delhi. I booked for 2 days but I almost extended my stay for 1 week because of thr vibe. Staff and reception people are very helpful and available at a call. Comfortable bed, fully functioning kitchen, well seated common area, clean bedsheet and dorms. Best part is food prepared by cook in the hostel (Laxman bhaiya) at a reasonable price. Great price and would stay again.

When I arrived at the hostel by phone fell out my hand and the screen broke. The manager let me use his personal phone to call and organise to get my phone fixed which was very helpful. Overall the place has a nice vibe and clean facilities, it’s also in a much safer and nicer neighbourhood in Delhi. I would recommend staying here if you visit Delhi

First, my friend was right recommending this place. You see, ND can be overwhelming if you are not used to it. Moustache is in a very good neighborhood and very safe. The staff is really friendly and they are constantly cleaning. The hostel offers an environment in each is cozy and nice to make new friends. Besides, Rahul, one of the guys working there took us on the best walking tour around old Delhi, he showed us the best places and made our experience in ND and in the hostel even better! Thanks you all!!!

The six Dorm Rooms are congested. The sixteen Dorm rooms are spacious. There is timings for Air conditioning to start, considering the climate we visited was hot and humid which Is uncomfortable There is 2 common washrooms for 16 bed and 6 bed dorms which is uncomfortable. The washroom was decent. The staff is good and supportive.

In my humble opinion, Moustache hostel is the best hostel in Delhi. I think so because of 3 important factors: it is more quiet than anywhere else in delhi. All the rooms (including the bathrooms) are clean and feel immediately like home but most importantly, the chill area and the people that chill in the chill area are nice! So if you are also nice, definetly come hang out at this place!

  • 4/5 Daniel A. 1 year ago on Google
This is a nice hostel with very friendly staff. A lot of people sleeping in the common areas which makes it uncomfortable and you can expect noise untill very late at night if your window faces the front patio. I don't understand how can they allow partying untill 5am but don't allow drinking alcohol within hostel premises. Weird standards if you ask me.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Moustache Hostel, and I must say it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with a warm welcome by the friendly and helpful staff. The hostel has a trendy and vibrant atmosphere that immediately made me feel at home. The facilities at Moustache Hostel are top-notch. The dormitory rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The beds were cozy, and I appreciated having my own locker to store my belongings securely. The common areas are thoughtfully designed, providing plenty of space to relax, socialize, or get some work done. One of the highlights of my stay was the hostel's social activities. Moustache Hostel organizes various events and tours, making it easy to meet other travelers and explore the city together. The staff was knowledgeable about the local area and offered excellent recommendations for places to visit, eat, and experience the local culture. What truly sets Moustache Hostel apart is the incredible sense of community it fosters. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure that everyone feels welcome and included. Whether you're a solo traveler or part of a group, you're bound to make new friends and create lasting memories. The location of the hostel is also worth mentioning. It's situated in a convenient and safe neighborhood, with easy access to public transportation and popular attractions. I appreciated being able to explore the city easily and return to a comfortable and secure base at the end of the day. Overall, I can't recommend Moustache Hostel enough. It's an excellent choice for travelers looking for a welcoming, comfortable, and social accommodation option. Whether you're staying for a few nights or a few weeks, you're sure to have an unforgettable experience. I can't wait to visit Moustache Hostel again on my next adventure!

It was a great hostel. The host even bought me a cake for my birthday and we celebrated. There's a nice chill out area and kitchen to cook your own food - the chef can also cook breakfast or meals for you. Recommended!

It was a great one-day stay experience. The people were celebrating birthday party, the day I stayed there and it’s just awesome to see people enjoying(I was lucky to see the party). I must recommend to stay once and if you feel better, you can think to stay longer. But one point should be noted, people from NCR are not allowed, if you have any confusion, please contact before booking.

Very nice location, walking distance to a general store and several restaurant options. Stayed in a private room which was spacious, clean and had a comfortable bed, the bathroom is pretty run down and you won't receive WiFi in the room only in the common area. Staff is very friendly and helpful, we took one of their walking tours and it was fun and good value.

  • 1/5 Raghav K. 1 year ago on Google
Been there stayed for a while so can say now it's Not a place if you look for hygiene. Common washroom looks even dirtier then public toilets on roads, In the night you can't step in the washroom because there's one shared washroom for 20-25 people and there's no housekeeping after 7pm. So whatever mess is there it stays there till morning untill housekeeping comes. Sometimes even you are sitting on hot seat and later you get to know there's no water in Jet spray. Kitchen is always messy, sink is always flooded with food waste and water and in that you are supposed to wash your dishes even after paying for food otherwise there's a lovely penalty of rs 500 coming in your way. There's no mobile network in the property and then their wifi also crash again and again, when you complain then there's guy ask you about problem but doesn't do anything except calming to be a Wifi technician. They have nice rooftop, good to chill have drinks and all but carpet, mattress are always dirty.. Not well maintained. Along with if you play music even on your phone then they'll come and ask you to reduce the volume, imagine you can't play music even on your phone. That location is amazing, place is good to stay for short stays but not worth it. There are better places around like Hosteller, Bed & Chai in Gk, Hide In in Saket and many more. As I have travelled around and been to Moustache Jaipur, Rishikesh and few more I'll say Moustache should look more into Franchise properties to maintain the brand value.

  • 5/5 Shivani C. 4 months ago on Google
There are better hostels. Only one bathroom with hot water, and a common bathroom shared between +20 people. I had extra items added onto to my bill that i had to pay for, and was refunded for. Anjali (headoffice) was absolutely rude to me when I had payment issues linking my paypal card to my Indian bank account, and refused to be understanding. Choose another hostel. Either than the hostel staff and location you can get a better experience else where.

Pros: 1. Extremely helpful and friendly staffs. 2. Great Locality. 3. NFC market is nearby. 4. Rooms are good. 5. Terrace is such a treat to spend some quality time. Cons: 1. Because of the rules, the Air conditioner stays off from 10 a.m to 10 p.m which creates a little discomfort because of the extreme warm weather of Delhi but AC still works in the common area. Apart from this, the whole experience was pretty good.

Last but not least the best are more comfortable than 5 star hostels they change sheet every time a guest leaves and if you want you can ask for cleaning bed, kitchen is full of fun everybody will offer something, front disk 24/7 with smile. I can write million words about it but I should not longer time of yours. If you come india pay a visit to moustache you will remember what i said here. God bless you all.

I had one day of stay at a hostel which was a good stay, the front manager was very welcoming and kind, overall I had a peaceful stay. The hostel is located away from the centre and at a very silent location, it was very difficult to locate them as they don’t even have their nameplate on the property and I had to roam here and there for around 10 to 15 minutes.

I have really enjoyed my stay here. The staffs and the managers are super friendly and helpful! I did a staycation at this hostel and it far exceeded my expectations. The lobby / common area are cosy and comfortable. The wifi connections are very good, you can get up to 50 Mbps. The beds were cleaned and maintained well, the dorms were spacious. Toilets were hygienic. And finally, the location is fantastic.. cannot be explained unless it is experienced. Go ahead and book the place without any hesitation. Read less

If you are travelling solo or with someone this is the best place to stay in one of the expensive area in a comparative cheap rate. Room stays are not that cheap but there is positivity around you. Bunk beds are available if you want to experience hostel life again. Just make sure you reach back before 10:30 pm as the society main gate is closed after that.

I loved my stay in Moustache Delhi. - The host are amazing human beings. - The staff are always ready to help, offer support and just share sweets with you. - The home-cooked food every day for a week was just what I needed the most as I needed to stay away from outside food. - Eating my lunch, dinner and chatting with the amazing hosts was the best part of the deal. Coming from an estranged family history this meant a lot to me. The hostel was well maintained, the dorm beds were very comfortable. They had plug points inside the lockers which was great for charging when one is in shower or outside. The dorm beds have curtains for privacy. The wifi was really great as I could do my zoom calls. The hostel is also located near the New Friends Colony market, for your daily coffee runs or if you want to eat tandoor and tikka. Now this is my other home in Delhi. Glad to have another safe spot.

I am a traveller and I have been to so many hostels but I have never seen such rude people who are not willing to co-operate with anything. The washroom are not clean and there is no hot water in the washrooms. The receptionist Shivangi is very rude and doesn't know how to be welcoming. I hope they might change their staff and make them understand how to welcome a guest. I have more things to write but no sense. Hope you don't choose this as a hostel

Really loved the hospitality and vibe the place was radiating ❤️ Warm, cosy and comfort rooms (bunk beds) at a very reasonable rate. The place boasts off an open space, a common room (which had all my heart), a common kitchen and a beautifully lit terrace ❤️ All in all an amazing place to stay if you are a budget traveller ❤️

My friend and I stayed at Moustache Delhi a few weeks ago and we had a lovely experience. Recently I have stayed with them again for a week and it was pleasant. The rooms and facilities were okay and fairly clean. The people were great and the location is 10/10. I would visit again for a short stay.

Good place with very supportive staff but the only problem is they will switch on the AC. only from 10 pm to 10am regardless of hot sunny 🌞 days in summer you can't stay in dormitory in day time due excessive hot rooms perhaps you can chill with peoples in common area at ground floor.

Location is awesome. Place is good bit service is average. They write AC dorms on their website but when you visit,it turns out to have terms and conditions of 10pm-10 am which is like disappointing.

Highly not recommended. This place doesn’t even have a name sign. Place doesn’t give a vibe of hostel for travellers, it’s more like a pg or hostel. They don’t have a lift. One good thing is there rooms are spacious. It’s just 200-300 cheaper than hostellers. I have stayed at both hostellers and moustache Delhi. Would recommend you to choose hosteller, vibe is good there and it’s on main road.

Good hostel vibes and very good staff but no phone network ( mine was Airtel ) inside the hostel as everytime have to come outside to connect on phones . Food is okay but please resolve network issue if possible as cannt go everytime outside to take calls. They would switched off Ac in dorms from 11am till 9 pm .

Pros - 1. Friendly staff 2. Homestyle food prepared by Dubey ji 3. Good overall environment Cons - 1. AC only runs from 10pm to 10am. No more no less. It is a bit difficult to sit in your dorm during summers. 2. Wifi could be improved.

The rooms and washrooms are unclean. Dorms are untidy and dirty too. The place is a residential area so you cannot go outside the area after 10 pm. No directions whatsoever. Had to walk for atleast 4 kms to find a way out. The staff is somewhat helpful.

I loved the vibe of this hostel. Everything exceeded my expectations, friendly staff, clean and safe environment ..facilities like community kitchen where u can cook ur own meal ,common area where u can watch Netflix. I would love to visit again.
