Taken here by a tuk tuk driver for tourist information. As soon as I walked in, I was uneasy about the place. Had five minutes with a chap who wanted to organise my week in India at massive cost. Told him I wanted to do my own thing and he turned nasty, calling me a psychopath. A charming gentleman..!! Please.... Do NOT use..!!

I’m sure that no one will go here after reading the online reviews, but in case you are thinking of doing so, DON’T. Nice people, but the trip cost me about 5x what it should have. Key is they catch people at the airport, which is a great way to run a scam. Gave them 2 stars because they are actually a legitimate business. That’s the only plus.

MASSIVE FRAUD ALERT Claimed they were the Delhi Government Tourism branch... yes, I know, should have known better than to fall for the scam, but it was very early AM, the train websites were about to close and they were keeping the pressure on. 100% fraud.

SCAM! AVOID! We went in trying to book 3 trains tickets only and the salesman/con artist tried to sell us extra train tickets plus accommodation, plus tours which would apparently cost us 36,000 rupees! He told us as the elections were on, the trains were busy and buses were being cancelled so there were special train tickets reserved for tourists but he would have to book accommodation etc in order to access them (ALL LIES!). He went from very nice and charming to nasty very quickly when we said this was far too expensive and we wanted the trains only. We said we would think about it and come back, at which point he tried to convince us further by saying he tickets would no longer be available then and we'd be at risk of not being out of India in time for our visa (SHAMELESS SCARE TACTICS). When we insisted we'd think about it, he told us to not bother coming back. FYI we got the exact 3 train tickets we wanted with absolutely no hassle from the travel desk at Hotel Gold Regency for 7000 rupees - take your money here instead.

I echo the other review. Manipulation, lies and over charging. I felt like I was a prisoner on the day trip they had force sold me due to their manipulation and lies. They hired me a driver for quadruple the cost it should have been.

Scammers, scammers, scammers! Avoid at all costs for your safety!!!! Was charged 3x the amount, bus unexpectedly dropped us off under a bridge in Agra without any explanation which cost us even more money (500 rupees) and then the tuk tuk asked for more money, bus AC broke on a 10 hour drive, 2 unexpected stops at an hour each stop and then the bus driver told us we would be dropped off in front of hotel instead we were dropped off at 3:30 am in the middle of the prison district to walk back to the hotel.... Horrible does not do this place justice! AVOID AT ALL COSTS! TERRIBLE, AWFUL, DESPICABLE PEOPLE! Run!!!!!

Please be careful when booking with Delhi Tours. I am unsure if multiple tour groups have the same name so I will add that disclosure. We were lied to, scammed, overcharged, and manipulated by Delhi tours. They seemed to struggle with the concept of women being able to take care of themselves and micromanaged everything we did. They booked us with a driver and did not allow us to make any decisions for our selves. It was like being a prisoner on a field trip, for way too much money. Do your research.

SCAM. We talked to (very friendly) Dan, who lied and told us our previously scheduled train was cancelled and offered to rebook our trip for an exorbitant cost. Dan showed us what he claimed was our cancelled train on an official railway website, which we then missed. Fortunately we were only out the cost of a train ticket and were able to find alternative transport, but this could have ended much worse for us. Two different people on the street told us to visit this office and that it was a not-for-profit, official government tourist office... beware.

Stay out of that office when you looking gor the official tourisme office in new Delhi, people will bring you to this office. Inthere , they offer you a smile and a real bad program, only you will find out on the way. We got bad rooms, waiting for hours next the telephone for solutions, wrong traintickets, overbooked traintickets. beeing located in agra on the day that Taj Mahal was closed .... It also looked that we where not the only one with complaints, when we where there there was one more couple who had bad experiance. After 2 hours complaining, we hear the first 'sorry'. then finally we got smal share of our money back.

Please do not use this organisation as they are scammers-they overcharge and will send you to volatile places just to earn money they do not offer any advice or support when tour destination is part of civil unrest ie Srinagar. They will grab you fresh off the plane when you are exhausted to scam you off your hard earned money. Tourists are seen as a meal ticket and nothing more. They will cancel your trip if you ask however they force you to book alternative and ignore you when you request a refund. They will make you pay for tours mainly with cash for taxes and the rest can then be put on your credit card. Total scam do avoid you can organise your own trip for half the price or cheaper.

SCAMMERS. If I could give this place minus 2 stars and 2 middle fingers I would. Most dishonest and shameful people. Do not use. Book everything yourself. You will pay 2x more than calling a car company and booking hotels online. Cheaters, liers, heathens.
