First of all it was difficult to find this place even with google maps. It’s located in a narrow lane. The food is very expensive for a place that offers no ambience or any AC facility. Yes it’s a very old cafe. But then it has not at all been maintained. I ordered a fruit sandwich and a pineapple shake. The sandwich was good but nothing extraordinary. And yes it was heavy, so two people can easily eat in a single plate. It mainly contained slices of mango. The pineapple shake was good. Overall this cafe was not worth the hype !

Amazing Fruit Sandwiches they provide. Quite inside near chawri bazar, a tiny dilapidated shack stands tall providing these evening snacks of sandwiches and hot beverages. No parking available. Vehicles cannot reach directly to the shop. One has to walk through, it's right opposite PNB ATM.

I goto this place always and remember it by the name of Jain sandwiches! Thankfully remembered the correct name now! Their sandwiches are mind blowing! Literally- their specialty is their chutney that they use with every sandwich. The owner is very down to earth and will make and serve you whatever you want it love. Must eat : Mix fruit sandwiches Pineapple sandwiches Malai toast Try mango sandwiches or their mango chutney ( that’s their hidden secret!)

This place is one of the hidden games of old deli you won't found find it easily. you have to take help from the google map to find this place because it situated inside a small allay near gujarati namkeen bhandar in chawri bazar. The sandwich prices 70 for the veg and 100 rupees for the fruit sandwich but one sandwich is equal to two layers of sandwich cut into half so if you are here for a lite meal then ask for half sandwich. the nearest metro station is Chawri Bazar its around 200 m away from that metro station

Taste is really good. But items are overpriced. The place is very difficult to locate. We tried mango sandwiches, mix fruit sandwiches and samosa sandwiches. All were really good. The only issue is pricing.

Jain Coffee House is one of the oldest shop in Chawri Bazar, Delhi-6. This outlet is famous for its fruit sandwiches and shakes. Mostly known for mixed Fruit sandwich. The best thing about this place is you can feel the old Delhi vibes at this place. The shop is still in the old style. The owner of the shop is so down to earth and they always serve the best quality always. They prepare your food/sandwiches or shakes in front of you. Prices are reasonable and worth the money.

This place is one of the hidden gems of Old Delhi. Locating it is a little bit difficult though. It's situated just opposite poddar cards street, chawri bazar. There's no name board or signage over there. It's just a normal tea stall and the ambience is just modest. However, the USP of this place is fruit sandwiches. I tried mango sandwich which was excellent. It contained mango, grapes and paneer slices along with jam. It's a unique sandwich which is not available anywhere else. I also had cold coffee which was just passable. Do try this place if you are in chawri bazar.

Jain Coffee House is located in chawri bazaar in old delhi. The nearest metro station in chawri bazaar. It is quite difficult to locate. The roads are congested and quite narrow to take your own vehicle. There is nothing unusual or special about the food here. The coffee is average also the menu is very limited.

Many people recommend it as a hidden gem but I didn't find it worth the hype. Located in a narrow lane, it was difficult to find the shop through Google maps. Don't visit if you are expecting it to be of having good ambience. There is neither AC nor any good sitting facility. The old shop seems never to have been renovated. The old benches definitely don't give a good vibe. The sandwiches aren't cooked, the filling is what makes the place reknown. Though, it was disappointing to find that eating overpriced sandwiches by going through all the hassle wasn't rewarding. Yes, sandwiches were of average taste. Won't be visiting this place again.

Fruit sandwiches are over hyped , Location of shop is extraordinary difficult for first timers , Jain brothers don't spend a penny on the shop maintenance, Walls have never been painted from 1947. You can make such sandwich at home easily don't spend 160 rs on it

Looks like an old 1960-70's place. Here you feel like time stopped since decades also not easy to find this place using Google maps inside a narrow street. In perspective of food, Sandwiches are rare, you couldn't find easily all around in Delhi, coffee is OK. Overall bit costly, you can give one try.

The fruit sandwiches and chais here are very good. It is the only place selling fruit sandwiches that I know of. The shop is very old, not fancy and the prices are good too. Pretty nice place if you are bored of fancy shops selling whatever

👍👍 Very tasty food. Its a must try item. The place is usually busy and crowded. But worth the wait i would say. Also they serve only half and full portions of chicken. Not too expensive for the quantity and quality. highly Recommended.
