Overrated Overpriced Very average food The ambience is decent, located inside the ambassador, Khan market. However not sure what makes this place popular amongst influencers. A tabloid like menu which also states the history of this place. The only thing which I liked about this is the demeanor of the staff. Doesn't deserve the hype it has gotten, definitely not for food. We ordered their signature dish- railway cutlets and I strongly feel that the original cutlets served at the railways taste better! Also mushroom soup was average. Mutton and rice was ordered too which failed to impress

The Sole had a relatively watery sauce . Spaghetti Carbonara was pretty good . Staff was more keen on serving Goras and Aristocrats . Taj needs to drop this property . Cold coffee was good.

Good food. Good ambience. Nice coffee. The service is allright. There's mosquitoes on the outside area specially at night. But overall the place has a good location, ample parking and good vibe.

Iconic place in existence for the last 20 odd years and still rocking. I still remember when it just started we were quite regular to this place as it was a great hangout for late night cravings. The food has been good throughout these years and the Chef is still the same ,Chef Vivek Malik who's no less than a Rockstar. I can still find him talking to people in the restaurant as if he is family to them. On my recent visit i got to know about their Winter Grill Menu which is in addition to the regular YBR menu. The sizzlers are a must try especially the Prawns and the Fish one. I just love their YBR chicken which is too good, the sauce atop the grilled chicken breast pieces is just delicious. For the desserts we can always have our all tim favourite Bulls Eye. Great service, awesome food and good pricing.

Had been meaning to try this place for a while but was it a disappointment! While the interiors are charming, the place is tiny and also serves as the breakfast place for the in-house guests, so it is packed. The food was below average and definitely overpriced. We were served a cold dosa. The Sunday brunch buffet spread was less than impressive with very few options. What a disappointment! It cost us ~INR 3200 for Sunday buffet for two people.

The staff in the hotel and restaurant are very courteous. The breakfast spread is really good and the food is filling. Definitely stop by here if you’re looking for a good place to eat. So much variety across cuisines. One of my favourite breakfast places.

This is happening at Yellow Brick Road, a restaurant where East and West meet. Young, old, men, women boys and girls dine together, a rare event you can witness only here. How such symphony could happen in a restaurant? This is around 80-year-old heritage property where celebrities met in the past ..now their legacy is vibrating on the dining table… Breakfast... Elevenses.. Lunch.. .High Tea..Dinner..preprandial or mid-night munching…You Go-Gaga. This food factory has been working around the clock to cater to the guest with untagged complimentary. They address a cuisine and it is tailor-made to suit one palate …That’s all.. the romance begins..Chinese, Thai, Indian, Continental, English Arabic ...name and have.. the kitchen, under the dynamic guidelines of Executive Chef Sanjiv Chopra, is ready to pamper while Inderpal Singh Bedi manager food and beverage, a bee buzzing around every customer with his mischievous smile will ensure that your fatty wallet turns thinner. Prakash bhatt supervisor attends you with a touch of love....Creativity dominates every nook and corner of yellow brick road … the display on the wall, menu card in the form of a tabloid which not only speaks about its gastronomic menu but also present thought-provoking articles related to attitude, a portion of complementary food for thought. Wow! creative Taj hospitality crews manufacture melting food to match all ages. Enter to encounter mulligatawny soup, an ambrosia to trigger the dinning mood followed by Kurkure Idli chat, a romance food born out of marriage between North and South a holistic meal with paneer ( Cottage cheese in Punjabi style) crispy okra in Indian style, spinach and corn kernel in Delhi style .. all well to go well with whole wheat Roti( Indian read) will satiate you while non-vegetarian the list is unlimited. Final top your system with Bull’s Eye, an irresistible dessert to sing a piece of mellifluous music till you hit the bed.. Come to chat, date, dine, dance and depart…

Had our new years day breakfast at YBR. Pretty much all the expected omelettes, idli dosa, puri chola and other options were there .. The salad counter had seeds, nuts missing though they were promptly provided upon request. The coffee tasted sub par...actually not worth it....I was quite surprised to find out that in plant based milk they offered only soy milk even though oat milk and almond are so commonly available at good cafes. The BF buffet was one can say economical......but I expected more .....

Yellow Brick Road ,just to let you know what a fantastic time we all had on Saturday night for my wife's birthday celebrations. Everyone commented on the wonderful food, one friend phoned earlier to say it is now her No.1 Restaurant and I must admit both my wife and myself feel the same too! Chef Sanjay presented the birthday cake which was a very good gesture. Prakash, Udit, Uma did great service. Every dish is delicious and presentation is top notch...try their Keema Pav....😋😋😋

I went to the restaurant yellow brick road and I didn’t like it. The fresh lime mix wasn’t mixed I could taste the salt. The food took time to come more than usual. The chairs wasn’t stitched which is a fashion option but I didn’t like it. Overall it is good but not that much.

Great place to have your breakfast/ branch meal. Variate menu. However as many local cafes, their coffee are very light and tasteless. The best one you can get from global chain such Starbucks

Yellow Brick Road is the Ambassador’s popular. We drop out for old time shake forscoops of the house favourire Bull’s Eye, a warm chocolate dessert topped with vanilla ice cream.......Ambience is modelled on a vintage theme and showcases retro posters. Resto decor accents inspired by the classic film, including a wooden train, the witch and Dorothy’s Lion

We took their late night dinner , it is open till 3am. The staff was very warm and helpful. The pasta was delicious. Loved the mixed sauce. However the mutton biryani was pretty average. Just didn't enjoy it that much. The pcs were chewy and the rice masala was nothing out of the ordinary. Probably better to try the burgers instead.

Extremely Over priced, below average food We ordered pasta el pesto, the sause did not taste good also the oil proportion was too much, made it too greasy to eat, And also ordered bacon ham masala omlette, was average. Definetly overpriced for the average food they served. Service was slow.it took them a long time to refill water despite asking twice

Great service provided by the staff there. Nupur, Sudeep and team. Honestly this hotel feels like a home away from home to me. And the restaurant is the perfect place to grab drinks and invite my friends when I’m in the city.

Been visiting this restaurant for over 2 generations. Lalaji and sons now run this Hotel with Taj Group of Hotels. Quality of food is perfect but taste is just ok... I find it a bit spicy. Better than all the restaurants in Khan Market for sure. The romato Soup I had was stale and tasted sour like tomato ketchup. Pasta was spicy but most Indians prefer it that way I guess. Some rowdy Lawyer sitting behind us was too loud and arrogant harassing Staff for no reason. Staff was too kind and courteous. Service is perfect.

Taj Ambassador, Gateway is perfectly situated near Khan Market. This hotel with its coffee shop, Larry's China and the once wonderful now HORRIBLY designed bar Insomnia ( fortunately the staff and quality of food and beverages are the same ) is a convenient meeting place. Despite the pandemic, the menu is still fairly extensive. What was heart breaking was to know that Chef Malik, with his gravelly voice, twinkling eyes, kindness and a tendency to make you things NOT on the menu was no more. He remembered what each person liked, not an easy thing with the turnover of customers. He would make FRESH upma past midnight and serve it up. His character infused the food he served. Am reminded of my great grandmother telling me that the person who gives you food and the WAY food is served matters! Chef Malik had a brain haemorrhage, not thankfully Corona. He must be in Heaven, made better with his culinary art! The owner the venerable Rajinder, who never failed to personally greet all guests is no more, victim to Corona. Rest in peace dear people. Will always miss you.

2,000 bucks for a celebration menu burger that was hardly better than one from a school canteen.

We ordered soup specifically asking for no spice for health reasons, they provided us with spicy soup justifying it by saying "it's not that spicy and that we should be able to handle it" Moreover we ordered a bowl of mixed fruit, and they provided us with a plate with ~ 8 little pieces of watermelon and 4 pieces of pineapple. I feel it is overpriced with reference to the quality of the food.

The ambience is quite old as of now, In it's time the food used to be great but they have degraded the quality now. They did not meet my expectations, the food is flawless but there's nothing special about it. There's nothing wrong in visiting this expensive 5 star place but I won't recommend it either

Memories of older visits relived..., staff were courteous... Food was nice... ambassador hotel itself didn't look too great...maybe some renovations are needed... The entry didn't have the same luxurious vibe as before...

The place is small and always full. Visited there only for the reasons of nostalgia. Had a club sandwich, but was not happy with the quality, have had better sandwich at other places. Disappointed 😐Would not recommend for special visits.. Khan market close by has better options than this for continental food.

In the last decade at least once a year we used to visit this place to celebrate some occasion or the other. Nice place, pleasant ambience, ample space , excellent food. Those were pre-covid days . Yesterday after a couple of years we went back. Biggest tolls taken by Covid has been around 80-120% increase in price , reduction of experienced manpower , replaced by inexperienced trainees and shocking service not commensurate with TATA image. Bottomline is at least for the next couple of years we are not coming back.

Visited the restaurant on my 50th birthday (26 Feb) with a hope of having a good time. Had my in-laws and friends in company. Unfortunately that was not the case. The starters we ordered were masala idli and chicken tikka. After the order we waited for 15 mins then were told that the idli dish was not available. Till now we had spent 20+ mins and no one bothered to even offer water so much for famous taj hospitality. Finally we requested for the water to be provided. Chicken tikka however was good and can be tried. Main course we ordered included grilled fish, spaghetti carbonara, pizza passionara and mutton biryani. While fish and spaghetti were good. Pizza and mutton biryani were atrocious. Mutton biryani was more like khichdi and totally bland. While the steward agreed that mutton biryani even looked bad the chef (Vishwa) insisted that was how it was different from other places. Biryani tasting and looking like khicdi and then being told that’s how taj does it. Really beats me. Finally the service was awful . No stewards or servers were there people around waited for their dishes to arrive and this with hardly any crowd in the restaurant. What a waste of time, money and occasion. I would have been better off visiting street side dhaba Atleast the food would have been better.

YBR was gracious enough to recall my mother's 91st birthday celebration of the previous year and stand us a wonderful chocolate cake and vanilla ice-cream on the house. We found the penne arabiatta good, and the YBR chicken very good too

Our hopes of dinning was dashed to irritation as the dinning table spread. The food was cold, insipid, unexpected from A ##### star hotel restaurant of decades old. The crockery did not fit for for all of us. Small table with closely untidy sitting arrangements. The best was to move out but with guests, it becomes improper & time consuming. Yes.... The crockery was of different size.... Attendent asked me.. Sahibb .. Yeh chaleigee.. He meant.. A different size.. Decide for yourself... Nearby are The Taj & Claridges... You may have to pay the same or less... But it is the experience that matters & not money.. After all... It is ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ One is visiting...
