It's not a place to be without the President's personal invitation. For, on every other visit you'll be gazed at and gawked on with unwelcoming and scrutinizing eyes. There's a good view of not so rectilinear lines meeting the roof of the India gate arch. Monkeys live here and they can be aggressive be careful about the feral monkeys.

Host to the world-famous Beating Retreat, Vijay Chowk is a square where people gather to enjoy the architecture of colonial buildings and the lush green gardens around India Gate. It also hosts one of the entrances to the President House of India and is a famous get-together point of cyclists, runners, and bikers in the morning. Wide roads and green surrounding, symbol of supremacy, fun to drive the car from India gate, approachable from south , central and west Delhi, Rashtrapati bhavan looks unique in the night

Nobody in the world can not say after seeing this area that they don’t love this beautiful place. It is so fresh absolutely clean . Very wide roads. Lot of plants and trees. The central fountain adds special beauty to it. You feel like a VIP moving on this road. In heart of Delhi Lutyens Delhi India.

Historic place. You would have seen in many movies and also in parades like Independence day parade and Republic Day parade. This is where Indian president lives.

I have been visiting this place for the last 10 years. Spending time in the evening especially in winters makes it awesome. You won't necessarily need someone to accompany you to spend time here. You can enjoy your own company and spend time in silence with yourself. Lights of Rashtrapati Bhawan and parliament are iconic. Fountains are cheery on a cake. Waiting for a long duration is not allowed anymore. So you can visit, wait for a while and then you may have to go due to security issues. I hope this information may be helpful. Enjoy

There is no doubt that this the most spectacular place in Delhi. I reached here nearly 1 am in the night and sat here in the park in front of the Rashtrpati Bhawan entrance and I was seeing these things and the time just passed by. The lights which were glowing at the bottom of the pillars looks like they giving life to the building. The cross lights which were going at the top of the building makes the building looks like the heaven on the earth. The lamps on the border wall, the red marbles and the palace like view is just awesome. These views are the one of the most satisfying and spectacular views. Must pay a visit specially in night. You will just love it.

It is on one end of Rajpath, on Raisina hills. It is the host ground of world - famous 'Beating Retreat' ceremony which is held every year on 28th of January marking the end of days long processions of the Republic Day celebrations 🎉🎊🍾 . It is the square from which Rajpath heads straight towards the India Gate. Vijay Chowk is the square where people gather around to enjoy 😊😊😊 the colonial era British 🇬🇧 💂 architectures and wel maintained lush green 🟢🟢🟢 gardens running along both sides of Rajpath til to the India Gate. Roads are so wide, smooth and with so beautiful 😍✨❤ scenery that people love ❤❤❤ to drive 🚘🚘🚘 a car 🚘🚘🚘 from this point to India Gate. Early birds can spot such a nice 😊 gathering of runners 🏃💨, walkers 👣 🚶, cyclists 🚲, joggers etc. Rising Sun ☀️ 🌇 is so beautiful ✨✨✨ that it catches the eyes 👀 . Being at this place at such a time ⌚ seems a dream 😴💭. At Republic Day of India 🇮🇳 this place gets dressed 👗 like a newly bed bride 👰 and when the ceremony starts it's beauty ✨ grows even better.

👍 Luckily there was very little crowd on Sunday. The lounge is one of the biggest in Indian airports. There is an elite lounge beside this and this is termed premium (ideally for economic class).
