Beautiful park full of flowering greens, an absolutely stunning lake with ducks and an ancient monument to entice historians and common folk alike. Points to Note: Entry is completely free. Has a dedicated car parking bay but it’s tucked away alongside the Africa Avenue Main Road. For those whose wish to go on a trail of sorts, the park does connect to the neighbouring Hauz Khas Village.

Perfect place to visit for spending atleast 3 to 4 hours with friends and also a god place for morning walk having few gym facilities also. So much silent place to get peace of mind, there is a Lake inside the park which contains different type of water animals. Different type of unseen plants, grass and trees are also there. U can also click pictures with amazing background... Not so far from hauz khas metro station... U can reach easily within 10 minutes after exit from hauz khas metro station by taking cab or auto.. Located approximately 2-3 kilometres from hauz khas metro station or sarvapriya vihar (DTC BUS STOP)... HAUZ KHAS is also adjacent to this park...

It is the epicenter of Delhi’s most vibrant social life. In the spring and winter evenings, visitors can stroll along the lake, watch the beautiful sunset from the ruins of the fort or sip a cocktail at one of the many rooftop bars and restaurants.

This place is great for couples and if you want to actually see some nature, The environment is a little bit messy. The nature around is actually very pleasant and the view is fascinating and if you are afraid of bats , you should be careful because the park has a full scale population of the bats around and everywhere there are other kinds of animals but it would a better surprise if you visit there 😜. It is emaculate and wonderful for a group picnic and a couple adventure there can be obvious improvements but the overall

This park is also known as Deer Park, located with Hauz Khas Fort and Hauz Khas Lake. Due to nearby pubs and bars this is one of the most attractive visiting side for young people and if you visit here you will see many. Park is good constructed and looks really beautiful but on weekends it's very crowded. Water in Lake is clean but green.

This park always is and will be the best park in new Delhi for me. Imagine your parents coming there with and when you yourself a parent bringing your child with you. Super clean and spacious gaurds at gate as well as inside. (But people bring dogs here without collar or muzzle I don't that's allowed or not)

Hauz Khas District Park, located in the bustling Hauz Khas neighborhood of New Delhi, is a verdant oasis that offers respite from the city's chaos. As an avid nature lover, I found the park to be a tranquil haven where I could reconnect with nature and enjoy moments of peace. Spread across a sprawling area, Hauz Khas District Park boasts lush green lawns, vibrant flowerbeds, and a diverse range of trees that create a refreshing atmosphere. Walking along the well-maintained pathways, I was greeted by the soothing sounds of chirping birds and the gentle rustling of leaves, which added to the park's serene ambiance. The park's centerpiece is the picturesque Hauz Khas Lake, a historic water body that dates back to the 14th century. The shimmering waters of the lake reflect the surrounding greenery and make for a stunning sight. Boating facilities are available, allowing visitors to paddle across the tranquil waters and soak in the beauty of their surroundings. Hauz Khas District Park also offers various recreational amenities. Fitness enthusiasts can take advantage of the jogging tracks and open spaces for workouts, while families can enjoy picnics on the well-manicured lawns. There are dedicated play areas for children, equipped with swings, slides, and other fun activities, ensuring a memorable experience for visitors of all ages. One of the park's highlights is its proximity to the historical Hauz Khas complex. After spending time amidst nature, visitors can explore the nearby ancient monuments, including the Hauz Khas Fort and the iconic Deer Park. This seamless integration of history and nature adds an extra layer of charm to the park, making it an ideal destination for both leisurely strolls and cultural exploration. While the park is generally well-maintained, it can get crowded during weekends and evenings. To fully enjoy the tranquility, I recommend visiting during weekdays or early mornings when the park is relatively quieter. In conclusion, Hauz Khas District Park is a delightful escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Its lush greenery, scenic lake, and recreational facilities make it an ideal spot for nature lovers, fitness enthusiasts, and families seeking a peaceful retreat. Whether you want to indulge in a leisurely walk, have a picnic, or simply unwind amidst nature, this park offers a serene and rejuvenating experience that is worth exploring.

Love this park. The atmosphere here is amazing. It looks the best during sunsets. Love going here for workouts or simply an evening walk. Dogs are allowed here so we see many people bringing their pets for walks as well. They have playing areas for children. They also have gym equipments with and without weights. There are many cafe's and bar nearby the lake.

I and my family loved this place. Very beautiful lake well maintained by the MCD. You will found lots of couple hanging around, I will suggest to visit this on Sunday Evening so you will find some families also. Because most of the time it's best for couples. Some of the orthodox mentality can be disturbed. It's a beautiful place. You will find your self in midst of nature. Car Parking is available near by. So its a good hanging around place. You can go via metro, bus, auto and taxi. It's well connected via transport.

The Hauz Khas Fort, situated near the Hauz Khas Village is known for its amazing architecture. Once a majestic fort, all that remains of it are the ruins of the medieval era. The fort was constructed during the reign of Alauddin Khalji in the 13th century. The magnificent corridors of the Hauz Khas Complex offer a delightful view of the royal water tank, which was used to supply water to the inhabitants of the medieval city - Siri. The complex houses an ancient mosque and madrasa that overlook the water tank. The lush green lawns neighbouring the restored lake attracts many photographers and makes it a perfect spot for family picnics. Timings 10:30 am - 7:00 pm (Open All Days)

Fabulous place to spent time here with foreign dogs. And nice for taking sunbath after swimming in the pond. All crocodiles are amazing here.. looks like an elephant. And whole park is full of awesome fish. Zebra are also good here used for crossing the road. Bulls are looking similar to deers. All creatures are mind-blowing. Last but not least dancing frogs are too good they are most similar to human.

Where you can click a bunch of photos and shoot some videos Crowd is pretty much less between 4-5 in the evening Entry fees per person is Rs 25 There is nothing much too explore, however if you plan on spending time with your loved one then I would recommend it. During my recent visit to Delhi, I stumbled upon a hidden gem that instantly stole my heart: Hauz Khas District Park. Nestled amidst the vibrant city, this serene oasis provided a much-needed escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. It became my personal sanctuary, where I could immerse myself in nature's embrace and find solace in its tranquil beauty. As I entered the park, the sight of the picturesque lake took my breath away. The shimmering water reflected the surrounding greenery, creating a mesmerizing vista that instantly calmed my senses. Walking along the well-maintained pathways, I found myself lost in the symphony of birdsong and the gentle rustling of leavesβ€”a blissful soundtrack that seemed to wash away all worries. I reveled in the park's abundant flora and fauna, encountering vibrant lotus flowers blooming gracefully in the water and a myriad of bird species gracing the sky. Spotting a kingfisher perched on a branch or a colorful parakeet flitting by felt like glimpses into a magical world, reminding me of the beauty and diversity that thrives in nature's realm. Exploring the park's historical remnants was like taking a journey through time. The medieval Islamic seminary and the ancient tomb stood as silent witnesses to the rich heritage of the area. I couldn't help but imagine the stories and lives that unfolded within these ancient walls, connecting me to the past in a profound way. However, to fully savor the park's serenity, I discovered that weekdays and early mornings were the best times to visit. The park can get crowded on weekends, but during my weekday visit, I found a sense of tranquility that was simply enchanting. Hauz Khas District Park became my haven, my personal escape where I could recharge and reconnect with nature's wonders. Its serene ambiance, captivating views, and touch of history made it an experience that I will forever cherish. If you're seeking a peaceful retreat in the heart of Delhi, I wholeheartedly recommend immersing yourself in the beauty of Hauz Khas District Park.

A must to visit place. Hauz khas fort is amazing and lake view is also superb. One thing I disliked is that there there people are so much ignorant that they have done everything to damage such a beautiful heritage sites. You can find various useless adolescent love stories engraved so badly on the walls. We should respect our heritage sites.

This place is popular for walking, jogging and weekend outings. Deer Park comprises many subsections such as Duck Park, Picnic Spots Rabbit Enclosures etc. The park is accessible fromΒ Safdarjung EnclaveΒ andΒ Green park, Hauz khas village. You can reach here by taking auto from Hauz Khas metro station or Green park metro station. This park is operated and maintained by DDA. It is called Deer Park because it actually houses a large number of deer inside the park. There is a large enclosure in the park for deer to roam around, play with each other, have an occasional friendly fight and provide a learning and entertaining experience to the visitors especially the children. Entry to the Deer Park and the surrounding green park is free and it is open everyday from 5:00 AM to 8:00 PM during summer till October and 5:30 AM to 7:00 PM during winter. PS: It will be closed on Friday for visitors. Plan your visit accordingly.

Best destination to connect with nature and the evening view is very beautiful. If you coming from Metro so take a auto from metro station and reach your destination. They are not taking any extra charges on it only 20 to 30 rs rent for every person. So don't need to book any cab and auto. Don't go to Hauz khas fort their is nothing to see. Only take ticket for this park. In this winter season, this is the best place to go for a trip and best part this place is in Delhi and also have a metro station. So come and enjoy the Hauz khas park and fort. This place is not so much expensive so easy to visit. In This winter season their weather is so cold and the coldness is giving us a great feel to enjoy their. Best destination to connect with nature and the evening view is very beautiful. As went late so didn't get more better pics (do go and see urself). So, I guess everybody knows about this place, how nice this place is. It got a lot, a lottt better when I went, a long back more than a decade. So it improved a lot. Lakes are now pretty clean (not saying there completely clean but better than long back) and yes there are fountains now. Looked pretty amazing to see that. The lake has lots and lots of ducks..so amazed to see them when they were diving. Didn't get to see everything as was shortage of time. But yes, its pretty cool place to visit and have a nice walk under the loving nature. There are lots of monkeys but they dont harm ( from what I observed at that time), there were peahens, deers,..and a lot more to see. The site is nice to see( old structure).
