In a metro packed with vehicles and honks ecohing even in midnight- this nursery is a gift from Mother Nature! Beautifully crafted and maintained- gives insight into Indian history. With fallen petals adorning the grass every few steps like gems in ornaments...the quality of air one gets to breathe is balm on lungs- I concluded! there are weekend flea markets in winters- selling organic groceries and food. There are swings and food vans for picnic like day. Just a long silent walk through the Sundar nursery could declog mind and heart! The garden is absolutely a place to cool down with the view it offers. The track is good for walkers and joggers. Historically speaking ,the monuments that offered the bridge between Humayun and Mughals are there and now the beauty of the park maintained well around it gives a pleasent experience to the people who come to roam with all flora and fauna and the colorful scenes .The lake adds to the calm of the place. A must visit if you havnt. Birds, butterflies and flowers, blue sky and greenery is definately a chill pill. Can even organise cultural events in the amphitheatre of it . Pond containing lotus flowers also there . Some transcripts carved out of stone in urdu written on monuments to give a culture experience too. Nature and culture going hand in hand is a total bliss.

I visited Sunder Nursery twice. First I went in 2019, it was new, many people don't even know about it. It was beautiful, serene & healing. Then I went there on Sunday(20 Feb) with my friend. She didn't know about this place, and to be honest, the first time I didn't explore the garden much. But this time, we spent almost 5-6 hours exploring this hidden beauty. Surprisingly this time the garden was full of people, they came to enjoy a family picnic, some were celebrating their birthdays, some anniversary. Also, there is a cafe inside this nursery and a kid's corner. The food at the cafe was okay as compared to the high rates. The entry ticket is Rs.50 for Indians and in the kid's corner, there is a separate Rs.20 ticket Inside the nursery. This is a perfect place for a family picnic, for a day out with your partner or friends & even for a loner date. :-)🌼

It is a very serene and calm place to spend time with your friends. It’s a huge park with ample of old monuments with placards displaying the their information. It is a dog/pet friendly park where you can bring your furry pals for a all long walk which they would love! Depending on the season, one can catch various flowers there. And being a huge open space, everyone sort of gets their own privacy. On weekends it is very crowded, so it’s best avoided at that time. Bring your own drinks and eatables as there is only one cafe there and it is very pricey and the food is below average. This park has an a minimal entry ticket. If you ever happen to visit Delhi, do give this park a visit. Also, nearest metro station would be Khan market from where you can easily find autos for this place.

A quaint yet lively place full of greenery, flowers, good vibes. This is a picturesque place where you can go out for picnic for friends and family. They allow outside food. You can sit by the lake and enjoy the cool breeze while enjoying yourself swinging on the swings. You can order food via zomato as well or eat from food cart here.there is also a cafe by the lake . Its pretty spacious and also have an amphitheatre. I loved the vibe here. Best you go here in the month of March itself as there is plethora of variety of flowers blooming right now.

Largely spread green area with variety of plants, trees with monument and ruins in the campus. Entry Charge - ₹50 per person. Kids area charge- ₹20 per person(additional) 1 lake side cafe is running inside the premises with good ambience. Food stalls also available for refreshment. Toilets are located nearby to refreshments area. Perfect place for picnic with family. Also good place for couples to hang out if they are looking for little privacy. Overall experience- Good

Perfect for a cute date or a picnic. I love this place . Except that they can do efforts to keep the waters clean, due to stagnation you don't want to be around man made ponds or whatever you call them. They have a huge swing which adds to fun. Sunsets can be enjoyed here. The cafe inside Fab Cafe - lake side cafe looks so good in pictures but I didn't quite like it, they need to work on menu. Also it's a perfect place to go because unlike other gardens in Delhi which close around 5-6 Pm, this garden stays open till 10:00 Pm so ya 🥂🙌🏻🍩

It is one of my favourite spot for picnic. It has a lake along which you can sit and spend quality time with your family and friends. People usually bring food of their own, food delivery is also available on this spot for eg. Pizza etc. I usually visit during Christmas week, so I attend carnival which does not charge extra. You can bring your pets, board games, utilities etc. It is a very neat and tidy place with lots of dustbins on walkable distance.

Nice and scenic place. You can enjoy a picnic with your family on any sunny day here. The park has beautiful monuments, lakes, lush green and well maintained gardens , beautiful flower valleys and fountains. It also has a food van for snacks and an affluent cafe that is called "Fab Cafe" . A great place to visit in the time of Feb-March. You can bring your pets, food and other items if you wish too for a day out. A nice scenic and hidden gem which is approachable from any part in Delhi.

It is one of best attractions address recently to Delhi's tourist places. Very good for kids specialy. It has bigger slides, huge swings, smalls up and down hill structure, some tunnel and puzzle structures. Best attraction is small zip line for kids. Some turbine circles are also there. Entry ticket is Rs 20, one adult can accompany one kid.

Incredibly great place. Way too beautiful, well maintained and really a fun place to visit. Visited in once and made an incredible great memory. A good place to even visit some friends or to take a girl on a date. 😁 Will definitely visit this soon. Better to visit at evening time due to hot weather but it's a hidden gem of Delhi.

This is a lovely place to have a picnic with your friends and family. Since it's an open place, summers can be tough but would be great in winters. There are ponds and fountains and ducks. It's well made and has gorgeous infrastructures. Very aesthetic and food is allowed of course so that's a +1. We celebrated a friend's birthday and the whole vibe of the place made the day 100 times more special. Nothing can beat a good old picnic style party here. The only drawback is the washrooms. They are mostly non-functional with no water even when the tickets are priced at 50 rs. per head. Also, Fab cafe is absolutely over-priced and over-hyped. Not worth it at all.

Visited here for the first time here. Entry charges are applicable and prices vary for adults & kids. Very nominal charges. Now about the place - The place is very very beautiful and so well maintained. The place has old monuments inside which you can visit and take as many pictures you want. If you're looking for a family get together or just want to have a nice pleasant walk with nature, you must visit here. If possible avoid Sunday as it was pretty crowded. One can buy variety of plants from here except on Sundays. You can carry your sports equipments like Badminton, Cricket bat & ball, Boomerang or any other. The best part is that pets too are allowed inside so you don't have to worry about leaving them at home. Washrooms are available too & are nice & clean. This is a perfect place to relax, walk, rejuvenate & have a nice time overall. Will visit again to practice yoga this time to make cool videos 😀

Found this amazing place near Nizamuddin East. Wonderful place for a picnic. It was quite crowded when we went but nevertheless it is a great place to spend time with family. The place has a wide variety of flowers and plants and there is ample of space to sit. The food options are limited as there is only one outlet which had a wait time of over an hour.

Review Date: 18/11/2023 Visit Time: 08:30 AM (Solo Trip) Ticket Price: 50 Rs. (If you live nearby, you can also apply for Yearly/ Quarterly pass. As of now it costs 3K for yearly individual pass) Parking: Paid parking available for both Cars and Bikes. Crowd: It was minimal upon entry, but as the day progresses, more people and tourists arrive, making it slightly crowded. Preferred time to visit: As early in the morning as possible. A very beautiful, calm, and serene place. Possibly one of the best escapes from the city hustle and bustle in Delhi; at times, you forget you are still within Delhi. It's a vast area with different types of trees, plants, and flowers. Numerous fountains enhance the ambiance, and as you explore deeper, you encounter ponds with beautiful lotus flowers, accompanied by the soothing sound of falling water—truly calming. I also spotted many peacocks and a few species of birds along with bees during my visit. Additional points: a) Multiple washrooms are available inside. b) Fab Cafe inside Sunder Nursery near the lake opens around 08:00 AM. c) Smaller stalls open from 10:00 AM, offering snacks, tea, and coffee. I tried the black coffee, fairly good for the price (50 Rs.). d) You can plan a picnic and bring your own food. e) I have seen many people walking their dogs so I am assuming/ fairly sure dogs are allowed. Sharing few pictures 🫡

Amazing place for nature and architecture lovers. Here you can enjoy a view of a green lush garden with lots of colourful flowers and plants. Here old beautiful structures are present try to go there in the evening so that you can enjoy the lighting at the main fountain as night falls. It is too beautiful and photogenic. It is a perfect place to plan a picnic with your family and friends. So have some food with music enjoy there. You can have some coffee and food option with only one of the card present their. Their coffee aroma is too good to resist. Some points to be noted that please avoid to take games like cricket, football and badminton saw their guard restricting people due to chances that it might hurt flowers their .

Wonderful park for day out..you can enjoy nature at its best. Nice and very clean place to chill at. Walk around the park, sleep under a tree,it's the perfect place. Entry fee is 25 Rs for locals, 200 Rs for foreigners, I would still consider that a fairly reasonable price. There are free water stations, clean public bathrooms and a good restaurant at the end of the park - a bit pricey, but clean and good food..you can also bring food from outside, and enjoy with your group..surprisingly there are no monkeys in the park..ideal place to visit..Make sure to also visit Humayun's tomb across the street

Serene place. Ideal for a picnic with friends and family. Do carry your mat and chairs and few games if you're planning to visit. The entry is not free and you're charged Rs. 40 to enter. Apart from that the food is really costly, so carry your own stuff if you're not planning on spending much. You'll occasionally spot peacocks and tiny rainbows. Worth a visit.

Very beautiful place. It has organic products small section, where we can buy organic veggies and hand woven mask, organic cotton clothes etc. Entry ticket is rs.40/person. And parking is also available which is rs100. And for a person of age 60 or more, the tickets are half the price. We saw a peacock as well, and plucked two-three guavas from the trees. It was beautiful with a lot of different types of flowers, there were swings as well. Beautiful place for a picnic. Has a coffee/tea shop and there are also a few tables and chairs arranged for people who can not sit on the grass. Benches and dustbins are available all over. It is also DOG FRIENDLY.

It is a very beautiful place in the middle of the city. It provides an option to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city into a quiet and refreshing nook. The Aga Khan Trust has done an excellent job in renovating and restoring this historical spot. There are lakes, gardens, kids' play area, vegetable garden, lots of space to walk around and admire the squirrels, pigeons, butterflies, peacocks and so many other things. It's perfect for a morning walk or picnic. It even offers a small amphitheater for those who want to hold programs here.

The verdant expanse that is Sunder Nursery garden is worth visiting for a well spent leisurely late afternoon, even if it is not winter. These last few days of August in Delhi can be really sultry, and also somewhat unpredictable in terms of the possibility of rains. Still, as soon as the sun goes down, the garden cools down as well; and the generous greenery with majestic trees and frequent water bodies help make it even more pleasant and peaceful. The nursery itself is closed on Sundays and holidays but the garden is open everyday from 7 am to 7 pm. Parking is inside the garden and it costs Rs 75-100 for 4 hours, depending on the day of the week. And if you feel hungry from all that walking and lazying around, head for the fabulous FabCafe! But how is it? Well, for that, you've got to read a separate review:)

    >Entry ticket is worth 40rs. > LOCATION: easy to reach; the site is beautiful, clean and well-maintained and contains MONUMENTS, KIDS PLAY-AREA, PONDS and FLOWER BEDS. An ORGANIC MARKET is also organized on Sundays where you can buy vegetables, eggs, and even clothes. >DOG-FRIENDLY. You'll find many birds and peacocks. >Badminton🏸 , cricket 🏏 and some other sports are officially NOT PERMITTED so you'll either be asked to submit your racquets at the entry or you might just get lucky like we did! (Avoid going late on weekend evenings as the park gets extremely crowded by then.)

I loved this place so much more than Lodhi Garden. Lodhi Garden is nothing compared to this beauty. It's a good environment and the overall atmosphere here is a mix of calm and serenity with a little hustle bustle of the usual crowd. But it's still very peaceful. I recommend.👍

Well worth a visit if you are in Delhi. The garden is nice with a geometrical pattern, Persian influenced though not a lot of shade. Beware if you are going during the summer months, it's very hot and there isn't much shade. Make sure to bring plenty of water with you.

I have attended multiple events at this place and these are my following observations: 1. The place is like a very well maintained lush green garden. It's extremely clean and green. 2. You can come here for a picnic with your family, with friends for fun and even alone if you prefer it. 3. They have a few carts where you can buy things to eat but one thing which surprised me is the cost of a water bottle. They are selling a water bottle for Rs. 100. I think it's a disgrace to charge this much for a water bottle of 1 litre. 4. I have attended a fest and a book launch event here and I had a pleasant experience. 5. I will recommend this place to anyone who wants to spend time away from the traffic and pollution of Delhi.

Although the challenge was to get inside the facility because of traffic choas but once we enter the facility it's a very smooth transition from one zone to another. It's perfect outdoor space for large family & friends gathering. It is delight for people interested in landscape & plantation as they also have a nursery which offer plants at very reasonable rates. It provide a perfect blend of visual delight & recreation space for every individual.

This place is good to go to with your family and friends because It's a park where you can actually go for a picnic as well, this nursery is just behind the Humayun Tomb. In this place, the ticket for an adult is 40 ₹ each, this place covers, fountains, a small lake, and a different "Tomb" to roam around and to take amazing pictures. Also, with the fabulous tomb and pillars and other stuff , you will get a good vibe of beautiful trees and different plants , this place is good to visit at least once so, don't think to much to come to this place . This place open Up to around 6.30 pm in the evening . Thank for reading the review. Hope you will enjoy this place .

Nice, beautiful and very big park. Entry fee 50rs for adult, 25 rs for 5-12 years old and free for below 5 yrs. Car Parking available inside sunder nursery park. A lot of parking spot, but on weekend will be full, so you need to go all the way near the lake to find available parking space. Parking fee is 100rs for 1-4 hrs. When you enter the park using car, you will pay persons entry ticket and parking ticket at the entry gate. Very beautiful park, well manage, and perfect place for relaxing picnic. Don't forget to bring your own foods. Foods also available at some food stall or cafe nearby lake, but not so many choices. Here also have playhouse, playground for kids, the game/play is good and kids will love it. Have big swing, tree house and rope walking, mini maze, slides, and also sand play area.

Great place to hangout at any time of a day! A lovely place for picnics for hangout with your friends! You can go with your dogs too! It always has a great atmosphere. I loved the place, if you are someone who appreciates nature and would like to hangout at a peaceful place This is the spot for you! Entry ticket is of 50rs per person. Last entry is at 9:30 and the Nursery closes at 10! Most ideal time would be the afternoons in winter and evenings in summer!

My family and I went there on a warm afternoon since the air is so relaxing. There, we have the nicest time. The surroundings and the air are quite clean. The guards were stationed at the entrance and exit to direct people. The water was lovely. Ducks and fish are present. Amazing flowers, trees, and greenery surround us. Many families could be seen having fun with their children.

I've been here twice and am not bored of this beautiful beautiful place. It is very well maintained and a perfect place for picnics, hangouts, etc. It has enough options for snacks and drinks. Just do not litter.. If you want less crowd prefer weekdays. The crowd is also filtered as this facility is paid.

It is a beautiful garden. It has a small lake, some tombs, a peacock garden, an amphitheater and clean green lawns. It’s perfect spot for families to go for picnic. There are huge clean green lawns. One can carry food items, drinks, sheets etc. They charge a nominal fee of Rs. 50 per person. Only downside is the food cafe there is quite expensive and carries minimum options so better to carry own foods specially if going with kids.

Visited Sunder Nursery Heritage Park. After entering into the park you'll forget the outer City crowd. Perfect place to be with your family and friends. You can have a day picnic here. Truly scenic beauty. Must recommend to go and have a peaceful day in our busy life.

Probably one of the few places in Delhi, where you can search for your peace and quiet (but not on weekends). A huge stretch of park, with beautiful flora and fauna to sooth your soul and take a break from your buzy life. It gets overcrowded on weekends and then you might struggle to find adequate toilets and space. The park otherwise is very beautiful and probably the best places in Delhi for a day out with family and friends.

Nice experience. Must visit the Sunday organic bazar as well. Go early in the day to enjoy the whole place. Fab cafe is a bit overrated for the waiting in store for you, specially on weekends. Take the next parking lot for your vehicle, as it takes you directly inside the park and the Sunday bazar.

This place is heaven in delhi. You can find peace here. The entry fee for adults and children above 12 is ₹40 which is affordable. You can have good time here. You can also have picnic with friends and family here. Washrooms are clean. There are so many varieties of flowers. One limitations of this place is that you can take any sports related thing inside the park. I went there to have picnic with my friend and play badminton. Unfortunately the rackets were deposited there.

A great and open space where the gardens are well-manicured, the fountains are a delight, and there are a couple of cafes too. In short, if you're sick of staying indoors and need a break from visiting closed spaces like malls and theatres, Sunder Nursery is the place to be. However, it can get very crowded on weekends and there may be parking issues, so you are advised to visit it by public transport.

A lovely monarchy to hang around with loved one or without anyone , I wanna visit again for its modern and historical approach that enhance overall aestheticness of this place. Imagination of man made water bodies are consously designed. Sound of the motion of water creates freedom for the urban folk. 'Go get your self' kinda vibe make anyone nostalgia for the place . I ll take myself on a date soon , I wanna gaze those beautiful birds and trees.

Beautiful place but entry is not free. Rs. 40/- per head entry. Rs. 100/- for a car (4 hrs). Some shocking rules by the authorities although it's a Heritage park and the property of GOI but ruled by Aga Khan Trust. Illogical rules are - Pets are allowed but human kids are not allowed to play any sport in the park. You can make videos or click photos but Tripod is not allowed. Tracks are made but cycling is not allowed.

A paradise for photographers. Nature at its best can be explored here in Delhi. We enjoyed chasing the peacocks, butterflies and walking in wilderness. The rose garden side is beautiful and the fabcafe by the lake is another feather of this place. Children's play area is attractive but everywhere little swings hanging from trees bring out the child in any adult.

Beautiful, well maintained green lawns and water bodies. Flowers, chirping birds, clean air, innumerable trees, clean washrooms, free drinking water. Lots of place for kids to play and one of the very few public places /parks in Delhi that allows pets! You can enjoy nature and take long walks away from the bustle and pollution of the city or jog or have a family picnic. And if you get tired you can get a foot, head or neck massage for 20 minutes at Rs. 250/. Please do try as the masseurs are from the blind school, partially blind but very well trained and most polite. There are some snack trucks and Fab cafe and quite often events are going on so you can find yummy food too. Humayun's tomb is walking distance and not far is Purana quila. I never get tired of this place.

Very beautiful place to spend a peaceful day away from the loud polluted city. Beautiful old Mughal architecture buildings and lots of greenery to enjoy a picnic in the grass at one of the buildings or at the pond/lake. There is also a small stall which supplies warm and cold drinks as well as snacks. If you don’t like sitting in the grass don’t worry, there are also plenty of banks. Definitely recommended for youngsters, families , and anybody . Everybody would love this place and it should definitely become more popular. Entry is 50 Rupees for person.

There is a place inside Sunder Nursery named Mughal Pavilion where the author session was held with Devdutt Patnaik ji. I had gone to attend the same session. I liked the Mughal Pavilion very much, especially that place is the best for such events because there was no noise or hustle and bustle there. If you want to live peacefully amidst the sound of birds, a Sundar nursery is the best place. The Sundar nursery is spread on a large scale, so it is easy to find a place of peace and quiet. There is also a small pond on the banks of which people enjoy picnic. There are many food trucks for eating and drinking, in which you will get more non-veg options and there is also a cafe named Fab India which is over expensive. Along with washroom facilities, there is also drinking water facility. Talking about ticket, per person ticket is 50rs. The parking area is quite big.

6november.2023The place was super crowded.. But I am attribute that to the fact that the weather was conducive to families and groups enjoying the Delhi spring. The place was like a spring paradise, it had everything one needed; Like flowers in all colors, shapes and sizes, birds chirping, clean water bodies with aquatic birds gracing them. It was clean (for a change compared to other parks in Delhi). And it had security personnel monitoring the place. (BIG PLUS) There is a play area for kids with many options ; and a tree house. The nursery is garnished with historical monuments that stand a witness to the past and cater to a future generation. My only grudge... is that the food options are limited; and highly overpriced. It would be best to carry ones own food. but that kind of dampens the "keep it light and easy" spirit. All is all a good place to invest over a weekend. DO note that they have entry fee of rs 50 per adult, rs 25 for senior citizens and kids, and Rs 100 for car parking. Those expenses I found worthwhile due to the

Away from the hustle bustle of the city and still in the city. It’s a green abode in the heart of Delhi. We also saw an organic farm market on Sunday which had great breakfast brunch options along with organic stuff. Bit on the pricey side but that comes along with the ambience this place provides.
