LOTUS POND is a part of Yamuna biodiversity park. A nice wetland and pond with ducks and jalkumbi(common water hyacinth) and lotus plants with birds. In rainy season yamuna river water refills it. Its a peaceful location. People come around here for sight seeing, walking, jogging,running,yoga. One can find a good place for doing yoga here. Fresh air with refreshing environment. But no proper seating. You have to seat on grass or bring your own mat.

Exceptional ! We always want to travel overseas for beautiful lakes and beacges what if I tell you it's all here in Delhi I wish it stays this crystal clean water and beautiful surroundings . If you going there make sure you get back all the waste and plastic u take with you . Least we can do . Absolute best in Delhi .

Lotus Pond is a beautiful pond with ducks swimming, in Yamuna Biodiversity Park 2 , near Jagatpuri Village, Delhi. It is a very scenic spot and ideal for birdwatching.

It's not only name...lotus pond, but you will find hundreds of lotuses and also swans/egrets. Surroundings are not properly maintained but fresh air comparatively. U ll get to see some egrets, nilgai and peacock near by. But it is good to see adjoining forest, wetlands, marshes etc, it sooths ur eyes... away from crowded Delhi and it's pollution.

Don't go there if you are not comfortable with confronting local Gujjar dons who will harass even groups of 5-6 men and force you to give money to "get their permission?" Anyways, the water quality is good.

Death Valley is a wonderful place to visit which is set aside from the city. You will get to see some real beauty here and feel like being in a foreign destination. Rest this place is not that much safe due to natural reasons of being located in isolated place and in forest area, but there is no unnatural presence in this area. One should be careful and take precautions while visiting this place. Good for having a adventurous outing away from city for a day.

Its also knowm as a Khonnee jheel, this valley is a collection of abandoned mines, which has become natural picturesque sight of crystal clear blue water lakes. A very good for short hiking amidst hustle bustle of Delhi city life. The area surrounding the lake is a amid jungle where you can see some wildlife also.

It's a lovely lake within/close to Faridabad/Gurgaon. Nestled in the Aravalli's, this beautiful lake (called Bhardwaj lake) is nestled between the rocks and the green cover. Reaching it is a bit tricky and adventurous. Climbing down to the lake requires a degree of flexibility. Understand there are some restrictions imposed by the authorities, but there are no such signage. It's a good outing for nature lovers. Tried fishing (there are cat fishes galore). But was asked not to fish there. Not sure if it's prohibited (again, no signage) Caution: Please take care of your vehicle and belongings. Someone tried to break-into my friends parked car. Fortunately wasn't successful.

But still they is garbage lying on side of road (people have started to make it a dumping ground and specially nearby street no 112 side of the park is totally covered by garbage even sometimes dead animals) and area covered with dust(not that much greenery), animals(cows and dogs), but it can be improved just it needs some attention of authorities, rest of it is nice.. good
