I
recently
visited
Wave
Cinema
in
Kaushambi
to
watch
"Indiana
Jones
and
the
Dial
of
Destiny."
Situated
within
walking
distance
from
Kaushambi
metro
station,
this
cinema
hall
boasts
four
screens
with
ample
seating
space.
Although
the
theaters
are
spacious
and
the
screens
are
larger,
I
found
the
experience
disappointing
due
to
several
drawbacks.
One
major
drawback
is
the
low
brightness
of
the
screens,
which
detracted
from
the
overall
movie-watching
experience.
In
darker
scenes,
it
became
particularly
challenging
to
fully
enjoy
the
film
due
to
the
insufficient
brightness
levels.
Furthermore,
the
sound
system
fell
short
of
expectations.
Instead
of
the
immersive
Dolby
7.1
or
Dolby
Atmos
setups
found
in
many
modern
theaters,
Wave
Cinema
had
a
general
sound
system
that
lacked
impact.
At
times,
it
was
difficult
to
hear
the
dialogue
clearly,
which
further
diminished
the
experience.
Another
aspect
worth
noting
is
the
limited
projection
quality.
The
projectors
used
at
Wave
Cinema
are
restricted
to
1080p
or
2K
resolution,
whereas
other
cinema
halls
have
already
made
the
transition
to
4K.
This
disparity
in
visual
quality
can
be
noticeable,
especially
for
movies
that
benefit
from
higher
resolutions
and
finer
details.
While
the
ticket
prices
at
Wave
Cinema
are
lower
compared
to
other
theaters,
the
overall
experience
falls
short
of
expectations.
The
combination
of
low
screen
brightness,
subpar
sound
quality,
and
limited
projection
capabilities
diminishes
the
potential
enjoyment
of
the
movie.
It
would
be
beneficial
for
the
management
to
invest
in
upgrading
their
equipment
to
provide
a
more
immersive
and
visually
impressive
cinematic
experience
for
their
patrons.
