Visited on a Sunday afternoon around 3.30pm with high expectations of taste satisfying and hunger satiating Rajasthani food. We were damn hungry and swiftly ordered 3 Thalis and waited for someone to bring the pot for hand wash that they usually do but to our surprise no one did (though they had the pots). We were like okay we are here for the food and not for their marketing gimmick. But the food was a huge disappointment. Almost all the curries, dishes even sweets were waaaayyy below average and our hunger died. We ate a little just to carry on with the day. Never gonna visit this food chain again.

Went there for a family dinner. I personally think this place is more of a Rajasthani cuisine and culture experience rather than only food tasting. Food.. 3/5 Out of all the dishes a few were good, few were ok, few were not so good. Overall an average taste experience. Service.. 5/5 Absolutely amazing service experience. Very welcoming and quick. Ambiance.. 5/5 The ambiance is decent but the vibe was quite authentic. Pricing.. 5/5 Good pricing. ₹500/person Value for money.. 5/5 Very authentic but not for everyone. But everyone should try it.

A Rajasthani Thaali restaurant in Connaught place. The service is warm however, it's slow. Food gets cold by the time all items are served. The quantity is good. The taste is average. Hygiene is awesome. Basically, the taste needs to improve. The waiters are very warm, they will serve you to the best of their ability and will proactively help you click pictures. Wish the chef's do a better job.

It’s a good change when compared to the everyday Punjabi fare dished out by the majority of the Delhi eateries. Very clean and the singer was a nice touch. The food is also tasty and different. Budget wise too affordable. Would recommend but not five stars.

Really just loved it!! Their ambience, hospitality, taste everything is just perfect. The welcome drink they offer is amazing. Didn't like tinde though 😂 but other than that every food item was delicious. They serve less quantity but still it's filling and you can also ask for another serving. The ethnic Rajasthani music playing in the background is soothing. It had waiting on Saturday but didn't have to wait for long. The price is also reasonable for a big family. Will definitely recommend if you want to try something new yet in your budget.

Authentic Rajasthani Thali that was an absolute treat to the taste buds! Just wow! We couldn’t really decide which dish tasted the best. Such was the quality of the food which was served by the most enthusiastic bunch of service folk you can find at any restaurant. Full marks for the service & the speed with which food was served. Icing on the cake was the amazing traditional Rajasthani music played on the “Ravanahatha” by the resident artist. Go & enjoy the culinary experience garnished with cultural touches all over!

Didn't like the food as it was very very spicy. In kadi pakora, pakora was very hard. In gatte ki sabzi gatta was very very hard, in palak kofta, kofta was too hard to eat. All dishes should be properly balanced. CP is the heart of Delhi. Not all come here to enjoy rajasthani food. I have enjoyed rajasthani food in Jodhpur, jaisalmer, Jaipur & Udaipur etc but every where dishes were properly balanced & not too spicy. Only consolation was folk musician playing o meri Zohra jabeen... Visited this restaurant on 4th & 8 th September 2021

We had team dinner at this restaurant which I discovered through Zomato. Fabulous dining space for typical Rajesthani cuisine- Daal Baati,Churma, Kachoris,Chhachh, rice, rotis, kadhi, paneer ki sabji, gatte ki sabji, khichdi with ghee, papadi chaat and so many dishes were served .with unlimited servings of each item. Icecream with Paan flavor was served at the end . Super yummy it was. My vegetarian colleagues were so happy to have enjoyed this place so much and thanked me too :) Hospitality was super ..we were given pagdis to wear ..service was beyond mark ..and to top it all the rates were very reasonable..so if you love Rajesthani Food and you are in Connaught place do visit this restaurant

This was my first experience of Rajasthani Thali in Delhi. They served large variety of dishes. Desserts were also included. I liked bajra khuchdi the most. Also they had kachori and aloo bonda as snacks. I was a bit disappointed by the chhachh but everything else was fabulous. The staff was polite and quick. Every dish you reorder is served hot (ofcourse only the hot dishes). Dahi vada was also wonderful. A must visit place if you are a real BAKASUR.

This place is just the best. Located near Rajiv chowk station, Ghumar provides the best traditional culinary experience ever. The starters, main course as well as the desert is really tasty. The wonderful management of the place, under Mr. Saini, is just the cherry on the top. The place is nice and clean, the service is pretty fast and all the employees are well groomed. Pricing is competitive for buffet thaali(in segment). Definitely recommend this place for spending quality time with family or friends.

It was a delightful experience. From the moment I stepped in, I was transported into a world of Rajasthani elegance and gastronomic wonder. The food at Ghoomar is an absolute revelation! Each dish is a masterpiece, brimming with authentic Rajasthani flavors The interior of Ghoomar is a tribute to the regal heritage of Rajasthan and management was too supportive.

I love this restaurant. People say it is expensive, but, their motto is you get what you pay for. I promise after trying this, you will understand the quality is superior. food was delicious as well as fresh. Totally authentic flavour of RAJASTHAN. Dim lights and slow music made this place cozy. Staff was very nice. Totally worthy

I had, in the past visited a few Rajashani themed restaurants, and loved them, especially Rajasthali. This place is decent and the food that they serve is of average quality, taste wise, frankly. I cannot help but compare with Rajasthali as they're awesome! The ambience felt a tad suffocating to me, but that might very well be just my issue, personally. The variety of food that they serve tasted mediocre and I felt it was laced with a little too much ghee. The desserts were wonderful though, be it the kheer or the halwa. Food, well, is strictly OK.

Indulging in the flavors of Rajasthani cuisine while seated in Delhi is no longer a distant dream. Ghoomar Rajasthani Thali offers the most delectable array of Rajasthani dishes, ranging from corn soup and sangri ka achaar to dal baati churma and bajra khichdi. Each bite of this soul-soothing food transports you to the heart of Rajasthan. The ambience is equally enchanting, with local musicians playing folk tunes nearby while they lovingly place their traditional caps on your head, immersing you in an unforgettable cultural experience. Indeed, dining at Ghoomar Rajasthani Thali is an adventure in itself.

I recently went for dining at Ghoomar restaurant with a group of 14 people, and I must say it was a fantastic experience. The restaurant offers an unlimited buffet system, which is served in a traditional Rajasthani way, making it a unique and memorable dining experience. The food was delicious, with a wide range of traditional Rajasthani dishes to choose from, and the staff was attentive and polite throughout our meal. I would like to especially appreciate Mr. Sunil Chaturwedi from the staff, who went above and beyond to make our dining experience special. He was very helpful, polite, and attentive to our needs, which made our visit even more enjoyable. Overall, I highly recommend Ghoomer restaurant to anyone looking for an authentic Rajasthani dining experience. The unlimited buffet system and the traditional way of serving food, combined with the friendly and attentive staff, make it a must-visit restaurant in the area.

So the restaurant is growing however just not space here are few things missing: 1) Taste- no authentic expectations one can keep, quality of food not good. Ker Sangri Achaar was old and green chutney had white layer of fungus which manager said is ice. Staff behaviour is polite but that won't compensate the taste. 2) Not worth the money, basic taste and no order of serving. If you have experienced other restaurants in the area like Rajdhani and Rajasthali, you can figure what's missing else forget about the service quality. 1060 for 2 thali not worth

It was a nice experience overall, since I belong to the outskirts of Rajasthan, I found the taste of food very similar as we eat there. The variety of dishes served is amazing. I really enjoyed the food and Ambience. One more thing, it has shifted to another place in the same block, hardly 50 Meters from the place the Google Maps shows its location.

Horrible experience, unfriendly staff. Served salad and chat but no spoon, no water. Broken glass was served. Requested to make the air conditioner a bit cooler as we were sweating while eating but we got this response “ Sir, this is normal temperature “, to me that’s a stupid answer. There was a cockroach as well on the table to make it even worse, attached is the pic.Asked if my 11 year old can have a mini thali as she was just going to give it a try but the management was so not flexible that they out and out said no that’s not possible. Chana chaat was spoiled and tasted really weird. Food taste was good but they need to understand that it’s a wholesome experience that counts. Disappointed and not coming again.

Initially, we were thinking of having some Rajasthani food, so we decided to explore this restaurant which is situated in CP Delhi. Genuinely, every dish that I ate was delicious in terms of taste and quantity both. Generally when we have so much variety the quality becomes down but this was not the case here. Also, hygiene was properly followed with all the thalis pre-packed before we could start our food. They served around 8-10 kinds along with 2 kinds of drinks and all of them were mouth watering with a great Rajasthani ambience and service. The food was unlimited so quantity was not the issue. Overall the experience was great! You all can visit and enjoy being a Rajasthani for few hours!😀

I had an Amazing experience here. We ended up eating here a few hours ago after getting profiled by Darzi kitchen and bar for wearing sandals and I'm so glad we did! This restaurant has a planned menu of both food and drinks. You can't get a Sprite here, but you get to try literally everything in the thali and if you want seconds, this, or fourths they will give it to you. It was a really fun way to try new things that I'd never had before, even having recently come to Delhi from Jaipur. It's a really, beautifully traditional experience that you absolutely must try whether you're going on a date or a gathering of family or friends. Very delicious food, I would come again and highly highly recommend it.

I recently dined at this restaurant, and it was an absolute delight! The ambiance was cozy, the service was impeccable, and the menu offered a mouthwatering selection. Each dish was a culinary masterpiece, showcasing fresh and flavorful ingredients. The chef's attention to detail was evident, and the presentation was as impressive as the taste. From appetizers to desserts, every bite was a delight. I highly recommend this restaurant for a memorable dining experience. A definite 5-star gem! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The Rajasthani thali was a delightful experience, offering a diverse array of flavors and textures. From the aromatic dal bati churma to kadi. Though a bit disappointed as the famous dish of Rajasthan KER SANGRI, was missing. Despite the absence of ker sangri, the thali remained an exceptional showcase of Rajasthani cuisine, leaving a lasting impression with its bold flavors and quick service. The ambience created rajashthan's vibe.

An amazing place with very tasty food and receptive staff. I was heartedly welcomed and provided with everything the restaurant offers. The food is amazing, though very spiced (it's Indian food, after all), so go knowing that :) An amazing experience for my first time in Delhi. Thanks and best regards from a Brazilian traveler!

Great spot to try traditional Rajasthani thali. The food tasted amazing and the service was great. Our server Rajesh was very attentive and made sure we had what we need and made our dining experience very plesant. The restrooms while small were clean and equipped. The reason for 4 star rating is that there were stairs and no elevator, which makes it a bit tough for the elderly and it’s not accessible by people who are unable to take stairs. And the other reason for a lower rating is that while there were several dishes and options, the vegetables and curry that were served could have been hotter in temperature. But other than that I highly recommend this place and will be sure to bring back others for this outstanding experience. My fav was the cold chaas drink.

Great service and very delicious food with authentic flavors (or so I think) from Rajasthan. We had our Thali start with an assortment of drinks like Jaljeera and Chaas. Dal baati choorma was at it's finest and we had a wide variety of dishes with some traditional ingredients like jowar and bajra. Fantastic experience overall

It's an amazing place to have traditionally Rajasthani food. The food is not just delicious but tastes authentic. The service is top notch and hygienic. Plus they have this entire vibe going on with some folk music and of course unlimited food per person.

This was my 2nd time. It has been shifted to 1st floor but the taste and service remains same as earlier. Its wonderful. The music, the walls, the menu, the staff, everything makes you feel like you are in Rajasthan. We had normal as well as navratri thali and the food was very tasty. Plates, bowls and glasses are seal packed and the seal is removed only once they start serving food. A must visit.

Traditional Rajasthani decor, live music, and staff dressed in Rajasthani. Food was good but not exceptional. Unlike other Rajasthani restaurants, it was not overtly spicy. I enjoyed it.

  • 4/5 KUNAL V. 2 years ago on Google
So this place reviewed as an authentic Rajasthani cuisine. So me and my wife went up there. Entrance is a bit tricky as there are different signs and we kind of lost it. But we found and entered. The immediate strike of Rajasthani decor and folk dresses of staff will certainly take you to dip in rajasthani mood. The space is awkwardly small and suffocating. Maybe because we sat on a table which had a pillar in front of. But seating arrangement was also like small canteen. The cutlery was already placed on the table carefully covered with plastic wrap. Everything. Bowls, glasses all covered with wrap. While seated and waiting for the food to come in we noticed that the place is very old structure and needs repair to fix walls and paint. FYI it has fixed menu and serves unlimited tims. It depends on how much you can eat and how many rounds the staff can make it to your table. Like typical folk authentic restaurants e.g. chokhi dhani. The food was good but also to hurry up was served cold. We had to ask to serve warm food.

  • 4/5 sukhbeer B. 2 years ago on Google
Welcoming staff, delicious food, justified pricing. Baajre ki khichdi was the most delicious. Daal baati can be improved. Paneer was okayish (not even needed). Ambiance can take some improvement by adding some rajashtani handicrafts, puppets or any other symbols. Will be visiting again soon with the family.
