Situated on the rooftop, it's a pretty nice Indian restaurant. The outdoor seating area is quite breezy with a view of the Ganges. The food was really tasty, especially dal makhani, paneer moksha and malai kofta but the portion size was quite disappointing especially for the price charged. Boondi raita also tasted a little weird. The service by Mr. Rawat was on point. One thing that I'd have expected from such a restaurant was a dedicated hand wash area. There's just a single washroom that needs to be used for washing hands but since it's mostly occupied, people usually have to wait for a while.

THE VIEW WAS AMAZING ! the food was so so But the view and the ambience is top notch ! It has a swing in the middle of the cafe overviewing Ganga river and it felt so peaceful to just swing by in front of such a lovely view . The Cafe is so cute and has lovely quotes written all over as a decor .

Absolutely loved the food!! Everything was cooked to perfection. The servicing quantity is also enough. They provide digital menu so you can make your order before arriving at the restaurant. But don't forget your phone (nobody anyway forgets their phone).

Food is decent. We liked most of the items served. Kafuli saag was very average, We had very high hope from it considering it's specialty of uttarakhand food. Maandave ki roti was delicious and tasty. Dal tadka was delicious too. Garlic bread and pastas were very tasty too. Food item such as sizzler was not avbl even after taking order for unknown reason. Onion as a salad was not available due to No Stock. It took some time to serve first order but all subsequent order were served promptly. Location is really good and Ganga view from restaurant is pretty good. Triveni ghaat is visible from restaurant. Special mention to restaurant staff Mr. Prakash who was very helpful in explaining various detail and staying with us all throughout.

You may place your order online before you even get to the restaurant thanks to their computerized menu. Restaurant serves only vegetarian food. We lingered for a while to take in the scenery. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed it and would highly suggest it. Live music enthusiasts may arrange their visits for later than 7 o'clock in evening.

Very nice dining experience and fabulous view from rooftop restaurant sitting facing river curve of great Ganga. Staff very cooperative and helpful. We immediately decided to visit again next day for Lunch after previous day's dinner while we were staying in Haridwar one hour drive away. Moreover we were very pleasantly surprised with a live instrumental classical music with a artist of high calibre just after we finished our dining at about 7pm. We stayed back for sometime to enjoy very soothing music. Overall a great enjoyment and definitely recommend. The interested people in live music may plan the visit past 7pm.

Highly overrated place. Prices are unnecessarily too high despite of the poor service. We had a lunch here and order vegetarian Dum Biryani. And they have served the food which was seems to be coocked an hour before. Dum biryani supposed to be served Hot but it was not. Dust in all over the place. Kitchen is too unhygienic. Very casual behaviour of the staffs. Better to go for another options instead of paying that high cost for no reason.

The restaurant is situated on the fifth floor of the building giving a mesmerizing view of mother ganga which is a delight to your eye. . The supervisor is probably the most delightful lady you would meet in Rishikesh and she has a very beautiful smile ☺️ . The food was not worth the prices it has, I mean "I MEAN I HAVE HAD BETTER FOOD AT ROADSIDE CARTS", the fried noodle with manchow soup was stale, you could feel the soup was not fresh, the spring roll was probably deep freezed and the biriyani tasted like yesterday's...i was strongly dissatisfied with the food that they provided.

The restaurant servers one of the best foods in whole of Uttarakhand. It has got a amazing view of Maa Ganga. Very pleasant Ambience. Good service by staff. Best place to visit with family and friends.

We just walk into this restaurant. The food quality is super good as the staff ensure they serve us hot and freshly made food. Hygienic and we had an amazing breakfast buffet.The food was amazing. The crew Rajesh & surendren and Shika singh gave us an excellent service, they were proactive attentive with pleasant and welcoming smile. The ambience is super cool with bamboo deco and clean area. Highly recommended.

Excellent view, average food, filthy bathroom. And order their "healthy bowl" of baked vegetables only if you want to have "cheese soup".

HIGHLY OVERRATED!!! Good view, Bad customer service, bad food and highly priced. We entered in the afternoon and they asked for all of our information. When we came in we could either sit inside or outside. The inside was poorly air conditioned. You could not feel the cool wind. The outside there were fans that were off. We went to the bathroom to wash our hands. There was only One bathroom which was very filthy. There was no menu and we had to listen to the menu that was fairly large. The food was not even that good and they made us wait 20-25 minutes. The cafe was 1 floor above but it was closed. They were still allowing us up there. We went took some pics and left. I don't recommend this to anyone. I feel all good reviews are made up by staff because there is no way that the food or customer service was good.

I WOULD LIKE TO GIVE NEGATIVE ⭐ IF IT WAS THE OPTION... One of the worst experience I've ever had. Went into this rooftop at 6:30pm waited for 15 mins for menu after calling twice one came I asked for Menu he said that we are not taking order till 7:30pm. The way he responds was really bad. This is not the way you should treat your customer at least you should mention this before we waited there for 15mins just for hearing this?? One more thing I noticed over there group of 4 girls was celebrating birthday and maybe they were their for quite long time. And the waiter said don't roam here and there it's already too late... So in a nutshell... Seriously there will be no use of your great ambience when there is no great staff in your place. Choose your staff wisely because human resource is very important as they directly deals with your customer. So I would not recommend anyone to go over there.. If you wanna go first call them confirm whether they are taking order or not.

Neat and clean place with a great view and wonderful staff! The manager was humble and took our requests politely. Because we went out with our 10 month old baby so we carried home made food, they were fine with it. We ordered pasta, spring roll and pizza, spring roll tasted the best. Also, we had masala tea which was 10 on 10. The place doesn’t have parking facility and we had to park our car outside the premises. One plus point is the view that this restaurant offers. The outdoor seating adds charm to this place. We visited it for the first time and we will definitely visit again. Thank you

Had an awesome experience at the roof top restaurant sitting elephant. Their snacks are awesome and the ambiance is also good. The view of holy ganga river from the restaureblnt is mesmerising. Vijay ji, Prakash Ji, Ashok Ji, Anurag Ji, and Madhu mam take care of us. Chef Mr. manoj and Mr. Suresh customized chinese and Continental dishes as per our taste. Thank you for the warm welcome !

I and my husband along with my 10 months old stayed here for 2 days and it was quiet pleasant. We got complimentary upgrade and view from the room was amazing. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. We had one dinner and two breakfasts here. Food and service both were good. They also have baby chairs which most restaurants don’t have. Overall our stay and food experience was pleasant.

Great location overlooking the river. Restaurant with impressive menu of local dishes. Unfortunately most were not available so we had to settle for the usual fare. Extremely expensive. Designed for dollar paying clientele. Taste of the fare was good. Service tardy. But friendly waiters. One left my credit card at the hostess desk unattended.I discovered it there on my way to the wash room. He then argued that no body took it so it was not an issue with him I guess! Also the girl at the lobby said that the restaurant was open. Upon reaching the top, We had to sit out with old parents for half an hr since it was closed. The ramp for wheelchair is so steep that you cannot even walk on it leave alone try to wheel a chair up

Only good view and some good things inside. In Google maps The Sitting Elephant looks good, but when you come there you see that lazy stuff works there. Starting from the elevator. Everywhere is dirty… In the restaurant stuff slowly flows)) Garlic Naan only smells like garlic 🧄 Food taste is good. Prices for a dish are 500 rupees up. Please, take tissues and clean🧽 If you do that I will change to 4*👍 Food in such kind of place should cost twice cheaper. Not clean, no service..

The restaurant is located in a hotel ( 5th floor), it's a rooftop restaurant/ terrace. We did not have the experience we were hoping for. Only vegetarian options. The food was just blah,and definitely overpriced for the quality and taste. The Dal lacked the rich flavour, the rice needed some cooking, to the " quality" they claimed was definitely not experienced by us. The washroom was very very COZY and not clean, it could have used some help in that aspect, because you could smell the bathroom from the host's desk. The service was cold same as the iceberg welcoming crew at the elevator. We just thought it was the end of a long day for them and they were just tired (clue: they were very cold and short). HOWEVER, the view from the rooftop restaurant is beautiful. I would definitely say the view is worthwhile but the food and service not so much.

It's a lovely rustic place , with good food. Ambience , view and hospitality is amazing special shout out to shikha. Very attentive and helpful Lot to improve on the coffee though .

The hotel is located very near to triveni ghat.About the food, food is very good we had lunch, dinner and breakfast buffet at the hotel s restaurant and trust me everything recommended by staff was very good. we were specially attended by mr. mukesh singh rawat, excellent food and services. If one wishes to visit then they can park their vehicle and go on foot via the walkway constructed and directions are given by the hotel staff. The hotel itself is a one of a kind and offers good view of maa ganga . The hotel has rooms which are river facing and non river facing. The rooms are equipped with modern ammendments and food at the restaurant is also good. Only down side is they charge more for mineral water bottles so i would suggest you to bring water bottles from outside. Otherwise staywise hotel is good, staff is courteously and overall a very pleasent stay. i have stayed here for the second time and will definitely visit again. Keep smiling:)

Really loved this beautiful restaurant with the scenic view of the mountains and River Ganga. And the food served here is super delicious. I'm sure you will love every bit of it. The staff is generous and helpful, a special mention to Mukesh ji for treating me nicely with special Garhwali Dishes. Do visit them and I bet you will have a great experience.

Went in at about 5.30pm and the place was deserted but beautiful. We were the only ones there that we doubted if the restaurant was open or not- the reception lady did say it was open after getting our details (on a book). Situated on the rooftop (almost) of Ellbee hotel this place has taken online processes to the next level. Digital bills, digital receipts and all- only if the reception and order was also digitised, it’d be totally touch free😅 Coming to the food, we ordered a pizza and 3 drinks. All of them were tasty. Pizza isn’t authentic, and is more of an American style pizza, but it did taste good. The cold beverages were slightly over sweet, but still yummy- coke float, cold coffee and peach ice tea. I don’t know what they used for the peach ice tea but it had a very unique and nice flavour, but again too sweet. The service was warm. The ambiance was lovely and the place felt great for an evening hangout.

The location is great but the service is not at all up the mark, the staff is kind of pushy. Payment of the bill is really sucking, they force you to share your data before the payment. Card payment system is not available at the restaurant, one has to come down from 5th floor to ground floor for paying through card. Food is okayish types, not bad but ok.
