Historical place that must visit in Delhi. Here the architecture of modern India Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru lived when he was Prime Minister of India. Memories of him during his tenure is showcased in a nice way. After recent renovation many historical things are decorated and presented in excellent fashion. The vast ground in the back side of it is used to build Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya. Which is inaugurated on April 22. This is also a center of attraction. Tickets for both are available here as single ticket.

If you find yourself in Delhi, a must-visit is the Teen Murti Bhavan, now known as Pradhan Mantri Sanghralaya or the Prime Ministers Museum. This captivating place offers profound insights into post-independence India, showcasing the making of our Constitution and the prestigious Bharat Ratna awards bestowed upon our Prime Ministers. Be sure to secure your tickets in advance for the enchanting light and laser show held every evening!

Going to this beautiful memorial of Pandit Nehru as a child. So gave me great happiness to tale my kids there. Immaculately maintained. Do see the planetarium in the same complex. Now of course the back lawns are converted into Prime Ministers museum. Excellent one at that.

The newly inaugurated Pradhanmantri Sanghralaya (Prime Minister Museum) is a beautifully planned building showcasing the works of all our previous Prime Ministers. It is situated on the backside of Teen Murthi Bhavan. You can buy audio guides or you can even download the audio guide app on your mobile phone and listen to the audio while seeing the museum. Several add-ons are available like a photo with your favourite PM, personalized letter from your favourite PM, Stroll with your favourite PM. You can buy tickets from the reception using either card or cash. Online tickets are also available and I recommend online tickets as the add-ons are limited and if you plan to buy from the counter there is a chance they might be sold out. The lawn in front of the Teen Murthi Bhavan is very beautiful and you can even watch peacocks. The lawn is also used by local stargazers. You can even enter Nehru planetarium from the second gate which is situated adjacent to the lawn. The ticket counter closes at 5pm and the PM museum closes at 6pm. People who purchase add-ons can stay even after 6pm until they complete your add-on. So it is best to complete the tour of the museum and then wait for the activities. Amenities such as the baby care room, washroom and drinking water are available inside.

Loved thi house of our first prime minister of independent India.. You can see there sitting room, study room and bedroom of pandit Nehru. What I like the most is collection of books inside the house and now it is known as Nehru memorial and museum library.. This is one of my favorite places , last month I went twice there It's feel really wonderful to have book and read in of front garden of teen murti bhawan. There's also Nehru science museum also inside the premises of bhawan or teen murti house. Just front of teen murti bhawan there's a famous chowk called haiefa chowk ( earlier known as teen murti chowk) and if you walk some 800 meters then you will reach president house ( Rastrapati bhawan) Must visit...

The teen murti memorial or bhawan was built in 1930 as part of the new imperial capital of India, as the resident of the commander in chief of British Indian Army. Later it served as the residence of the first Prime Minister of India, Jawaharlal Nehru in Delhi, India, who stayed here for 16 years until his death on May 27, 1964. Today, Teen Murti houses various institutions including the Nehru Memorial Museum and Library (NMML). It has a huge garden and one can also catch the glimpse of peacock roaming around.... If you are lucky enough. Not, only that but also visit nehru planetarium which is joined to memorial .

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Teen Murti House in Delhi, and it was an absolutely captivating experience. As a history enthusiast, I was eager to explore this iconic landmark, and it did not disappoint. First and foremost, the architecture of Teen Murti House is stunning. The grandeur of the building itself, with its regal facade and intricate detailing, is enough to transport you to a bygone era. The lush green gardens surrounding the house create a serene atmosphere, offering a peaceful retreat amidst the bustling city. Once inside, I was greeted by knowledgeable and friendly staff who guided me through the museum. The exhibits beautifully showcase India's rich history, particularly focusing on the life and achievements of our first Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru. The artifacts, photographs, and personal belongings on display provide valuable insights into his journey and the struggles of our nation during that time. One highlight of my visit was the opportunity to explore Nehru's former residence, which has been preserved to maintain its original charm. Walking through the rooms where Nehru lived and worked was a truly immersive experience. The attention to detail in recreating the ambiance of that era is commendable. It felt like stepping back in time, gaining a glimpse into the life of one of India's most influential leaders. The museum also offers an engaging audio guide, providing in-depth information about each exhibit. It enhances the overall experience and ensures that visitors can fully appreciate the significance of the artifacts on display. Moreover, the beautifully curated library at Teen Murti House is a treasure trove for history buffs. It houses an extensive collection of books, documents, and manuscripts, offering a wealth of knowledge for those interested in further exploration. In addition to the historical significance, Teen Murti House hosts various cultural events and exhibitions, making it a vibrant hub of art and heritage. It serves as a platform for intellectual discussions, lectures, and presentations, fostering a sense of community and learning. I would highly recommend a visit to Teen Murti House for locals and tourists alike. It's an extraordinary place where history comes alive. The serene surroundings, well-preserved artifacts, and informative exhibits make it a must-visit destination for anyone interested in delving deeper into India's past. Whether you're a history enthusiast or simply curious about our nation's journey, this museum will leave you inspired and enlightened.

It's called the "Prime Minister's Museum and Library" now. It's bustling with activity. Q good place to learn about post-independence Bharatiya history. Also a planetarium is hosted here. And a library, ofcourse. The books are mostly Left leaning because of Nehruvian legacy.

Shows the history of India’s independence and The family of Gandhi’s. I got to know about nehru and his family a lot. It is shown very nicely with the help of the latest technology. The house is same. You can see a new building in the backyard which is also a museum. Pretty nice experience. You should visit it but if you have 2-3 hours.

Visited the Nehru planetarium. It is a good place for kids and adults to learn and explore about space. 3D shows has further enhanced the experience but do but tickets in advance. There is a huge crowd otherwise and you might feel like standing and waiting.

3 buildings in the same complex and boy, it gets crowded on weekends, so plan accordingly. buildings: Teen Murti Bhavan, Pradhan mantri sangrahalaya (new one) and Nehru planetarium. there is parking at entrance from circle, free. plan: its best to book planetarium in advance from bookmyshow or 30min before the show (queue is small early in the day) and it gets to big line by mid-day. you cannot buy for later shows from window, so you will have to stand in queue before the show time. for PM sangrahalya+Teen murti there is common entrance ticket and you can buy online, QR code is shown at ticket window. you can get add-ons like photo with favorite PM, personalized letter, etc which are good. you will need at least 2 hours, though you can spend full day if you want. there is a cafe with few choices and always crowded in the new building. what to expect: i couldnt get to nehru planetarium, so no comments. As you enter other building, Teen murti bhavan is first one where our 1st PM Pt. Nehru lived till his death. you can see rooms like his study room, bed room etc, one room which describes constitution framing, few rooms for gifts he received etc. once you are done, then you go to PM sangrahalaya behind it (new building). on ground floor below stairs are all the add-ons and there is small queue and better to get that done. if you are hungry, better to grab food from cafe, before you see all the floors as it will take some time. Each floor covers the PM's lives, wars that India fought etc and is very informaive.

One of the best place to visit in Delhi. There is a library also in which various seminars and lectures are organized. If you wish you can grab that also. It is the place which revives the memories of Nehru and gives us knowledge about the same. If you have time and you really want to explore Delhi in a new way so I suggest you to visit Nehru memorial and library once. You will never forget the experiences gain by you. Also if they organized any seminar and lecture then they also give you refreshment. And if you wanna get both I suggest you attend the lecture from where you can get knowledge and refreshments.

India's most modern museum displaying images, videos and memorabilia of past prime ministers from Nehru to Manmohan Singh, a section showing missions to Moon and Mars and a gallery for the Constituent Assembly formed before independence to draft India's constitution. The compound also has Nehru Planetarium with shows starting 11:30 am, starting with English and then alternating with Hindi - a total of 4 shows till 4 pm and a Space & Astronomy gallery. Kids (2 year onwards) have as much fun here as their adults.
