So this again is a little different mandir , by visiting this mandir, i felt i needed it. I learnt a lot by visiting this mandir. Before that i had no idea what's inside. I thought it was like any other mandir but no, it's really different. Don't look it from outside , you cannot imagine what's inside. Inside is so mesmerising, the art, the craving, decoration, it's old work. It's not related to modern artwork but very old, that's what I feel, idk i may be wrong. Just watch my video and see the pictures for yourself and evaluate. The mandir had some parts added may be few years back and may be some construction or renovation might have been done. Most parts are old, those newly constructed are very visible. This mandir consists of seperate small mandir inside this mandir. Each mandir having it own Panditji. I felt that here mandir people were a little more greedy than other mandir, they were asking for money shamelessly. So this mandir is not on ground floor, it's on first floor, the main mandir , and it's beautiful. With small rooms they have plenty idols of various hindu god and goddess. I have never seen such artwork before this. Ok so my feelings were mixed, on some parts they were very bad, on some parts they were okay. Vibes were also mixed. Atmosphere mixed, pleasant on some parts. I would say it's a great Mandir, so do visit this mandir at least once. I think you won't regret it.

Such a nice and devotional place nice and beautiful provide piece to mind and sole Its in chandni chowk . There are 2 stations near to it yellow line chandni chowk and violet line lal qila station . Its walking if coming from lal qila gate numb 1 (nearest) . There is seesh ganj gurudwara also which is often visited by devotees . If you are planning to come on weekday park your vehicle in parking (which is lil bit far from temple) as the market is a rush ! Chandni chowk is closed on sundays so if you on one then you get inside the newly built gateway and pathway . I hope you find it informative. Har Har MAHADEV🙏

Best Place for Worship 🛐. This Iconic Temple is situated in the Starting of Chandni Chownk. So peaceful so calm & I can say Do Powerful too. This is so neat and Clean except few Fastival Days. This you can notice from Main road. You can Reach there through Direct Metro 🚇 also. If you can board the Kashmiri gate metro just deboard the train 🚉 on LAL QUILA station. This is a Biggest Temple in Chandni chownk. On जन्माष्टमी Janmashtmi you must visit that place. The shringar of that temple is Incredible. Thank you

Meditation gives Shiva(Rudra)the immense Yogic power needed to take care of the entire Universe. Meditation keeps Shiva(Rudra) away from all the Worldy affairs, thus He saves a lot of energy, instead getting involved in materialistic things. But this doesn't mean that, Shiva during meditation is unaware of the happenings in the Universe. He has the divya_drishti, the celestial eyes through which He sees all the happenings. The Kundalini energy is activated for Shiva because of the continuous meditation He always does and He has all the Eight Siddhis, the supernatural powers. Shiva keeps all the 8 Siddhis under His control, and uses them for the welfare of the Universe. Shiva’s (Rudra) third Eye or the Ajna Chakra is the indication of Shiva's immense Yogic energy and He opens His third eye to destroy the evil. The most important fact why God Shiva has taken meditative state is to make the entire humanity realise their Own_self and to thus immerse in the bliss.

This temple history goes back to 800 years. One of the most famous temple in Delhi next to Red Fort as you enter Chandani Chowk. You can park at parade ground and walk towards the temple. #Heritage #Delhi #India

If you really want to fill your mind with spirituality then do visit this temple. The whole temple is made up of white marvel and there is a fine art of different God and Godess in the walls of the main temple. In the main temple there is a Shiv Ling. Also in the back side there is a big idol of Mahadev. Around the temple you can also see small temples.

One of the oldest temple in Delhi, just near to red fort located on Chandni Chowk. This temple is made of pure white stone. Which makes it look so beautiful the architecture of the temple is really awesome. The sculpture on the walls of temple are eye catching and center of attraction for pilgrims and tourists. You can feel the sprituality of this temple if you stay here for a while and sit.

So divine experience. Such a calm feeling. Khatu shyam ji idol gas also placed. You cam get Prasad and flowers ets from outside. It closed at 12noon everyday and open at 4 pm in the evening. It is in front of red fort . At around 10 steps ahead there is a gurdwara also . And you can go for shopping in chandni chowk. The nearest metro station is Lal Kila. From there it is just 10 to 20 steps ahead. Must visit.

    (Translated by Google) My fourth generation is looking at this temple when there used to be shops at the main gate here. The story of the temple committee had called a meeting to vacate the shop that the shopkeepers are asking for a lot of money to vacate the place, then 1 elder whose dirty clothes He stood up and asked, how much money are the shopkeepers asking for, stand on the shopkeepers, I will give the money. Told me in my tau ji (Original)

Shree gaurishankar temple in chandni chowk is one of Delhi’s oldest temple. Some believe it is more than 800 years old. The temple is very sacred. Lord Shiva being the primary diety of the temple it remains very busy on Mahashivratri. People from in and around Delhi visit it. It is very accessible opposite to the Red Fort. It can be reached via metro as well.

I am a firm SHIVA devotee and I am no one as a human to review any place of worship but I would like to add that the Priests at this temple are very GREEDY and casteist ...itz like they would keep analysing you and if you are somebody super rich and upper class then they will offer you prasad otherwise they keep all yhe sweets and offerings for themselves...I still remember the last time I went there ....there was a child who was crying for prasad ....the child' mother had to ask the priest to give him some prasad ... To which the priest responded in a very unpleasant manner he made a face and then gave the child some sugar crystals intead of a fruit or sweet....I used to go there every Monday that's why I am so sure about their greedy and casteist attitude ....they differentiate amongst humans....at such a pious place....which is very sad ...I have never seen this at any other temple.
