When I went there I took an auto to khatu shyam Dwar after that you can stay in dharmshala or can book a hotel they are also cheap and affordable and rooms are good. Food is average you can eat unlimited roti in a thali of 80 to 100 rupees. After that you can walk to shyam kund and from there towards Mandir by walking it will take just 15 to 20 minutes to reach the mandir from there you will have to get in queue to get khatu shyam darshan. I visited Khatu Shyamji on the last Sunday with my family. The authorities of Khatu Shyamji have changed the passage for Darshan for devotees. They have made 7-8 parallel passages using poles to manage the public. I visited this place first time so I was not aware of line system and entered 4th row due to which darshan was not proper. However, if someone walks in the first row, i.e. extreme left then they will be able to get proper darshan. For visiting such a calm place, there has to be demarcation for route by the authorities as it is not available anywhere. As far as parking space availability, they have plentybof parking space both paid and free. The charges for paid parking is Rs. 100/-. Khatu shyamji Dwar is around 550 meters away from Nagar Nigam Chargeable Parking spot.

Love the enrgy of this place and integrity of ppl of people I saw. People genuinely are helpful. Rates are reasonable...visit of the temple took about 30 min but that was because of wait of shringaar of shyam baba. Look for dharamshalas after walking in almost 10 min...not close to toran dwar...in case you hv not made arrangements already. USUALLY 4 hrs room is enuff..thereafter u can head to salasar balaji. No tkts anywhere...you cant offer anything to shyam baba one to one...just stay calm...do ur visit...do ur 1 to one prayers back home at closest temple.
