The Butterfly Park is at the entrance of Asola Bhatti Wildlife Sanctuary. You can buy a ticket just to visit the Butterfly Park, without having to buy a ticket for the Sanctuary. The ticket (which cost us, two adults and a child, Rs 40 in all, including the camera fee) can be bought at the ticket counter just inside the gate of the sanctuary. This ticket also entitles you to go down the 2 km nature trail next door, the Neem Talav Bicycle Trail. Just near the ticket counter is a small food stall where you can buy soft drinks, tea, and packaged snacks. The toilets are nearby (the ladies’ toilet was surprisingly clean when we visited). The Butterfly Park spreads over a large area, crisscrossed by paths, with plenty of trees, wildflowers, and cultivated flowers. There are signs explaining butterflies: life cycle, butterfly mimicry, butterflies found at the Butterfly Park, etc. There’s a small insect house, and a section of rocks and overgrown greenery, where butterflies (according to a sign) like to rest when not feeding. We didn’t see too many butterflies. As a Butterfly Park, this was rather disappointing. But as a nature area, it was pleasant enough.

The only wild life sanctuary in Delhi, it is huge but still under construction. It is near tuglakabad fort, near karni singh shooting range. Ticket is for 10 rs, car parking fee is also just 10 rs. Right now car can be parked in the parking area only but from 10th of march 2023 car can be taken inside the sanctuary where one may find deers and neel gaay. Lots of monkeys and peacocks are also easily traceable. There is a very big bicycle track inside the sanctuary, so it will be much better if u take your bicycle in your car. Going alone/ single is not advisable, go in groups. Overall the place is a good excursion for the people of Delhi and nearby..

Beautiful place, nicely maintained. When we visited (30Mar23), there were no real butterflies inside the park, but otherwise the park is nice . Small Butterflies were found near the Neeli Jheel which is around 15kms from the park and is the part of the Asola Bhatti Wildlife Sanctuary.

I visited bhati World life santury during week days and the staff of santury was rude and they were even not talking properly and the the main site of santury was closed and safari was also closed so I suggest you to not to visit santury because they had closed the main site and even they had cycles also and when we asked them to use the cycles they told they are for staff and then they gave all.the cycles to some family member who paid them money so everything was bad and I am writing this review because of their partiality during my visit

Yamuna biodiversity park is situated near Wazirabad in north delhi at the flood bank of Yamuna river. The biodiversity has been planned in two part first one for special flora and fauna and second one for flooded land. The biodiversity has been developed for the serving as pollution free Delhi and natural place for different kind of birds and plants. When enter, we found a notice declaration & a guide and from there journey begins. I have seen a old big tree and the welcome board. There's a big rock and sand stone which have been described as 600 year old. One of the good museum is also there where you can look picture of animals birds plants other species. Here a pic theme is showing you the importance of nature in our life. You can find the pictures themes of the journey of the biodiversity development through the years. One projecter showing extinct species and animals. A aquarium showing the water life of fishes. You can look some old images and things which are saved and showing here from ancient times. After you will go for green house gases , you can look here some rare kind of plants and suddenly I look at a peocock what a beauty she is! There also flood pond which is full of birds playing on the water and fishing in group. They are just awesome they are different in colour many are brown and some are white too. After we went to planted land which are specially developed for the development of forest and it's on going. Now there a notice board making us conscious about leapard and after we came back to the gate through some wet planted land. So this biodiversity is completely developed for saving the extinct species and developing the eroded land into the green one. You can go with your family and friends to this natural journey which introduce you to real nature.

Did a lovely Guided tour with Mr Sohail Madan who is helping with conservation of the Asola Bhatti sanctuary. Lots of butterflies to see. And a lovely walking track. A simulated rainforest was the highlight.

Butterfly park has great natural ecosystem, great presentation for the information related to butterfly and species. Do not confuse it with butterfly zoo. Tickets for Neeli Jheel and biodiversity are for 10 Rs per person whether adult or child of Indian nationality one can drive with their own vehicle or can hire cart.Tickets are available over the counter without delay. One can also rent the bicycle for neeli jheel track the total distance from entrance is 16 KM for lake

Its an OK kind of place... just like any other park... The ticket is actually a scam. Though its not much but still... You can carry your phone with a camera but for digital cameras you ll have to pay extra. No butterfly only monkeys disturbing people.

Visited in Febraury 2024. Entry fee 10 Rs per person.,Car parking fee is 10 Rs .Entry Time is 9 AM to 2 PM. Park closes at 4 30 PM. We could not see any animal or butterfly in the butterfly garden. Neeli jheel is inside but 16 kms far from the enterance. Private car is not allowed to go till neeli jheel. Park provide its cars but only in the morning 9 AM. You can take plants free from nursery but very few species are available. Bonsai plants were seen but they were to send to the Delhi Govt official's home. Not for public and not for sale! This park can be better and more public friendly.

Lovely place to visit with the family. Best time in summer would be early morning at 6am, that's when it opens. Don't forget to take water and something to eat as there are limited options available here

Brilliant place. Why don't we visit such places? It has got so many different flowers and common plants that are lush. And for butterfly lovers, this place is a must go. You won't find tonnes of butterflies but whatever little you can't find in the city is found here. There's also a nursery right next to it which gives you free plants for home and even organisational work. It's open most of the days but call them before you go. You will love resting here too. And try and go to the wildlife sanctuary which is right there. It's next on my list for sure.

This butterfly park is located within asola bhatti wildlife sanctuary. Place is well maintained. Park is just near entrance so not that much serene and quite. You can see variety of butterflies and flowers there. Beautifully decorated sitting places are everywhere within the park. Roads on the ridges in delhi are beautiful, meandering, low and generally disciplined traffic. Place is near to the place where surajkund craft fair is organized yearly. Guided walk in asola bhatti wildlife sanctuary is available at 9:30 AM and 2:30 PM. I missed the guided walk timing and was alone so all I explored was the butterfly park without any guide as you are not allowed to roam in sanctuary at your own. Going in a small group is advisable at the timing of guided walk to explore the garden and soak yourself in the beauty of nature. Keep exploring the places of interest in delhi..... Happy exploring

Its unbelievable that we have such a place amongst noisy busy delhi. You ll be transported to another world in this natural forest created by humans. It boasts of endangered n regional plant varieties, rock sculptures, migratory birds, wild boars, peacocks etc. We even saw a green pigeon! Its a beautiful break from daily routine. But at present there is restricted access.
