It is also an excellent spot for watching a variety of birds that flock on the little island located in the middle of the lake. Entry to Tilyar lake is free. The lake complex also houses Rohtak Zoo.

One of the best Aravalli lakes made by mining. This place is a gem. Most of the people don't know where the lake is and that's the hest part of it, i have been here twice in just a week of time. We sat here for 3 hours and nobody turned up, we had tea and some snacks which we brought from home. All we had was nature's serenity and its voice. I hope this place doesn't get spoiled just like panikot lake. Which has now became a fish market which even stinks like one.
