Had
a
good
but
strange
experience
here.
Based
on
reviews
and
cool
decor,
my
girlfriend
and
I
came
to
this
self-proclaimed
"family
restaurant"
for
dinner
on
a
Friday
night.
We
had
briyani,
afghan
chicken,
and
dal
makhni,
which
were
all
excellent.
A
band
started
arriving
one
by
one
and
half-heartedly
playing
music
between
playing
on
their
smartphones.
The
place
slowly
got
busy
and
seemed
to
be
100%
male,
which
we
attributed
to
being
the
Friday
after-work
croud,
but
soon
the
dancing
started
and
we
realized
why.
The
style
of
dance
and
the
crowd
made
this
seem
more
like
a
gentlemen's
club
than
a
family
restaurant.
The
dancing
was
still
entertaining
and
we
stayed
for
a
few
songs
before
leaving.
The
staff
were
good
until
we
didn't
order
another
round
of
drinks
-
they
quickly
brought
the
bill
and
the
second
I
paid,
they
asked
us
to
leave
our
table
for
another
group,
even
though
we
still
had
1/3
of
our
drinks
left.
I
found
this
quite
rude,
and
our
server
asked
us
for
a
tip,
which
maybe
is
expected
from
the
clientele
at
this
type
of
place,
but
combined
with
the
way
we
were
asked
to
leave
it
left
a
bad
impression
on
an
otherwise
very
good
experience.
