After thorough research, my parents and I decided to use DIPT to do Char Dham Yatra up in the Himalayas for 12 days and a sight-seeing customized tour of Delhi, Mathura, Vrindavan, Agra, Ranthambore, and Jaipur for 7 days. DIPT also provides very clean air-conditioned vehicles, knowledgeable tour guides, and experienced drivers (skilled at overcoming any terrain). Our driver for the entire 19 days was Mr. Mukesh Ji who was AMAZING! He was able to maneuver through traffic and the sharp turns on the cliffs effortlessly. We even had knowledgeable DIPT tour guides in Agra (Mr. Vickram Ji) and in Jaipur (Mr. Sanjay Ji). They both were fantastic story-tellers and truly immersed us in India's Mughal history. We also learned a lot about the country's architecture and stonework in Agra as well as see first-hand the ancient art of block printing in Jaipur. If it is your first time visiting India (like it was for me) with minimal to no knowledge of how to speak Hindi, you have nothing to worry about. DIPT will take care of you without a doubt. Furthermore, if you have an itinerary on what you would like to see, DIPT will work with you and will provide suggestions to help make the most of your trip. All in all, with DIPT you can spend as much time as you like in a place per YOUR schedule or skip/add destinations as need be. I’m sharing this review after extensive research and experience with this private tour group. Firstly I would like to praise Udaydeep. He is very prompt and precise in replying emails. I micromanage everything and must have emailed him no less than 30 times! Each time he answered all my questions honestly and quickly. Second our driver Rajesh Sekhwat we have spent almost seven days with him. Everyday he has arrived before our scheduled appointment. He greeted us with a traditional Indian method. Floral necklaces. His vehicle is spotless and very comfortable. His driving expertise is outstanding and he has patience where one would not have! I am travelling with three young children and he has been very considerate and caring towards them. Rajesh isn’t your typical driver he engages with you and is honest. His vehicle had fresh bottle water and snacks everyday for us and it’s the little details which makes him outstanding as a driver. We highly recommend him especially if you have children and want a safe confident driver. Thirdly our tour guide in Fatehpur sikri, Muhammad Mehraj, he is exceptionally knowledgeable. He explained and answered all our question pertaining to Akbar his family and also Bollywood songs shot in Fatehpur sikri!. His photography skills are excellent he should be shooting for natural geographic and for those who know he looks like Ranveer Singh and been taken on a tour by a celebrity lookalike was an experience! Fourth our guide in Amber fort Jackie. He was very understanding and caring toward the children. He took his time to explain and show us around however one note of advice he may suggest a store where they sell shawls all at extortionate price! Just ask not to be taken there. Also he took us to elephant village for elephant ride however I also found the pricing there very expensive and I suggest to research elephant rides prices if you want this experience. Otherwise for a 10-15 minute ride the I can’t justify that amount of money! Fifth our tour guide in Agra, Mr. Noorhassan. He has over 15 years of experience and is also a history teacher. He provided us with In-depth education and in sight to both the Taj Mahal and Agra fort. He explained intricate details and information on both sites. I would highly recommend requesting him for your tour. Overall I highly recommend this tour company from the initial email to drop back at the hotel. They are also very reasonable priced compared to many other companies, they take care of their customers and are very punctual. They have very good cars and drivers, very professional guides that are very friendly and they are doing their best. We learned many things about India and they took us clean very good local restaurants and we didn’t feel as a tourists but like their friends. Great company if you are interested to do a professional and efficient tour around Delhi and Rajashtan. We went from Delhi to Jaipur with stops in Fatehpur sikri and Ranthambore national park. The trip was very well organized and they listened to our feedback. In Ranthambore we had a bad experience with the guide in our first safari, for the second safari they arranged a new guide and driver which was much better experience! We even saw tigers! Uday reacted very professional on the situation. Very big thanks to our driver Vijay, who took great care for us during the entire trip, very professional driver and helping us with everything we needed. We asked him to take us to local places etc so we got a very nice local experience also. The guides we had in Agra and Fatehpur ( Rahul and Ali) were also some of the best, speaking well English while guiding us around and took nice pictures of us during the visits.

I needed a company to help me with a car and driver, plus to assist with planning the finer details of a trip and I'm so glad we picked Driver India Private Tours. We reached out to 5 companies, DIPT sent us the best initial email with a helpful detailed quote. Although not the cheapest, it was the quality we were needing after precious trips to this amazing country. And it wasn't the most expensive either. Udaydeep was amazing prior to us arriving with regular responses to my many emails of questions. They arranged (excellent) tours when we wanted them (be prepared to learn, we had 2 ex-professors!). Awkward airport arrival times was no problem, and we had 2 different drivers for 2 separate trips and both drivers were fantastic (Mahesh(?) in Delhi and Jeetu in Jaipir and Agra). Geetu became a valued and very trustworthy member of our holiday and spoke excellent English, drove safely and had our safety as his no.1 priority. Vinesh organised 2 tours for us, one from Delhi to Varanasi and a second tour in Kerala. Both of them were amazing. We had such nice, friendly, and helpful drivers. Vinesh was in contact with us every day to check if everything was good for us and ready to change whatever we didn't like. We totally recommend Vinesh to whoever comes to visit India.

Our trip around the golden triangle was amazing especially with our driver Rajesh. On our first trip with Rajesh, Rajesh provided us with traditional Indian floral necklaces. Rajesh was always on time and ready. He always packed the seats with water bottles and snacks on our journeys. He was always very kind, honest and always told us interesting facts about the city and places he is quite the storyteller. Even our visit to Fatehpur Sikri was amazing. He provided us with one of the best tour guides he knows Muhammad Mehraj. Muhammad was a very good tour guide he told us all about Fatephur Sikri and he answered all our questions with amazing detail. And in Agra an Amazing tour guide is Hassan. Hassan is amazing because he knows all the facts about Agra fort and the Taj Mahal front the gems to the optical illusions . If you’re looking for a peaceful adventure around India with your family I recommend you have a drive with Rajesh.

Best for tour plan

I came accross TripAdvisor and found Driver India Private Tours is number #1 transportation on the list. I went to the website and reached out through a form for my plan to visit northern India. I got a warm reply from Pankaj, he patiently helped organizing the 4 days trip with me, although we changed the plan back and forth. I booked the private tour with my parents. After arrived at Delhi airport, we were welcomed by Pankaj and Aditya, and went immediately to the car after some brief explanation about the tour. We met the driver who became our good friend for the whole trip, Ajiit Singh. He gave us excellent service, very knowledgable about the entire area. He really knows what we like and what we don’t like, very warm and made the trip fun. He packed the car with various Indian snacks and bottled waters, and most importantly he provided wifi on the car for our use, which is very important for foreigner without Indian celuller network like us. We went to see Taj Mahal in Agra with a guide, Shajad Baig, who did great job in explaining the history, took all short cuts and navigating inside super ultra crowded Taj Mahal on Sunday afternoon (seems like he has great network inside the place to take express line for security check, going inside). He knew all good spots for taking pictures//selfies too. Taj Mahal was no doubt magnificent, but without the guide we would be totally lost in the area and probably needed the whole day to line up the queue. Thank you for having us. In Jaipur, the driver took us to the “secret” place to buy Indian handcrafts, bags, cloths, souvenirs, etc. on a cheap wholesale price. Also he took us to one of the best foods we had in India on the street: chicken kabab. The owner happened to graduate from the same college as I was in US. These “off the track” non-tourist places were what make the driver special. Overall, the pace was a bit slow since I went with my parents, but they were happy since we covered all main places and tourist shops. I would highly recommend Driver India Private Tours for anyone who wants to visit north india, they’re very flexible and accomodate our needs.

I was invited to go to my friend’s wedding in Bangalore, so I decided I wanted to tour around Northern India before heading to the wedding. I sent a estimate request to DIPT (I found to be top rated on Reddit, TripAdvisor, google) and 2 other companies that were recommended by friends. DIPT was the most responsive, cheapest option, and had the most active itinerary. Uday was the individual that helped with the trip planning, I meet up with him twice during the trip. He helped me get a SIM card, and coordinated holding onto a suitcase while took my trip to the wedding. I tried to pay for the trip by credit card, but their virtual payment system was down. I made the payment by USA cash on the last day. My driver- Ramesh is a pro, he loves to drive for work and for fun. He is a really funny guy, and extremely accommodating. I wanted to bring home India spices/teas and special snacks for friends/family- and knew the right places to go. He was always available by message or phone call. He is by far the best driver to get. My tour was the classic Golden Triangle tour- visiting Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur. All the tour guides I worked with were extremely friendly and made sure we visited each site during times when the crowds weren’t there. Vikram helped with coordinating in Agra. Sunjay “Sunny” was my guide in Delhi, Shahzad Baig was my tour guide in Agra, Ali was my tour guide in Fatehpur Sikri, and Himanshu Trivedi was my tour guide in Jaipur. Each of them were AMAZING, and did a great job at taking pictures. They did have us stop at the tourist type of store stops, but they made it very clear to me not to have any pressure to buy anything. Everyone I worked with treated me like family, and made sure I had the best time in India.

Very nice service. We did a tour from Delhi to Jaipur with stops in Ranthambore and Agra. However, after Jaipur we started travelling by train instead. This was not even 20% of the cost we had with the driver and it was very efficient and convenient as well.

Before our trip to India, I did a lot of research on the best tour companies and Driver India Private Tours had a lot of great reviews. From the moment I reached out to them, they provided outstanding service and met our every need. Sanjay, our driver, met us at the airport and was ready to answer all of our questions and made us feel very welcome, comfortable, and safe. The car was a decent size, clean, and newer Toyota SUV. We did a 4 day driving tour of the Golden Triangle (Delhi, Agra, Jaipur & back to Delhi) and everything was perfect. When Sanjay discovered my husband loves diet soda, he was ready with many cans every time we got into the car (& bottled water for me). In both Agra and Jaipur, we had excellent local guides. In particular, Shazeb Kahn in Agra took excellent care of us and made us laugh along the way. We also appreciated that the guide in Jaipur and Sanjay were flexible when we were tired out and needed to sleep in a little later one morning. They didn’t push us to see more and more but accommodated our interests. If you are traveling to India, I highly recommend this company.

Driver India private tours organised an awesome golden triangle tour for us. From picking us up from the airport to every step of the tour they had organised the tour efficiently. They go over and above making sure that every part of the tour was looked after. Special mention to the driver Kailash who was like a friend to us - looked after us and especially the kids from the start of the trip picking us at the airport till the end. The weather was hot but the car was well stocked with chilled Bottled water , sanitisers and the like. Also would like to thank Vikram our tour guide in Agra who was exceptional In making sure we not only visited places but also understood all the best aspects of the monuments we visited, the history, art style etc. Vikram was also exceptional In keeping kids interested throughout the trip. Thanks to Udaydeep for answering all my queries and for the best itinerary taking into consideration our requirements. I was nervous planning a 3 day trip to the Golden Triangle ( for the tail end of a business trip) from afar but from my first contact with Mukul to the last, I was put at ease. Mukul planned our trip and amended it based on our preferences (changing some sites, etc) and even booked us excellent hotel rooms at great hotels along the way (the Trident at both Agra and Jaipur are both beautiful, clean and the staff at each were hospitable, nothing but good things to stay about both places). Our driver, Ajeet, was also great and picked us up at the airport right on time (we were 1hr late and he was there waiting for us with a smile and water/snacks in his car). He was a safe driver and always on time each morning and at each site. The tour guides set up by Mukul were also great and definitely a plus for each palace/fort we visited. I tend to like doing research on my own but the guides were priceless in their knowledge and historical perspective (Rajesh in Jaipur and Shubham in Agra). Ajeet and the guides were also spot on in their recommendations for food (each place they mentioned was #1 or 2 on tripadvisor for each city and food was delicious - Bon Barbeque in Agra was fantastic). Furthermore, the places they took us for fabrics/pashima, gems/jewelry, and inlay marble were all top-notch businesses (also highly ranked on tripadvisor) and not rip-off places you fear when brought to by a tour guide. We could not have been more pleased with every aspect of the tour and to top it off, since we returned to New Delhi in the evening but had a 8 hour wait until out 3 AM flight, Mukul (the son of Pawan Sharma - the founder of the company) had us come over to his family's house for a real Indian dinner prepared by his lovely mother. The food was excellent and it was amazing to here Pawan's story and see their beautiful home. They are an amazing family and the success of this company clearly comes from their understanding of hospitality. I can't recommend Driver Indian Private Tours enough and will tell everyone I know who is going to India to book through them!

Recently went on a 6 day trip through Uttarakhand from Delhi.. best experience ever!! Mukul was my point of contact at DIPT and he was super responsive right from the time I contacted him. His quote was reasonable and everything was taken care of, right from when we started the tour at Delhi airport and back. Our driver Sanjay was JUST THE BEST!!! He made sure we reached places on time, had water bottles ready in the car, made sure we were comfortable throughout the journey and never once gave us a chance to complain even once. The car was very clean every day and he accommodated all of our requests and made sure we didn't miss any experiences throughout our trip. He never once showed signs of tiredness and was always cheerful and happy to help in any way possible, given that almost all of our travel was in the mountain roads and he had to deal with bad roads and landslides in some places too. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Sanjay for any tour since he is a very experienced driver but also a very warm wonderful person with a cheerful personality! We felt like family right from day one! I took the Sunset Taj Mahal tour today, and can wholeheartedly recommend them due to the quality of drivers they use and the friendly guides. My drivers name was Ajit and he spoke amazing English, we chatted for the whole way there about Indian culture and he was the kindest and most professional driver. I would book this company over and over again because of this and him. He was very punctual meeting me at the airport and courteous and very respectful of me, travelling as a solo female, I was genuinely made to feel at ease with Ajit and knew I would have an amazing day with him taking me from Delhi to Agra and back. I would recommend this tour for him alone and how professional he is and polite to guests, he was more like an old friend towards the end. I also had a guide Rahul who took me around the wires and he took great pictures (was very patient!) and was very knowledgable about the places. He made an effort to keep to your pace. Lastly the tour manager Mukul was a really really nice guy, he met up with me in Agra at the start to check in and see my expectations of the day (having been a guide for 15 years!) and also at the end to see if I had any remaining questions or anything he could take me to/I needed or wanted to see at the end of my day. Overall I got the impression that everyone in this tour company was really invested in that I have the best day, my driver Ajit told me ‘customer is God’ and acted in this exact attentive way. The car itself is spectacular - wasn’t sure what to expect and this was indeed a very luxurious journey, air conditioned, plenty of bottled water, snacks and chocolates, the seat goes right back if you need to sleep. I left my luggage all day while walking around. Super pleasant and high quality. I am so glad I booked with this company as my whole trip has had a premium experience because of it. I used Driver India Private Tours for 18 days in India (late October into November) covering Agra, all over Rajasthan, and Rishikesh. I cannot recommend them enough. My main contact was Uday. He helped organized and customized my trip and was always responsive and helpful, even with last minute changes. The vehicles were clean and comfortable, with wifi and plenty of water. My driver, Sachin, was "stuck" with me for 15 days. He was always on time; his driving skills navigating the narrow and busy streets was astonishing; and he always checked in with me if I spent time on my own exploring. The service included local tour guides at each destination, but you're not obligated if you don't want a guide. My driver to/from Rishikesh, Deepak, was professional, prompt, and courteous. The price for the tour was very reasonable and actually lower than another company that I had researched. The most important thing was that I truly felt if something went wrong during the trip, that Driver India Private Tours would take care of me. Fortunately, no mishap occurred and I had a fantastic time in India, thanks to Driver India Private Tours. I went to India with my friend Grace. It was a first time experience for us travelling, we had never been to India before so we did not know what to expect. We had an amazinf experience locally at jaipur and pushkar for 4 days . Our driver Mukesh kumar was very pleasant and helpful throughout our trip . Traveller was luxurious and always clean . Would recommend to friends. Our guide himanshu was also excellent for sightseeing in jaipur.

Fatastic services! Superb communication with Pankaj Sharma about all trips and transfers. Great transfers between Delhi airport - City / Varanasi airport - City, drivers perfect on time and very friendly! We also did a tour Delhi-Agra-Jaipur-Sariska-Delhi with driver Surjeed Singh, great driver, very relaxed and friendly, Surjeed gave good information, tips an organised several nice guides on the sights. Absolute recommendation when you want to tour around India! Great company.

We had a great tour of Agra and Rajasthan with our driver, Jile, who looked after us well as two women exploring this amazing part of India together. Our local tour guides (Rahul in Agra, Himanshu in Jaipur, Pankaj Meerta in Jodhpur, and Mahi Pal in Udaipur) were all very knowledgable, friendly and helpful with answering our questions and allowing us to take the time we wished for taking photos and understanding the things we were looking at. Udaydeep was great with helping us to book our tour and a domestic flight, and answered our many questions by email in the lead up to our journey. It is obvious that DIPT and its employees pride themselves on excellent customer service and satisfaction. We would happliy recommend them to our friends.

We where in Delhi and i called them on a Sunday short notice and they where able to acomodate us same day . The tour guide Shambhu was very polite and we had a great experience!!!! Also I think they have the most reasonable prices .

Who even told us the facts about the city that weren't aware of being in India.
