Do visit ahinsa sthal It's spiritual place, digambar jain temple Entry is FREE This spritual place teaches ahinsa (non-violance) You can see in pictures a lioness feeding cow's cub and Cow is feeding lioness cub. For going inside. 1st you have to enter, then on right side you have to take your shoes off, and place it in there, and then visit Bhagwan mahavir temple(Ahinsa sthal )from inside. Important - go at morning or evening, afternoon is not good, because the floor is heating on that time, you can't take steps on them, so be aware. Nearest bus stand - Mehrauli terminal Nearest metro - Saket station

The Ahinsa Sthal is a Jain temple close to the Qutub Minar archaeological park. The centrepiece of the temple is a 4 metre high sculpture of Mahavira, the last of Tirthankaras in the current era according to Jain theology. The sculpture depicts Mahavira in the sitting in the yogic position, meditating and looking serene. The sculpture is worth a detour if visiting the aforementioned park, but not really worth going out of the way to see otherwise. The sculpture is located high up above the ground, where you can get great views of the surrounding area, including the Qutub Minar and the tomb of Azad Khan. Well, you would if it wasn’t for the lovely winter fog of Delhi.

peaceful place for meditation. I travelled alone here before 5 years. The height of the Buddha statue is 13 feet 6 inches. Its weight is around 30 tones. The height of the lotus pedestal is 2 feet 8 inches and it weighs around 17 tones which was so divine. Along with that there were sculptures with great life understanding messages. This place is surrounded by awesome garden which is complete greenery and soothing as well.

its a huge place with lots of greenry. there is a huge idol of Tirthanker Mahavir. the system is good. staff is trained. there is separate section to remove your shoes and they have a library too. its like a temple only. parking is an issue here and you need to park car outside the property on road. place have very calm vibes and its very peaceful. google maps show wrong location but its nearby where it shows. google maps takes us to the backside of this premises.

Ahinsa Sthal means “Place of Peace” or “Place of non-violence”. The Ahinsa Sthal is a Jain Temple which was established in 1980 near Qutub Complex on MG Road. The main god of the temple is Lord Mahavira, the 24th and very last Tirthankara (human spiritual guide) of the current half round of time. In this busy life sometimes you want to rest in tranquil and peace Ahinsa Sthal is one of those uninterrupted & peaceful spots in Delhi. The massive and magnificent 13 feet 6 inches high statue of Lord Mahavira in Padmasana (Lotus Position) adds glory to the temple. The statue of Lord Mahavira was engraved out of granite rock in Karkala and it weighs about 30 tonnes. The elevation of the lotus podium is 2 feet 8 inches and it weighs about 17 tonnes. The statue is placed at the apex of a small hill. On both side of the statue placed on guard two brutal lions adding up the impression of the structure

It is a beautiful place in South Delhi. The best time to visit is morning or evening. If you entered in the campus then you feel positivity in your mind and feel very calm. There is grassland in campus you can sit or walk on the grassland you feel very relax. If you go roof ,there is a huge sculpture and that point the view of Delhi is awesome.

Ahimsa Sthal is a Jain temple located in the historic Mehrauli area of Delhi. Dedicated to Lord Mahavir, it is a beautiful and serene place that provides a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. The temple complex is built on a hill and offers a magnificent view of the surrounding area. The temple complex consists of several buildings, including the main temple and a library. The main temple is a beautiful structure made of marble and is adorned with intricate carvings and sculptures. The museum houses a collection of artifacts and exhibits related to Jainism, including manuscripts, paintings, and sculptures. The library is also a great resource for those interested in learning more about Jainism and its teachings. Overall, Ahimsa Sthal is a beautiful and peaceful place that is well worth a visit. The serene atmosphere, beautiful architecture, and rich history make it a must-see destination for anyone interested in Jainism or simply looking for a place to find some peace and quiet in the midst of a busy city.

very beautiful and lace This is a very beautiful and peaceful temple. I am here on Sunday evening, 21 January 2024. It was a very beautiful experience of mine. It was sunset time and the view from there was also very nice. I would recommend everyone to visit that place once. I have also made a vlog related to this on my YouTube channel. Ahinsa Sthal is a very quiet place, where there is a huge stone idol of Lord Mahavir, the guru of Jainism. Here you will see greenery from all around which will give a relaxation to your eyes. The nearest metro to reach here is Qutub Minar and you can also come here by bus or auto. You can also see the Qutub Minar well from here, it will be seen coming up from the middle of the trees. It looks even better in the light during the evening.

As its name suggests, the Ahinsa Sthal is dedicated to the concept of nonviolence. The main attraction of this site is the huge & magnificent statue of Lord Mahavira in Padmasana (Lotus position) which is around 14 Ft high placed at the top of a small hill. As Lord Mahavira preached nonviolence, this site has been named after the same idea. On either side of the statue stand on guard two ferocious lions adding to the aura of the structure. The stone architecture & sculpting around the statue is admirable. Ahinsa sthal is surrounded by a vast green area and as you walk down here you shall come across various boards that have various little poems preaching Lord Mahavira’s ideology written on them.

On the way of between Qutub Minar Metro Station and Qutub minar, you have Ahinsa Sthal @Lado_Sarai, opposite Mehrauli Archaeological Park. This place had a statue of Lord Mahavir in sitting position on the surface of Lotus Flower. The inner premises of this place had a garden and Jain temple. Footwear have to be deposited at the entrance and a few stairs have to be taken to reach the top. The views from the top are fantastic. The guards are very friendly and atmosphere is very peaceful here. One can spend some time in quiet meditation. The views are very nice too. The garden is nice and decent enough for some rest.
