Firstly, entry is allowed only after online booking. No provision of offline tickets. Ticket has to booked in advance I recommend 7 days before. It is closed on MONDAY. Entry is allowed from Gate no 35 (Near North Avenue Police Station) Completely recommended for Family and Friends. Scenic place, varieties of Tulips and Big sizes Roses. Tiny Orange tree is awesome. Herbal Garden needs more varities to grow. #Feel Good

Really loved visiting here. The centre of attraction are Musical fountain (with patriotic song theme❤️), Rose garden, Tulip garden and Circular garden. Opens in mid of February and closes in mid of March every year. No entry fees. But you need to keep an eye on online booking. Slot remains open only for 4-5 minutes max after 12 AM. Keep persons name and age handy before booking slot. If you are booking online from mobile, select "desktop site" in browser to show all options otherwise you will face issue in entering age. I hope this will help.❤️❤️

So refreshing to see the flowers , Medicinal plants, Bonsai, Hybrid flowers and off course the roses. No need for any pass or ticket, just directly go fir it. You can click pics here. You can carry phone. Drinking water, restroom and sitting arrangements made inside the Mughal Garden. No purse or bags allowed.( You can collect after visit) No food or snacks provided inside the park. Outside the park you can find snacks like ice cream , Bhel poori , Golgappa etc . Note: Do not carry and baggage with you. Have ample time. Take proper meals before entering .

This is the best garden i ever saw it was well maintained by the official. They have the proper COVID19 guidelines rules and you have to book ticket online because of the COVID19 norms. Flowers are really beautiful and so colourful. But due to the COVID19 Protocols some of the areas are restricted but you will enjoy it hopefully next year. There are many varieties of plants, flowers and they have also the bonsai section, herbal plants and they have 3-4 huge fountains.

Mughal gardens are a type of garden built by the Mughals. This style was influenced by the Persian gardens particularly the Charbagh structure, which is intended to create a representation of an earthly utopia in which humans co-exist in perfect harmony with all elements of nature. Significant use of rectilinear layouts are made within the walled enclosures. Some of the typical features include pools, fountains and canals inside the gardens. Afghanistan, Bangladesh and India have a number of gardens which differ from their Central Asian predecessors with respect to "the highly disciplined geometry". Amrit Udyan, formerly known as Mughal Gardens, is now an integral part of our Rashtrapati Bhavan (the Presidential palace). 'Amrit Udyan' means 'The Garden of the Holy Nectar'. It is situated at the back of the Rashtrapati Bhavan. It incorporates both Mughal and English landscaping styles and feature a great variety of flowers and trees. The Rashtrapati Bhavan gardens are open to the public in February–March every year during Udyanotsav. the garden contains three main sections, namely 1. Main Garden 2. Terrace Garden 3. Long Garden or Purdah Garden Location: Easy to reach. Cleanliness: The area is very well maintained and clean. Parking: Parking is tight in this area, plan accordingly. Overall, a must place to visit atleast once in your lifetime.

The best part of Mughal Garden is the natural beauty of the flowers and plants. It immediately gives one the feel that the plants have been allowed to grow and flourish naturally without trying to prim/ cut them to give it an artificial landscaped look. Also, totally in love with the Tulips. They made my day.

It is located within the Rashtrapati bhawan area and is spread across 15 acres. It includes East Lawn, Central Lawn, Long Garden and Circular Garden. It also has gardens namely, Herbal garden, Tactile garden, Bonsai garden and Arogya vanam. The garden displays more than twelve varieties of tulips, and more than hundred varieties of roses and apart from these flowers, other attractive flowers like marigold, dahlias, sunflower, etc. add more beauty to the garden. Expect floral carpets, musical fountains and vertical gardens. Visitors can visit the garden from 10AM to 5PM. The garden is generally closed on Monday. The entry is free. Generally it is open only once during an entire year, especially in February to March, but during recent times, it's open during the month of August to September. Confirm before visiting the garden. Entry to the garden is through gate no. 35 of the Rashtrapati bhavan. Various facilities such as Wheelchair, parking, cloak room, drinking water, food court, etc. are available.

It is open to the public for a few months each year, between February and March. There is no payment for admission and no money is collected anywhere. You are asked for your ID and other information, and a ticket is sent to you through email. Rashtrapati Bhavan, surrounded by colourful flowers, fountains, and our Tricolor fluttering high on the top of the dome is mesmerizing to the eyes and looks  Fantastic!! Inside, you are permitted to take pictures, creating an  excellent moment for photography. With magnificent flowers and greenery all around, the garden is truly breathtaking. It is unquestionably worthwhile to pay a visit.

The Rashtrapati Bhavan garden or presidential gardens is situated at the backside of the Bhavan and open to public in February every year. The Mughal Gardens is the most beautiful gardens of India and feature a vast variety of flowers. I had a wonderful time there. Everyone was so well mannered and there were people all along to guide you. The place is fabulous in many aspects. It is very clean. It opens only for a fixed number of days in entire year, so the rush is very high. Do book the tickets in advance so that you don't have to come back sad. Flowers are of all types and if you are a flower lover, you'll find it as heaven. Don't miss this gem. It is situated very close to Central Secretariat Metro Station. Autowallas will take you there at a very nominal cost. Do give a thumbs up if like the review.

Sometimes it gets impossible to frame the beauty of some places with words. Mughal Gardens etched close to the Rashtrapati Bhavan is one such destination in Delhi. Stretching over an area of 15 acres, the gardens are a paradise in the truest sense and is rightfully known as the soul of the Presidential Palace. While 1917 was the time when the idea of designing Mughal Garden started surfacing in the mind of Sir Edwin Lutyens. A leap of 10 years from then, that is 1928-1929 was the time when the Mughal Garden was actually given the endless charm of flowers under the direction of Sir Edward Lutyens and William Mustoe, Director of Horticulture. Talking about the mesmerising places it picks inspiration from, Mughal Gardens of Jammu and Kashmir and gardens surrounding Taj Mahal are the ones to be given the credit. Apart from that the gardens portray a commingle of the Indian and Western style of architecture which can be seen in the form of English flower garden and Mughal style. The private hedges, lawns, European flowerbeds are made to match with the flowering beds, Mughal terraces, and canals which all in all make a sight not to miss when in Delhi. While roses take most of the attention of travellers here, as there are around 159 varieties of roses found in the Mughal Gardens. These flowers are named after famous celebrities across the globe like Abraham Lincoln, Christian Dior, Mother Teresa, Queen Elizabeth, John F. Kennedy, Raja Ram Mohan Roy, Mr. Lincoln, Jawahar and also have been named after Bhim and Arjun from the Hindu epic Mahabharata, Modern Art, Oklahoma, Eiffel Tower, Taj Mahal, to name a few. Other flowers that are grown here are tulips, daffodils, hyacinth, 60 types of bougainvilleas, more than 70 types of seasonal flowers and 0 types of trees, vines, and shrubs.

A stunning oasis in the heart of Delhi. The variety of flowers on display is truly breathtaking, and the garden is meticulously maintained. The main attraction is the Rashtrapati Bhavan itself, which provides a majestic backdrop to the garden. It is a truly unique experience to be able to visit the official residence of the President of India and see its beautiful gardens.

Popularly known as the “soul” of the Presidential Palace, the Mughal Gardens are located inside the Rashtrapati Bhawan Complex. The entire complex is a breathtaking combination of Circular, Spiritual, Bonsai, Herbal, Tactile and Musical Gardens. It houses rare and endangered varieties of over 159 floral species including tulips, daffodils, Asiatic lilies, hyacinth, viscaria etc. Timings: The time and the dates of public visits are changed annually and are announced shortly before the visits commence.

Spread over a vast expanse of 15 acres, Mughal Gardens has often been portrayed, and deservedly so, as the soul of the Presidential Palace. The Mughal Gardens draw its inspiration from the Mughal Gardens of Jammu and Kashmir, the gardens around the Taj Mahal and even miniature paintings of India and Persia. Sir Edwin Lutyens had finalized the designs of the Mughal Gardens as early as 1917, however, it was only during the year 1928-1929 that plantings were done. His collaborator for the gardens was Director of Horticulture, William Mustoe. Like the building of Rashtrapati Bhavan have two different styles of architecture, Indian and western, similarly, Sir Lutyens brought together two different horticulture traditions together for the gardens, the Mughal style and the English flower garden. Mughal canals, terraces and flowering shrubs are beautifully blended with European flowerbeds, lawns and private hedges.

Visit here on weekdays to enjoy it's beauty to the fullest. There are a lot of flowers like tulips, dahlia, lavender, chamomile, and various rose varieties. There's a bonsai section as well. The musical fountain and the circular flower garden is the 👌 best part

After a month-long effort to book my online ticket, I got successful in getting a slot just before the closeout of Mughal gardens for visitors on (21st Mar) this season. A dream come true..Though I was trying unsuccessfully since a month, I was really happy to get a last minute solo entry ticket for 20th Mar after the slots were booked a week back. The entry is free and no money is charged anywhere. You are asked ID details etc. and ticket is obtained on your mail. I went through Central Secretariat metro station which is about 2.3 Kms from Gate 35 which is the entry gate for Mughal gardens. (North Avenue Police Station for google map to avoid any confusions) Your ticket (Mobile or paper) is scanned and you are allowed inside but you have to leave your belongings behind. There is no spot ticket, only those who got online ticket are allowed. There is no deposit room and even water bottles are to be thrown in the dustbin here. There is yet another security gate where IDs are checked and sanitisers are to be left behind. Now the real attraction after the necessary procedures. After all its the Rashtrapati Bhavan of India and a wonderful & beautiful place..There is a herbal garden and Bonsai plantation at the entry which is just ok. The Main Mughal garden is just after. A real beautiful garden full of colourful flowers, fountains and our Tricolour Fluttering high on the top of the dome of Rashtrapati Bhavan in the background. Simply Marvellous !! Mobile snaps are allowed inside. So its a great time for photography. You will find mineral water with disposable glasses at the exit, also the washrooms. An hour which is the allotted time is sufficient for going through the Mughal gardens.
