This trip was a nostalgic trip down memory lane. There were two places that we used to frequent during our college days some 20 years ago before the YouTube madness had set in. Shabrati Nehari is definitely that one place still serving nehari that it used to then. It's remarkable though that the taste remains exactly the same. It is a must visit place if you love nehari, while ploughing through the narrow lanes to reach there is definitely worth all your efforts!!!

Shabrati nihari is an iconic place in old delhi for nihari. Now it's quality has degraded a little but still it worth a visit. It's located inside a street called Katra Hamza Azam khan. Their morning lot of nihari is better than their rest of the day nihari lot. If you visit this place, then also do visit taufiq biryani point alias dilpasand biryani point. They serve the best Delhi biryani ever. It's spicy and very different from other variety of biryanis. Nearest metro station is Delhi gate and it's convenient to walk from Delhi gate to this place.

Visited here for break fast on a Sunday morning. Road to this place lies just opposite to the Gate No 1 of Jama Masjid. Went there by walking. Have to walk a few hundred meters through the narrow road and then turn left to reach there. Google map is accurate about its location. It is a very small restaurant. Reach early in the morning, before nine O clock. Because they close shop as soon the prepared food is over. Food is slow cooked and tasty when served hot.

Best Place to eat nihari with nalli. I have tried nihari with nalli and bheja. I love this. One of the most famous places for nihari in Delhi. Timing: 6 am to 10 pm But please try to go there in the morning because in the evenings there are lots of rush. Rate :- Nihari with nalli -120 Nihari -70 Roti- 10 per piece Bheja -150 Water bottle - on MRP

This is probably one of the oldest Nehari shop in puraani delhi which serves amazing food. Loved the Nalli Nehari it’s cooked over 8 hours and the meat is so soft that is just melts in the mouth.

Best Nihari you'll have in your life, try out the magaj too, the place is a little tucked away in the streets of Jama Masjid, but don't worry the pin location is correct.

Very different from lucknowi nihari. Little bit over spicy, and totally different concept of serving. Gosh (meat) nihari served with bone marrow, instead of kulcha it's tandoori roti. But it has its unique taste and every nihari lover should try it!

Khameeri Roti was soft and fresh. Magaj was fantastically soaked into proper spices, nalli good. However Nihari could have been made tastier, supple and a little warm. During morning time this place is open after 6.30am in winters. Proper seating area available. Service was quick and courteous staff. They had given me their visiting card to which they responded when I called them.

I've been coming here since 2019. Although their Nihari isn't the best, it never disappoints me. The meat in Nalli Nihari was soft and good. The flavour wasn't very exciting. The prices have increased which doesn't match the taste. 1/2 plate nalli nihari was for Rs. 205.

As authentic as it can get. I have been coming here for a while but decided to leave a review at this occasion as a token of gratitude for these guys serving pure happiness over the years. I had magj and nalli Nihari with khamiri roti. Boy I was in heaven. This is an institution and a must try for global Nihari lovers. Wish they exported food outside India.

Many people will find all niharis are same but the difference is when you find nihari in cold condition you will analyse the quality of food. Same goes with this nihari because they are using good quality ghee and special part of meat which is called "bong". Its price 100 rupees for half plate nihari which is good for 1-2 people but if you compare it with other ones you may find them better as well but until they are in hot condition, once those nihari become cold you can find the real vs fake difference. One thing would like to say that any type or part of meat can be sold in hot condition and every one will find it tasty also no can catch the difference but if you are real taste foodie you can catch it easily. So be careful with fake ghee or stale meat.

Taste was ok but not extra-ordinary just like you can find anywhere else. Taste will turn good only if you are using lime. But big concern was simple buff nihari price was 125/-. I mean c'mon you will find a good buff nihari at 70/- and they will serve good portion of meat unlike them. The location is also not suitable to visit, it is deep inside lanes.

The taste is great and has the typical Nihari taste which you would be thinking before starting to eat. The atmosphere you eat in is not very hygienic. But overall a great experience.

This is hands-down the best nahari you will ever have, trust me on this, because I have been to many places that has nahari on the menu but no one even come closer to shabrati nahari centre when it comes to taste the best part about the dish are the masalas that they use It's been years that I've been having their Nahari and trust me it's gonna be many much more For first timers the reachability is a Lil bit tricky But once you come there everything is worth the effort

One of the best ones. The only one in Delhi as per my exploring till date. The hotel itself is not as per standard (hence reduced one star) however the magza and nihari are the best food you will ever meet.

By far one of the worst Niharis that I have ever had. The Nihari served to me was cold just like the khamiri rotis with it. To make up for the cold and bland Nihar, I ordered mutton bheja which was also disappointing. The restaurant is unhygienic and cramped. Hands down the most overated Nihari ever.

Authentic Nali Nihari place. Not that hygienic place. But the food is amazing.

  • 5/5 Mohammad Moin R. 9 months ago on Google
Amazing Nihari as always. Only problem is that they don't have a proper sitting area. It only has a few tables and is not suited for families.

It's really nice briyani chicken and buff. Small eatery like all small eateries in Jama masjid area in very small lane. Small place to sit but quick service. I would like to special mention the raita which I miss in all briyani shops in Delhi NCR. U will find that special raita here which makes briyani taste amazing. Long before I had this raita in Lucknow briyani shop and missing since then. Briyani taste is certainly better then other Briyani shops in Delhi NCR

This is one of oldest shops in Delhi for nihari as it was established in 1956 as far as I know timing is a bit of a issue because they open their shop at 6AM-10:15AM then during the day time it is closed but at 6:15 PM they open it again so plan accordingly.

Didn't knew kallu nihari is served in the evening. So went here and it was a beautiful mistake. Tastes awesome. We were the first customer. Go after 6:40 A.M. in the summers.

Apart from the grumpy old grandfather who is quite rude to his employees, everything is amazing about the shop. The Nihari, the rustic lanes and the nearby chai dukaan

  • 5/5 Roma M. 2 years ago on Google
The nihari was great in terms of taste as the meat was tender and there was appropriate use of spices. Tandoori roti was also soft and tasty. The staff was good too.

  • 5/5 Anup S. 2 years ago on Google
awesome authentic nihari. problem with sitting place only. Staff behaviour is not so good but nihari is good.

The taste was not up to the mark. And the quantity was also very little. They are not maintaining good taste now a days. It has happened twice. Don't want to go next time.

  • 2/5 Devam B. 2 years ago on Google
Nihari was the one of the thing everyone with me was eager to try. The shop is located deep in jama mazid area. The place is small. They have variety what you want in your nihari. The nihari was not that great the way it is hyped. The khamri roti was great. This was my first nihari experience, you can have your and try this place.

👍👍 Very tasty food. Its a must try item. The place is usually busy and crowded. But worth the wait i would say. Also they serve only half and full portions of chicken. Not too expensive for the quantity and quality. highly Recommended.
