It was such a great place dim lights mo focus everything was setup like gaon itself .. staff was good too

The aesthetic is awesome! The food is very tasty, the quantity in the small meals is a bit less, hence the four stars. But other than that definitely must give it a try!

Great place for thali 🥰🙀. Very polite staff and great service. The food was really good and very affordable 😊. I like the decoration, can remind anyone of village. It was but dark for me but that might be the theme. Its great place for group or family dining. Worth visiting 😊

Good place for country style food. The decor is slightly ott. The staff is very helpful and courteous. The food is good, I found the masala in the Champaran mutton curry to be slightly stronger than my liking. The non vegetarian special thali can easily feed 2 people, and the litti chokha with mutton was good too. Definitely recommend this place

Food is yummmmm especially awadhi thali and dal baati and the staff is friendly. Lassi was delicious but not as thick

As far as food is concerned, I ordered magadh Thali. All the thalis are limited if you want extra you have to pay extra. But the quantity they provide is so lot that it's difficult even to finish that. I felt that the sweet could be little bit more in quantity. As far as the prices are it's reasonable. Quite dim light and quite empty when I went, I was the only person later 2 people came. Nice ambience. They burnt something in kitchen and entire place was full of smoke that time.

Gaon is a theme based restaurant and they have beautifully designed it. Like, we do not find ACs or fans in gaon, this restaurant doesn't have them too. They have but not effective. And being a restaurant, I expect them to serve good food. My experience was really bad. Taste was as bad as it can be. I ordered Pind Veg Thali and Awadh Thali. I don't want to call them Thali, they were DISAPPOINTMENTS. 😒

If you want feel the vibe of a proper place there is no better place. Also the food was excellent, excellent upto that extent that I can't explain it in words. Try Pind Wali Thali.

Nice place. Was tired of eating out so bad dal khichdi, ghoogni, lassi and some shikanji. It was soothing and nice. Service is also great. Ambience of the place is relaxing. In addition, the place has a washroom (was decently clean).

I have ordered many times from here,visited for first time.Food was really good but what disturbed me was rats roaming around in restaurant. They had very poor sanitisation,since i had ordered i finished my food and left. I ordered magadh thali and it was yummy. There was just one staff,service was poor.

The place is nice. Food is good. Staff can be a bit rude but overall, should visit, especially if you live nearby. The ambience makes up for all other things. Loved the music that played. They add a 5% service charge to the bill, and that's the only drawback.

2 months ago - Cool Ambience, Average Food, Slow Service, Cooperative and Humble Staff 👍👍 Now - Food is ok ok, but the award for slowest service goes to.. obviously Gaon. 😅

Good food. Genuine price. Not wow level food but tasty food. We have ordered 1 Non-veg thali and Champaran mutton with parantha. They all were tasty. Inside decoration was good. Price for 2 is approx. 800 and if you are a zomato pro member then you can save more while paying. I liked this place

We went for dinner here and triedba few things including mutton litti chokha, gatta curry special, panner pyaz kulcha, masala puri, and bihari pulao. The food was exceptional though the restaurant got stuffy as the ventilation was not good and a/c's were not effective. Hopefully the owner would look into it and atleast not create sweaty conditions for visitors.

AC should be more effective. Suggestion to owner,they should put exhaust fan for better ventilation

Good options in thalis. The atmosphere reminds you of villages. Though the food is good the place was a bit overpriced.

Such a wonderful restaurant. Food was scrumptious and delicious with a wide choice. The best part is it can be shared as it's limited. Buy still the portion size is good enough for two people. It's lil difficult to find. You guys are doing really well.

Very nice thali and taste, akthough spicy. But one thing i want to suggest that for delivery , you should use good plates as thing gets mixed up upon delivery. I ordered three through swiggy and one got leaked. Other two, things got mixed up. Daal mixed up with choorma. Pls look into this matter and improvise on this
