As per rumours this is haunted but in reality it's not. If you're looking for a clean, peaceful location in Delhi then you definitely need to visit here. Very beautiful Jungle with various photographic locations. Me and my friend search every corner but can't find the queen there🤣🤣🤣

When i visited here it was closed as it is considered in most haunted places of Delhi. It was built by tughlaqs. As it's name Bhuli Bhatiyari is not perfect Bhooti Bhatiyari is perfect name for this fort. You can also visit Bhuli Bhatiyari jungle which is located just near to it. To come here you can get down at Jhandewalan metro station. If you get scare you can visit later to hanuman temple of Karol Bagh 😅 Someone rightly said: “Stare at the dark too long and you will eventually see what isn’t there.” Rings true for most of the places that are haunted. One such place is Bhuli Bhatiyari Ka Mahal at Jhandewalan near Karol Bagh. I had come across several articles, videos and social media posts about the place being haunted. Some said that this place is so spooky, no guard has been able to work here for more than one day. And that screams of women and children as if they were getting beaten up can be heard at this spot. You will find several stories about the place on Internet. One story says that inside the mahal lives a queen who had died 600 years ago, and that her ghost is seen here at night. Another says a person named Boo Ali Bakhtiyari ruled here, and the place was named after him and later people modified the name to Bhooli Bhatyari for theease of pronunciation. Another says that a woman named Bhuri from the Bhatiyar tribe in Rajasthan, lost her way and reached this palace. One day, Muslim ruler Sultan Feroz Shah Tughlaq came here. He was thirsty, so she offered him water and he named the place after her name, and since she had forgotten her way, it was named Bhooli Bhatiyari. When Bhuri died, she possessed this place. But if the historians are to be believed this was built in the 13th century by Tughl aqasa hunting lodge. Bhooli Bhatiyari Ka Mahal is under the Arc h a e o - logical Survey of India and currently being restored.

Some saaaay things go bump in the night here 👻🧟👹 Others saaaaaay this is just a random centuries old ruin hiding in a quite lush and beautiful park hidden away from the craziness of Delhi 🌳🎋🌴 All we know for suuuure is the remains of this 14th-century royal hunting lodge and walled off courtyard are locked up tight as a drum after sunset 🌇🔐👮 Reportedly these grounds are to be haunted... Even quite possibly cursed 🧙‍♂️🎱🪄💀⚰️🥀 All I'm saaaaaaaaying is this place is quite lovely to explore and there are plenty of super nice lil street pups to love on 🐕💗🐶🌌🐾🥳

Bhuli Bhatyari ka Mahal offers a captivating journey through Delhi’s history, with its enchanting architecture and serene surroundings. The secluded location adds an air of mystery and intrigue, making it an ideal spot for an offbeat exploration. Nonetheless, the need for better upkeep and more informative signage could enhance the overall visitor experience. Despite this, it remains a remarkable destination for history buffs and nature lovers alike.

It's normal and peaceful place,, nothing is like horror but there is some places which may feel like abandoned places and may some time authenticated for horrible view. There is peaceful place where some spend time without any kind of disturbances with friends... But there is no place inside where you bought something for snacks and water bottle so you have to it..... Its seems like picnic area.

Place is safe to visit. Police patrol vehicles present there. The "Mahal" is often closed. You do get to take a walk in the tiny forest opposite to it. Stay on the paved path & you're not getting lost. You'll have to dig in deeper to make things "spooky"! Keep some water with you.

I didn't feel anything haunted there. But it's very peace, calm and full of greenery. But be alert that is risky too, not from ghost. From bad people.

The maintenance here is very bad , No rules regulations work here , Close this palace whenever they want . May has been gone here for 2 alternate days, both days were closed, but it was open in Google Map. There are no guards . Bhuli Bhatiyari ka Mahal Karol Bagh, the busy market of Delhi, has a hidden secret. The area is identified by Delhi’s new landmark, the huge Hanuman Statue next to Bagga Link Services. Right behind this Bagga Link, a small serpent road goes deep into the Southern Ridge of Delhi. As you advance few hundred meters on this road, a strange structure on your right will cast a spell on you. 0 This structure is claimed to be the most haunted place in Delhi. There are no metal gates to be locked. The only thing that guards this massive structure is a note written at entrance, which tells people to not to come near this place after sunset. I had an unofficial chat with one of the govt employees associated with this place. He told me that no security guard deployed by govt survived his job for more than 2-3 days. He added, “I don’t believe in all this, but there is something suspicious & scary here”. 1 What is Bhooli Bhatiyari? 2Bhooli Bhatiyari (or Bhuli Bhatiyari ka Mahal) is a Hunting Lodge built by Feroz Shah Tughlaq in 14th century. It has its resemblance with another of Feroz Tughlaq’s structure, ‘Malcha Mahal’. The structure is entered by a huge rubble masonry gate, which takes you to a small zone. Another doorway with corbelled arches welcomes you to the huge open square courtyard. On sides, we have rooms, used by people who stayed here during the hunting season. Towards north, it has a semi-circular structure accessed through a plight of stairs. On one corner, we have a modern toilet, which was built by Delhi Tourism in hope to promote this place. But it lies deserted as no govt guard was able to come near this place. We can imagine, that the hunters back in Tughlaq days could have seen the entire ridge from this mini-fortress. 3 This structure also has those elements, which are commonly seen in Mosques and Palaces built by Junan Shah Tilangani. On outside, the Lodge has bastions like a fort. The entire plan of this Lodge appears as if this was a safe house of the Emperor during some calamity. 4 Why the name “Bhooli Bhatiyari”? There are two theories behind this title. One theory suggests that this place, after the Tughlaq Dynasty, became abode of a sufi saint named ‘Bu Ali Bakhtiyari’. Bhooli Bhatiyari is simple a distorted form of his name. The other theory suggests that there was a Bhatiyarin (a tribal lady from Rajasthan), who forgot her way and ended up here. After her, the place became famous as ‘Bhooli Bhatiyari’. Is it Haunted? Personally, I never had any haunting experience at this place. I have been there alone, with family, friends and with huge groups during Photowalks. But perhaps the scaring spirits in this area don’t like me. The closest we went were when we were doing a Photowalk and 2 of our group members decided to drift away from the group. They went deep into jungle and tried to click a white wall that they saw. When they adjusted their cameras, standing next to the wall, they realized that the wall just vanished. They came back running to me and narrated the story. GP GP-2013-800px If you have experienced anything special here, do share with me.

Nice place to have fun of haunted place. But it is not haunted at all. You can visit there without any issue but it is not a picnic place. Me and my brother went there yesterday evening. We spent whole night there. But in the evening we explore the whole Mahal and there is a garden adjacent to Mahal, which is like a normal garden. But, you'll find sindoor, clothes and black magic things in some parts of that garden. In the night, we didn't found anything suspicious there but be careful there if you roaming around the jungle area. You may find drug addicts or robbers there. Be careful. Otherwise, the place is good to explore for those who loves to see these types of places.

Situated near Karol Bagh neighbourhood in Delhi, Bhuli Bhatiyari ka Mahal is a ruined fort cum gateway structure that was originally built as a hunting lodge by Feroz Shah Tughlaq in the 14th century. Reverberating with an eerie silence and a spooky ambiance, the fort is infamous for its haunted stories and tales of paranormal activity that may be witnessed here, especially during the nights. To top that, there are no locks or chains on the gate but only a warning sign that says not to come here after sunset. Nestled in between a dense forest, the monument is a protected monument under the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI). Surrounded by lush greenery and cooing of peacocks, there is not a lot to explore in the monument except two courtyards and few dilapidated rooms. However, the place is still a curious attraction and every day a lot of youngsters come here to explore the place and to verify the haunted tales. During the day time, you can also find a guard here who can satiate your curiosity.

Bhuli Bhatiyari Ka Mahal is labeled as one of the spooky places in Delhi but I don't find any ghosts here in two visits of this place. Yes the place is deserted, silent which give some eerie feeling and make you believe some coincidences as ghostly experience. Like the one we felt which looks a coincidence if I think more about it. But if govt develop this place more the footfall their will increase.

The Bhooli Bhatiyari ka Mahal is a haunted mansion in the middle of a dense forest on the north-west border of Delhi. Today the remains of this royal mansion & courtyard are seen. When I visited this place yesterday it was a sunny afternoon but the place seemed dark being surrounded by dense forest and since barely any visitors throng there, it was a deserted place. The tour guide and the security person both were not in uniform and stared at me with a strange feeling in their eyes. Soon two girls arrived there wearing completely black dresses and sat down right in front of the entrance and did not talk to each other. I realized that this is a spooky place and proceeded to walk around the mansion. There was dense jungle on all sides with eerie silence interrupted by an odd Owl making sound occasionally.

A less popular small nice place. Not actually a fort but a big structure for hunting near a water reserve. Such places in Delhi should display some historical information to generate some interest. We spotted a huge (close to 24 feet) cactus tree on the back side of the walls. There was a lot of plastic litter in that area which could have been maintained better.

A small fort with remains of the place. Not a good idea to see as it is ignored by govt as well as tourists.. No facilities, no cleanliness on the road sides. Have something spooky environment. We felt cutting of trees n people talking behind the remains of fort. However there was no one. Some one threw stones. Not safe for girls. Even the caretaker will also give you a strange n spooky expressions as nobody comes to visit this place. No person is allowed to enter inside that place. Not even in day time.

Located behind the Hanuman Mandir near the Jhandewalan Metro Station, there are numerous reports dictating the history of this place. One part common to all of them is that this place was built as a hunting lodge in the 14th century by Feroz Shah Tughlaq. It has its resemblance with another of Feroz Tughlaq’s structure, ‘Malcha Mahal’. This structure also has those elements, which are commonly seen in Mosques and Palaces built by Junan Shah Tilangani. Despite its spooky reputation, Bhuli Bhatiyari ka Mahal is a popular spot for photography and nature walks. The palace is located in the middle of a dense forest, which provides a serene and peaceful environment for visitors. It is also a popular destination for people interested in history and architecture, as the palace is a fine example of medieval architecture.

Seriously this place is good for peacefully people's. Try to go with two or three people of group because bad boys and drunkers also come here. There are many scary stories related with this fort, one story is found about this mysterious and scary fort that is once a woman from a Rajasthani tribe had lost her way at this place but she liked this place so she stayed there. It is said that this place was named Bhuli Bhatiyarin because of that Rajasthani woman forgetting her way and then staying at this place forever.

I went there once and it was under repair. Early morning around 7.30am. It was a nice place but there’s nothing as such to see. But once a visit could be nice too. Nearest metro station is RK ashram marg and on walking distance from it. Easily reachable by road, and have some space for parking too.

Bhuli Bhatiyari Ka Mahal is an example of Delhi’s 700-year-old Islamic heritage, which is named as one of Delhi’s premier haunted places. It was also a royal hunting lodge. Probably the castle of Bhuli Bhatiyari is a small fort built with the red stone of Aravali. This fort has two entrances. After entering the first entrance, a very small passage comes and after this, there is a gate to enter this palace, which takes us to a large courtyard. The rooms are built on the sides of this courtyard, which used for the royal people. There are stairs toward the north of this palace, which leads to a platform. It seems that the Sultan would be enjoying the festivities taking place in the fort and he would be watching the view of the forest from the fort. Even more in this palace, there is a turret-like structure outside the fort. Bhuli Bhatiyari Ka Mahal was built by Sultan Firoz Shah Tughlaq of Tughlaq Dynasty in the 14th century.

Bhuli Bhatiyari ka mahal. A fascinating piece of history in the midst of a one of the most hustling places of Delhi, near Karol bagh. Its a smallish ancient building - a hunting lodge/inn for travelers (as described by the historians), with nothing much remaining but the outer walls of about 15-18 meters and big courtyards on the inside. A very neat place without much traces of people or litter and has a lot of photo-op. There is nothing much to see inside, except the place has been intriguing the trickle of visitors due to the story of it being haunted and equally eerie name :). A fine place for a morning stroll if you are near by. There are various stories about the place on the internet about it being haunted which make a fun read and visiting the place even more fun :D.

Only thing haunting is what you've to go through to get here. Tons of garbage on roads and a place so dreadfully isolated it reminds of crime scenes in TV shows. Well the actual fort is little spooky and clean because no one visits maybe xD

And the best part about here is the view from the top of the Fort. You wouldn't believe that a place like this even exist in Delhi.

You can just view it from outside. No one is allowed to go in for now. The gate remains locked. You can expect it to re-open post pandemic
