The temple and its premises are well-maintained all the time. This temple is one of the most cleanest temple I've visited. Located a few minutes away from RK Ashram Marg metro station, this place is serene, quietly tucked away in the hustle-bustle of the city, peaceful and tranquil. If you're walking from the metro station, it is a 20 minute walk. If you're taking a cab/auto rickshaw/e-rickshaw, they'll charge exorbitant rates, you can bargain and get them to agree to come at ₹30-₹40. It isn't all that far away from the station.

Nic temple.. With traditional like architecture but with best level of cleanliness and facilities for public.. People visit mostly for marriage..and worshipping.. Very well established and strict rules and photos prohibited here.. And in fact .. your phones will be submitted in a locker before entering into the temple.. Very silent and good environment ☺️

A must visit in Delhi. Built by Sri Jugal Kishore Birla. Gandhiji inaugurated this temple. This temple is dedicated mainly to Bhagwan Laxminarayan. Best things about the temple : Located in a central Delhi. Easy access by private as well as public transport . Huge temple complex with garden . A masterclass . Car parking available. Bad things about the complex. Maintenance is average . You can find water taps everywhere but without water . Note : Phones with camera not allowed inside the main temple .

Bramha, Vishnu, and Mahesh are not Gods since God is an English concept which simply means Devata. In Hinduism Devata is, for example, Indra the rain God, Agni the God of fire, Vayu the God of the winds, and Surya is worshipped as the Sun God. Bramha, Vishnu, and Mahesh are Param-atma or Par-Brahma and there is no word in English that can explain the exact meaning of these Sanskrit terms. A closer phrase could be the supreme divine. You have to leave phones and cameras in a free locker since photography is not allowed inside the temple premises though there are plenty of interesting things in the backyard. For example, a 7-headed snake called Kaliya was troubling the residents of nearby Vrindavan and was killed by Lord Krishna. I challenge those who call Krishna'a Ras-Leela as vulgar to even catch a single-headed small snake with their bare hands. 😊 Accessibility Features: Yes=Ramp access. Yes=A wheelchair-accessible Entrance. Yes=A wheelchair-accessible Restroom/Toilet. Yes=A wheelchair-accessible Seating. Yes=A wheelchair-accessible Parking.

It was the first large Hindu temple built in Delhi and is often called Birla Mandir due to being constructed by the Birla family. The temple is spread over 3 hectares (7.5 acres), adorned with many shrines, fountains, and a large garden with Hindu and Nationalistic sculptures, and also houses Geeta Bhawan for discourses. The temple is one of the major attractions of Delhi and attracts thousands of devotees on the festivals of Janmashtami and Diwali.

My recent visit to Birla Mandir in Delhi was a truly enlightening and spiritually uplifting experience. Nestled amidst the bustling streets of the capital, this magnificent temple stands as a beacon of peace, harmony, and devotion—a sanctuary where devotees and visitors alike can seek solace and connect with the divine. Approaching the temple, I was immediately struck by its majestic architecture and serene ambiance. The towering spires, intricately carved walls, and ornate sculptures adorned with intricate designs and motifs, spoke volumes about the rich cultural heritage and architectural brilliance of India. Stepping inside the temple complex, I was greeted by the soothing sounds of bhajans (devotional songs) and the fragrance of incense wafting through the air, creating a serene and contemplative atmosphere. The spacious marble halls, adorned with exquisite carvings and delicate decorations, offered a peaceful refuge from the chaos of city life. Exploring the inner sanctum of the temple, I was captivated by the beauty and grandeur of the main deity, Lord Vishnu, and his divine consort, Goddess Lakshmi, seated majestically amidst a canopy of flowers and offerings. The sense of devotion and reverence permeated every corner of the temple, as devotees bowed their heads in prayer and offered their heartfelt supplications to the divine. One of the highlights of my visit was the panoramic view of the city skyline from the temple premises, which offered a breathtaking vista of the surrounding landscape, including iconic landmarks such as India Gate and Connaught Place. It was a surreal experience to witness the juxtaposition of ancient spirituality with modern urbanity, reminding me of the timeless and universal appeal of India's cultural heritage. In conclusion, a visit to Birla Mandir is not just a religious pilgrimage but a journey of the soul—a chance to experience the beauty, serenity, and spirituality that are the hallmarks of India's ancient traditions. Whether you're a devout follower of Hinduism, a seeker of spiritual enlightenment, or simply a curious traveler, Birla Mandir offers an unforgettable experience that will leave you inspired, uplifted, and deeply touched. Note: Visitors are advised to maintain silence and respect the sanctity of the temple premises when visiting Birla Mandir. Additionally, photography may be restricted in certain areas, so it's recommended to check with the temple authorities before taking photographs.

The temple is spread over an area of 7.5 acre. In the back side there is a big garden, parking fir cars and play area for the children and a few eatable shops. For 5 five decades temple provided meeting points and recreational area for the common masses. Unfortunately because of security reasons and prevailing covid-19 the temple does not permit any eatables inside temple premises. The management should consider the old good practice of promoting the temple premises as recreational and common meeting grounds for common masses once again.

It a very old and famous Hindu temple in Delhi also known as Birla Mandir . A fine example of great architecture, the premises of the temple are very well maintained and always very clean. Chants of different holy phrases pacifies your ears, the temple has a huge open area which has ample of sweet spots to meditate or pray. Recommend to go early morning especially of winters (do cover up yourself) and find yourself a sweet spot to pray/meditate.

Very nice temple of Lord Vishnu 🙏 There is no allowance of mobile phone inside the temple. If u look besides gate there is a locker to keep your phone. Keep your shoes out of the gate onthe own responsibility. There is a park behind the temple also which is very pretty.

Beautiful place but I am little bit disappointed... Krishna ki murti Ke pass ek pandit baithe Hain meri beti hai 4 sal ki hai wo Krishna ko bahut pyar karti hai vahan per do ladkiyan aai hoti hai meri beti un ladkiyon ko batati hai ki krishna yese hai Krishna mere dost hai Krishna ne mujhe bansuri bajana sikhe Krishna aise Hain...ye sab waha pe Bethe pandit Dekh rahe the.... Wo meri beti Pai itna loudly chillai Meri beti vahan se DAAR Kar bhagi... Main unse bol rahi hoon pandit ji yesa Kuch nahi hai bas wo bbata rahi hai un do ladkiyon ko ki Krishna se bahut pyar karti hai bata rahi hun ladkiyon ko Krishna Mere Dost hai.. but phir bhi pandit ji mujhse fight Kar rahe hai mujh per chila kar baat Kar rahe hain chauki galat hai..aap prem ki Mandir mein baithe hue ho Krishna Jaise bhagwan ke samne baith ke puja kar rahe ho aur ek chhoti si bacchi ke upar chilla rahi ho aap vahan per naukari kar rahe hain bus...aap ek chhoti si bacchi ka niswarth prem Nahin dekh paye to aap pandit banane ke layak nahin hai use Mandir sai unhe nikal dena chahie......

Lakshmi Narayan Temple (Birla Mandir), Delhi,India,Area 30,000 The Laxminarayan Temple (Hindi: श्री लक्ष्मीनारायण मन्दिर, also known as the Birla Mandir) is a Hindu temple dedicated to Laxminarayan in Delhi, India. Laxminarayan usually refers to Vishnu, Preserver in the Trimurti, also known as Narayan, when he is with his consort Lakshmi. The temple, inaugurated by Mahatma Gandhi, was made built by B. R. Birla and Jugal Kishore Birla[1] from 1933 and 1939. The side temples are dedicated to Shiva, Krishna and Buddha.[2] The temple spread over 7.5 acres, is adorned with many shrines, fountains, and a large garden, and also houses Geeta Bhawan for discources. The temple is one of the major attractions of Delhi and attracts thousands of devotees on the Hindu festivals of Janmashtami and Diwali. The construction of temple dedicated to Laxmi Narayana started in 1933, built by industrialist and philanthropist, Baldeo Das Birla and his son Jugal Kishore Birla of Birla family, thus, the temple is also known as Birla Temple. The foundation stone of temple was laid by Maharaj Udaybhanu Singh. The temple was built under guidance of Pandit Vishwanath Shastri. The concluding ceremony and Yagna was performed by Swami Keshwa Nandji.[1] The famous temple is accredited to have been inaugurated by Mahatma Gandhi in 1939. At that time, Mahatma Gandhi kept a condition that the temple would not be restricted to the Hindus and people from every caste would be allowed inside.[2][3] he three-storied temple is built in the northern or Nagara style of Hindu temple architecture. The entire temple is adorned with carvings depicting the scenes from Hindu mythology. More than hundred skilled artisans from Benares, headed by Acharya Vishvanath Shastri, carved the idols of the temple. The highest shikhara of the temple above the sanctum sanctorum is about 160 feet high. The temple faces the east and is situated on a high plinth. The shrine is adorned with fresco paintings depicting his life and work. The icons of the temple are in marble brought from Jaipur. Kota stone from Makarana, Agra, Kota and Jaisalmer were used in the construction of the temple premises. The Geeta Bhawan to the north of the temple is dedicated to Lord Krishna. Artificial landscape and cascading waterfalls add to the beauty of the temple.[4] [edit]Temple The main temple houses statues of Lord Narayan and Hindu Goddess Lakshmi. There are other small shrines dedicated to Lord Shiva, Lord Ganesha and Hanuman. There is also a shrine dedicated to Lord Buddha. The left side temple shikhar (dome) houses Devi Durga, the Hindu goddess of Shakti, the power. The temple is spread over an area of 7.5 acres (30,000 m2) approximately. And built up area is 0.52 acres (2,100 m2). The temple is located on the Mandir Marg, situated west of the Connaught Place in New Delhi. The temple is easily accessible from the city by local buses, taxis and auto-rickshaws. Nearest Delhi Metro station is R.K.Ashram Marg, located about 2 km away. Also on the same road lies the New Delhi Kalibari.

Great place for scenic beauty. But don't seem like a mandir since there is no discipline to do darshan. Tourists are behaving however they like. Other than this it's good to visit once if you visit Jaipur.

One of the best place of worship. Neat and clean area, Dharamsala also available there. Car parking available back side of temple, go to mandir lane for parking, there is a Park (Bag) there you can enjoy with family and friends. Nearest metro is Rk Ashram Marg Metro Station, Patel Chowk Metro Station, Karolbagh metro, from there one or Two KM it is. You can use Auto from there. Mobile phone not allowed inside the temple.

A beautiful temple in New Delhi. It's worth to see it. Just you cannot make photos inside. The police officer will take your phone. It's a pity ,because it's really wonderful inside.

The temple is really beautiful and the architecture is also amazing. The theme of colours is really eye catching and soothing also. It's really peaceful. The temple premises is neat and clean. You'll have a really peaceful and amazing experience here. The temple area is very quite and one can feel positivity and calmness. You can sit there and pray. The floor of the temple is made of marbles and it's neat and clean. There is a garden and other things you can experience and see while just visiting this beautiful temple. If you are planning your trip to Delhi or you are in CP then it's a must place for you to see and pray. The temple belongs to Lord Narayana and Mata Laxmi. Phones are not allowed in the temple you have to submit it when you'll submit your shoes. There's a small prashad shop just outside of the security check. They do a security check and make sure that you don't have camera or cell phone. So it would be better if you'll submit it in one time otherwise you'll go back there and have to submit it for sure. So must visit this temple if you travelling to Delhi and lives in Delhi. I also visited this temple for the very first time.

A beautiful temple situated in Delhi near the patel chowk metro station (approximately 2kms far). This temple occupies a large space and is accompanied by a garden which is used by general public for organizing events, marriages and religious functions. The whole temple premises gives a positive vibe, except for the tours and travel office situated inside only. The employees there were extremely arrogant for no reason whenever somebody made an enquiry.

The Shri Narayan Temple (Birla Mandir) refer to different Hindu temples or Mandirs built by the Birla family in different cities across India. All these temples are magnificently built, some in white marble or sandstone. The temples are generally located in a prominent location, carefully designed to accommodate a large number of visitors. The worship and discourses are well organized. The first one was built in 1939 in Delhi collectively by Jugal Kishore Birla and his brothers and their father. Later temples were built by and managed by different branches of the family. For both of the temples in Varanasi, the Birlas joined other donors to support the cost.
