One of the most beautiful places in Delhi. I am personally an admirer of Dr. Kalam and visiting the memorial presented in such a good and modern manner attracted me a lot. It had a documentary running and the views of students on Kalam. Quotes by Kalam were hanging on the pillars and it had a beautiful statue just at the entrance and the centre of the museum as well. The place is nicely lit and beautiful planned depicting his entire journey and achievements. His contribution to india are commendable not only as a scientist but as a human being as well.

Entry is free here, on the same entrance as if Dilli haat INA. Small memorial, even if you read everything you can finish in an hour, else 20 mins is enough. We can get a history of Dr Abdul Kalam Sir's life, his interests his collections etc. Audio visuals were there but they were not functional. I was the only person in memorial so not much crowded

This was a true inspirational and motivational place to visit in Delhi Haat INA. From the beginning to the end of his life, everything was placed so perfectly and systematic wise. From achieving great awards to great inventions, everything was mentioned here. His personal belongings are also kept here in glass boxes. It felt so real after looking at those items, felt like he is still between us. He's a true missile man. Proud of such a great personality. The nation salutes you. 🇮🇳

A must visit for young students. It's located within the premises of Dilli Haat, lNA. The museum was started in 2016. It is dedicated to President Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam's incredible and inspirational life and works. Once you enter you may find the place to be a boring collection of paintings and pictures, but once you start reading the captions and the story behind those pictures, you won't stop till you have read them all. Such is the life of the great 'Missile Man' of India. Place is dotted with inspirational quotes by the President and others. Some personal items like clothing are also put on display. You surely will leave the place thoroughly motivated.

Located at back entry gate of Delhi Haat in INA. Free entry. Very small but nicely maintained. Pens, combs, glasses, clothes and other personal belongings of our late president kept there outlining his simplicity. Photos allowed but videos not allowed. "I am not a handsome man but I can give my hand-to-some one in need"--Dr APJ Abdul Kalam.

This place was a closed exhibition hall inside Dilli Haat. It was converted to Dr. Kalam Memorial few years back after the demise of the ex president. It is a wonderful place to take your children to and yourselves too, to be inteoduced to the life of Dr. Kalam, the most popular and loved president of India. He is inspirational and his life journey should be introduced to children. Outside the museum, you have good open space to move and play for the children. Best part is it is inside the Dilli Haat campus, so you will have lot more to do. You can shop, eat, bask in the sun and can spend good family time. Best to enter from the back gate of Dilli Haat, park your car at the parking just opposite the gate. The gate opens to the museum. There is a ticket window on the left as you enter. Weekends or events at Dilli Haat tend to be busy but museum doesn't have much rush that time as well. Only thing it can affect is the availability of parking.

This place is situated at the backside gate of Dilli Haat towards Kidwai Nagar. It's is situated at walking distance from INA Metro station. There are many beautiful sculptures of Dr APJ Abdul Kalam with kids. There is no need to buy the ticket to see the memorial as it's outside the Dilli Haat. People often visits this place while entering or exiting from Dilli Haat. Recommended to visit as kids enjoy the place.

Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam - (15 October 1931 – 27 July 2015) was an Indian aerospace scientist who served as the 11th president of India from 2002 to 2007. He was born and raised in Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu and studied physics and aerospace engineering. He spent the next four decades as a scientist and science administrator, mainly at the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) and was intimately involved in India's civilian space programme and military missile development efforts. He thus came to be known as the Missile Man of India for his work on the development of ballistic missile and launch vehicle technology. He also played a pivotal organisational, technical, and political role in India's Pokhran-II nuclear tests in 1998, the first since the original nuclear test by India in 1974.Kalam was elected as the 11th president of India in 2002 with the support of both the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party and the then-opposition Indian National Congress. Widely referred to as the "People's President", he returned to his civilian life of education, writing and public service after a single term. He was a recipient of several prestigious awards, including the Bharat Ratna, India's highest civilian honour. While delivering a lecture at the Indian Institute of Management Shillong, Kalam collapsed and died from an apparent cardiac arrest on 27 July 2015, aged 83. Thousands, including national-level dignitaries, attended the funeral ceremony held in his hometown of Rameswaram, where he was buried with full state honours.

A president with no critique, this is the stature of the great Former President of India, Late A.P.J Abdul Kalam. Knows as the missile man of India, the scientific genius has played a pivotal role in taking India’s Ballistic system to where it is today. Hailing from Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu, A.P.J Abdul Kalam served a major part of his career serving in DRDO & ISRO as a scientist and science coordinator. A.P.J Abdul Kalam also contributed in the Pokhran II test site, India’s first successful nuclear testing. Known to be an avid science reader, A.P.J Abdul Kalam always promoted scientific studies. Even while serving as the 11th President of India, he focused on the development in the field of science. Popularly known as People’s President, A.P.J Abdul Kalam has the support of public and politicians from all parties. He was nominated as the president by the mutual support of Indian National Congress and Bharatiya Janata Party. Even after his presidency, he avidly encouraged youth to take science as their subject major as he believed the nation’s development lies in its scientific developments. A memorial built in remembrance of the Missile Man of India is the place where you can witness all his contributions and accolades. Situated in the Dilli Haat, INA, the tourists are acquainted with the life of the legend who made India stand tall in the World. You can check out the collections of books written by A.P.J Abdul Kalam and also books are written about him and his life. A man who spent his simple life despite achieving so much is the epitome of how down to Earth a person should be. Visit the memorial to honour the legacy of the great man and one of the greatest scientist India ever produced.
