I visited this place on Sunday with my friend. This place is near Indraprastha Park and has a canteen in the park. In park there's a lot of swings for kids to play. If you want to enjoy peaceful time here then go on weekdays because on weekends this park is crowded with families and children. Overall nice place and yesvyou can witness one of the best sunset of Delhi here.

Shanti Stupa opened on 14 November 2007 in the city of Delhi near Humayun's Tomb, though earlier plans were to construct the stupa at Buddha Jayanti Park. It features a Japanese garden surrounding it. Buddhist monk Nichidatsu Fujii of the Nipponzan-Myōhōji-Daisanga religious order originally planned the erection of Shanti Stupa with independent India's first prime minister Jawaharlal Nehru. Starting in 2004 in collaboration with the Delhi Development Authority and the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, three years were spent on the construction of Shanti Stupa. This Shanti Stupa is inaugurated by Dalai Lama. The Shanti Stupa receives 2.5 million visitors every year. Around 80 other such Peace Pagodas built by the Nipponzan-Myōhōji-Daisanga religious order exist.

Decent place to spend some peaceful time. But saw several people for casual evening walks. Needs more maintenance. No separate parking. You need to park at Indraprastha Park parking and then come here walking 2-3min.

Sanchi Stupa in Delhi's Indraprastha Park is truly serene and beautiful. The peaceful surroundings make it a perfect place to relax. The stupa itself is impressive, and you can feel a sense of calmness while exploring the area. It's a great spot for a quiet and culturally enriching visit.

I liked it very much and I was satisfied. It is a wonderful fort in the memory of Buddha. And I have a request to those who go here, please take off your shoes and slippers before climbing up.

The Vishwa Shanti Stupa is a Buddhist temple located in the heart of Delhi near Kale Khan. This monument is known as a symbol of Universal Peace and harmony, was inaugurated by the Dalai Lama on 4th Nov.2007. The Shanti Stupa holds the relics of the Buddha at its base, enshrined by the 14th Dalai Lama. The Stupa has become a tourist attraction not only due to its religious significance but also due to its location which provides panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Architecture of the stupa is excellent and looks awesome from distance. Place is very peaceful, green and serene. Opening Closing Time. 7 am to 7 pm. No entrance Fee is required to visit this place. Nearest metro station is Nizamuddin. It's next to Millenium park where you can spend quality time with family !!!
