Its a very beautiful market or exhibition where craftsmen from different states and part of the country show their specialities handloom and you get to see the different shades of India at a single place. I visited with my friends and enjoyed the variety of handloom items. Also the people explain you about their products. So its a good place to explore the culture of India.

I visited here for Woolfab exhibition cum sale which was going on from 17th to 30th Nov 2023. Stalls from various states were there. They were selling handicrafts and woolen items. Prices were on higher side but the quality of the products was good. Amenities like the washroom etc are available inside the main hall.

I visited this place with my friends for the SPECIAL HANDLOOM EXPO on 10 th April 2023. The exhibition hall was clean and well maintained (only the ceiling was not whitewashed), there were stalls of various states representing their traditional clothes (One can also buy these clothes), the only problem was that there were very few people who came to visit and not much people knew about this exhibition.

Theres handloom exhibition going on till 14th feb...the handloom products are available for different states....they are quite good especially the ones from Manipur are contemporary, trendy, reasonably priced, something different. Products from all states look good...there are Sarees ( Banarasi sarees are beautiful), suits, western wear, stoles/shawls, kaftans etc. I bought skirts, stole, woollens from Manipur, a dress from Arunachal Place, kaftan from Kashmir, among other things. They are good buys and help support local artisans who have come from far off places.

Cushion covers nd mind blowing artificial jewellery. everything is very reasonable in price and you should have good bargaining skills.. But the sarees and kurtas are second hand too... This place is near from gate no 2 Janpath metro station. This place had some hidden gems if you could find them. There is a shop, shop no 5 which we've visited last day, has good collection of t-shirt and jeans. This shop is outside of the market. You've to search a little. However this market is ultimate option for shopping for men and women. Cheapest rate market after monestry and sarojni nagar market. This place is just behind the LIC building of CP. Outer circle.

It was a wonderful place teeming with energy. This place used to have handloom showrooms from all the states and used to hold regular exhibitions with artisans from across the states. But now, thanks to the visionary leadership of Smrithi Irani and Modiji, this place is now closed. 😭

It has an authentic collection of handloom and textiles from all over India sold at promotional rates. The government employed staff and the staff employed by the regional pavilions is very courteous and helping in choosing the right stuff and designs. They have everything starting from women/men apparels to home decor items.

A good spacious exhibition hall, focusing primarily on handloom products. Bengal mango festival is currently going on here (16th june 2022 to 15th july 2022), 11am to 8pm.

I visited Handloom Haat for a sale event taking place from March 1st to 14th, 2024. Near Janpath Market 11 AM to 8PM. Stalls from various states showcased handicrafts, cotton, and woolen items etc . While the prices were on the higher side, the quality of the products was commendable. The main hall provides amenities such as washrooms, and there is wheelchair accessibility available as well. Difficult to find parking so suggest to use Metro and take exit from Janpath Gate Number 2 and 3.

Unique exhibition where craftsmen and people from various states showcased their art in handicraft. Good experience to witness culture of tribe states. The clothing and hand made items were good. It was GOI promoted exhibition. However same was with limited stalls. It's good exposure for tribe products.

Mango mela and bengal handloom products exhibition going on from 5th to 19th June 2023 at Handloom Haat, Janpath, New Delhi. You will get quite a few varieties of mangoes from Malda, Murshidabad and Nadia from Bengal (Himsagar, Lakshman Bhog, Golapkhas, Langra, etc.) are available. Apart from mangoes, there are a number of stalls for various handloom products such as traditional clothes, kitchen items, jewellery, home decor, etc. There are a few stalls offering food items like aromatic rice, pickles, papads, jams, jellies, fruit squash, etc. Food stalls offering bengali sweets, snacks, etc. are also there to fill you up whenever you feel hungry.
