rajiv chowk metro station fun facts Rajiv Chowk metro station is an underground metro station situated underneath Central Park at Connaught Place (CP). Rajiv Chowk metro station is said to be the heart of Delhi Metro. The metro station has a nice ambiance and is providing good facilities to passengers. burger king cafe rajiv chowk metro station Rajiv Chowk metro station has various food joints/ food stalls/ cafes/restaurants available at entry/ exit gates and at all the platforms of the station. Some famous brand outlets are also available like Cafe Coffee Day (CCD), Burger King, and more. All the food joints provide a lot of options for eateries but yes the crowd is a bit high during rush hours. So it’s better to eat outside the metro station. Because you will get a lot more options on eateries at Connaught Place.

Very crowded metro station. But I was glad to see with so much crowd also it is properly working and we'll maintained. There are several lines from the station. The station has I think 8 or 9 gates, that is so much confusing😂😂😂 I was literally lost there. Shops are also built there to enjoy your Free time. Overall very well maintained place. 😉

Everything is very systematic. All the labelling and diversions are properly maintained but gets v hushed during peak hours. Staircase sometimes gets too crowded and slippery. Glass half full, it's well maintained and hygienically I'd give a 5/5. Also, the location is top notch as you step out, you see this beautiful view filled with food courts for foodies and brand stores for shopaholics ;)

Rajiv Chowk Metro Station is a bustling transportation hub located in the heart of Delhi. Serving as an interchange for the Yellow Line and Blue Line, it's one of the busiest stations in the Delhi Metro network. The station's strategic location makes it easily accessible from various parts of the city. Its proximity to Connaught Place, a major commercial and shopping district, further adds to its significance. However, the station often faces overcrowding issues during peak hours, which can be quite challenging to navigate, especially for newcomers or those unfamiliar with the system. The platforms can get extremely crowded, making boarding and alighting a bit of a hassle. On the positive side, the station is well-maintained and equipped with amenities like escalators, elevators, and decent restroom facilities. The staff is generally helpful and efficient in managing the crowds. In terms of accessibility, the station scores well as it's connected to other modes of transportation, allowing for easy transfers. The availability of shops and eateries within the station complex is also a convenience for commuters. Overall, while Rajiv Chowk Metro Station serves as a vital transit point facilitating movement across the city, its congestion during peak hours might be overwhelming for some travelers.

Located in the heart of the city, Rajiv Chowk is not just a railway station. It's probably the biggest land mark and the providing access to the most central market in Delhi, Connaught place. It has many food outlets so you can grab a quick bite or plan for those meeting with friends or work meetings too. It's very well maintained and clean without a speck of dust. It connects two longest and busiest lines of Delhi metro namely blue line and yellow line. Although one grudge I have is that it's always over crowded with people having no sense of personal space, and lot of pushing and hustling for every metro that arrives here for both getting on or getting out.

Rajiv Chowk is like Bhool Bhulaiya of Metro Station. People who are not from Delhi might find it difficult to get the right metro line. They may find it confusing. I’ve seen people spending 10 to 20 minutes standing in front of map, even for hours to understand. After Corona people are still not taking care of things they should. And as it is one the most busiest metro station no will answer you where to go for your right metro. There are number of exist you may also get which way to choose leave the station. So, Before you come take your time to explore and understand it.

The metro access in the Delhi is very great. Especially the paths representation for the interchange is very nicely represented by their respective coloured sticker foot prints which can be easily understand by all the people read and unread. This is very good thing done in rajiv chowk avoids crowd and no need of people to guide reduced helpers in the metro station. Neatness is maintained thought the public foot fall is very huge. The time interval between each train is very less and very good connectivity.

So, I just stepped out of Rajiv Chowk Metro Station, and whoa, it's a whole experience! First off, it's massive, but surprisingly not a maze to navigate. The place is alive, you know? Crowds, but a natural buzz. And the design – pretty cool for a metro station. Found clean toilets too, which is a win. Food options everywhere, from local treats to familiar names. It's like a mini-city in there. Safe vibes too, with all the entry points. This station? More than just a pitstop, it's a slice of Delhi's lively soul.

Rajiv chawk metro station is huge metro station, just like junction to move anywhere in Delhi. Two metro yellow and blue metro you can opt. The underground station is situated at prime location called Connaught Place. Barakhamba, Janpath, pallika Bazar are nearby. Good place for shopping, banking, pub and bar. Old British monuments are well preserved. The metro station is well secured and well maintained and capable to handle huge crowd. Some more indicators or boards at each junction showing way to metro station is recommended as all British Era corridor, white pillors under each building are so common, that sometimes we confused, how to reach metro station... . .

The station is one of the best managed stations in the Delhi metro. It has several entry and exit points that connect to the website Connaught place. The staff are really helpful and decent. The huge daily football is managed very well and all the things function smoothly. There are several helpful signboard to help you but not enough guidance for the people with some impairments, although the staff helps out. There are TOILET facilities for both men and women. The men's toilet is unfortunately very outlet managed and it is mostly really filthy. The women's toilet is well maintained and clean but i would suggest all women to take precaution as it is nonetheless a public toilet of a station that had a vast footfall. Several FOOD shops selling birth Indian and western things are spread across the entire station. Don't worry you will be taken good care of at this station.

Rajiv Chowk or commonly known as Connaught Place is the main business and financial centre in Delhi. It is the night most expensive office in the world. The pride of the city, this area has a lot of heritage structures. Construction of this area began in 1929 and finished in 1933. As we all know that the Delhi's Rajiv Chowk metro Station has over the period of time became more and more crowded and it's very difficult to even get down or board a metro. The Rajiv Chowk metro station is one of the busiest stations on the Delhi Metro network and one of the major reasons behind its huge footfall is that it is an interchange station Delhi metro is a mass transport system. Very convenient for travelling around NCR but a very strange incident happened today while I was getting my metro card recharged, a transgender was taking a token to travel to some destination via metro but a man at the token counter denied him/her giving that. I wonder why did he deny.. like there is no rule which says that transgender cant travel through metro??? This is really the India which we are creating? Are we still so narrow minded? This is a transport system for humans.. & I suppose transgenders are also humans. Wanted to take the pictures/videos but could not as I was the only girl there..rest were men who were making fun of that transgender & were supporting that counter man, I could not help that transgender as I did not feel safe. We still live in India where its not safe to interrupt between other people's issues. *5 stars for Metro but sorry no star rating for whatever I witnessed today* But I had to star rate something so I just gave 1 star.

The metro station that I visited recently was quite impressive overall. The station was clean and well-maintained, with clear signage and a spacious layout that made it easy to navigate. The platforms were wide and provided ample space for passengers to wait for their trains, without feeling cramped or crowded. One of the standout features of this metro station was the availability of various amenities. The station had restrooms, vending machines, and a small convenience store that sold snacks and drinks. There were also several seating areas, both on the platforms and in the station itself, which was a nice touch. In terms of accessibility, the metro station was well-designed with elevators and escalators available for passengers with mobility issues or those traveling with strollers or heavy luggage. The station was also conveniently located near several bus stops and taxi stands, which made it easy to transfer to other modes of transportation. Overall, my experience at this metro station was quite positive. The station was clean, well-maintained, and provided various amenities that made waiting for trains more comfortable. The station's accessibility features also made it easy for all passengers to use, regardless of their mobility needs. I would definitely recommend this metro station to anyone looking for a hassle-free transit experience.

The place is very big and almost always full of crowd, as it is located at the junction of Yellow Line and Blue Line. But the good part is that you won't have to walk much if you wish to board the metro or change the line. Just being alert is sufficient. The best part is that there are good places to eat as well. You can grab a quick bite or sit and relax for hours. It's well maintained too. One of the most busiest metro station, connecting to all most all the routes. The place is quite well maintained for years now. The metro staff were very friendly on helping us with the tickets since we were new to the place. The best and the easiest of commuting when in Delhi would be this.

It's significance depends on many reasons like 1) it's location that is underground of connaught place 2) spans a large area with lot many every/exit subways 3) intersection for yellow and blue lines 4) holds decent no of food joints within campus in it's food court 5) multiple escalators and elevators to cater huge masses

Rajiv Chowk is one of the busiest metro stations in Delhi. And aptly so. After all, it's right where Connaught Place (CP) is - Delhi's most popular place for hanging out. The station is very nicely built and has lots of different exits. Just one thing, it could've been a lot better if there was a guiding map as to what exit to take, according to the various blocks is CP.
