While I loved the food, I would only give it 3 stars. Why? Because, the food here was boring, it's nothing out of the ordinary that we cannot have anywhere else. There are tons of other places which have better food and more flavor than this. 5 years ago maybe it was great. But now this place has lost its touch. Only thing I loved was Honey Chilli Potato which was made to perfection. Rest everything required something or the other. I would suggest to go other places for better Chinese experience.

The food was really authentic. People looking for indian flavour in the Chinese , Tibetan and Thai food on offer may find it different from their expectation since the food provided is very native to its origin. Worth a try. Presentation and looks 5/5. Taste 4/5

Awesome Tibetan food with quick and courteous service. We went there just before 7 PM and we were lucky to find a table else there’s always a waiting period. The thukpa and hakka noodles were extremely delicious. The honey chilli potatoes was perfect! The ramen noodles were a bit too spicy nevertheless delicious as well. I would love to visit again!

The food quality here is good. We ordered Chicken Thupka but unfortunately as compared to another local restaurant in the same area the quantity of chicken here was very miserly and it was loaded with noodles instead. We keep frequenting this place because there is an authentic feel to it. The food choices are amazing and the taste is perfect.

Had a great time in this cosy resturant. They offer different Chinese cuisine. Ambiance and vibe of this place is great. But this place is really crowded so be ready to wait for atleast 30-50 minutes. Loved their concept of saving writings of strangers on a tissue paper. You can read them while you wait for your order. I ordered cheese momos and thukpa noodles which was decent. Will definitely recommend you to eat cheese momos here. They should work on their crowd management otherwise everything was good.

OMG! This place is brilliant. I've had my share of Tibetan cuisine and the food at Kalsang is as authentic as they come. The vegitarian and non-vegetarian food all was equally delicious!! The eatery is quite small so be ready to wait. (Specially if you're a group of 5 or more) Overall, no complaints at all! Well.. except one... The staff should smile more. I guess i can't complain because it's always packed 🤣

Definitely a must visit place! They serve the most delicious Tibetan/Chinese food in Mussorrie. The food is served quickly. Quantity is too good. The food tastes awesome and the ingredients used look fresh. The ambience is ok as I think the tables are placed too close to each other. Staff is helpful but are not well groomed. Great place to hangout with friends. Also this place won't burn your pocket 😀

Terrible food. No idea why this place is popular. Anyone who knows what thukpa tastes like wouldn't ever come here again. They couldn't even get a basic tofu dish right. Horrible. Don't go here.

Must try Chicken Thukpa and Thenthuk! Quantity is good and tastes great! Also tried their Chicken cheese momos. The filling was good but the outer layering was too thick!

Loved it food. Ambience is okay. It is a very small setup and too congested. But I hot no complaints as the food makes up for every thing. Definitely worth it. And doesn't burn your pocket either. Enough quantity served, specifically in the main course

I am not a big fan of chinese food but I had heard a lot about this place so I went here on New Year. The restaurant is small and looks crowded. There is only one washroom, it was clean however. The service was slow maybe because of the crowd. But the people were nice. I liked their table top which was filled with fan letters :D The walls are also adorned by quotations of Dalai Lama. I tried their baby corn and spring roll and none of them were any good. Infact spring roll was so bad, I couldnt eat it . The two items cosyed Rs470 so it wasnt cheap either. While coming back , I slipped on the stairs and fell very bad, fracturing my elbow.

Kalsang Asian Restaurant in Mussoorie is a delightful culinary experience for any food lover with a penchant for Asian cuisine.🥟 During my visit, I had the pleasure of trying their famed devil momos😈, and they truly lived up to their reputation. The flavors were exquisite, with a perfect balance of spices that left a tantalizing kick on the taste buds. The momos were served piping hot, adding to the overall enjoyment of the dish.❤️ However, one aspect that slightly dampened the experience was the slow service. Despite the delectable food, the wait time for our order to arrive was longer than expected. It would have been even more satisfying if the service matched the exceptional quality of the dishes🧡. Nonetheless, the restaurant's ambiance was charming❤️, and the staff was friendly and accommodating, making the overall dining experience pleasant. The menu offered an array of Asian delights, giving patrons a variety of options to indulge in different flavors. In conclusion, Kalsang Asian Restaurant's devil momos are an absolute must-try for anyone visiting Mussoorie. While the slow service was a minor drawback, the delicious food and warm ambiance more than made up for it. For an unforgettable taste of Asian cuisine in this beautiful hill station, Kalsang is undoubtedly a worthwhile dining destination🥟🧡.

In absence of competition, they may be the king of the locality but they can be beaten by any other seemingly ordinary street food joint. Well, they are overhyped, over salted and kind of a forgetful chef heading the team. They extract the juices of the keema used to make momos of any other kinds of dumplings. The keema inside the dumplings are therefore very dry and natural juices of the chicken, lamb, pork etc are missing. I ordered pork chilling with black mushroom and bamboo shoot, the salt content was higher than usual. In another order they forgot to add mushroom and when it was returned they smartly served to the table next to us. Never order those colourful drinks.

Only authentic Tibetan restaurant you will find in musoorie... I already tried the Delhi branch but the taste of the food is much better here... Staff is really polite and listens to your need... Try to reach before the dinner time (7:30 pm) otherwise the waiting time could be 30-60 minutes. Recommended, hakka noodles, thukpa, manchow soup, honey ginger lemon tea

✍️...An electrifying ambience at this restaurant which is buzzling with tourists on the Mall Road in Mussoorie. Quick service, very polite staff and yumiliciously delectable food 😋🍽️👌. What more 😎to ask for after a long walk 🚶 on the Mall Road at freezing temperature 🥶. We had vegetarian spring roll, dimsum, Tom ka gai soup, thupka soup with noodles and Hakka noodles. It was outragiously divine🧘 for the taste buds. If u r looking for some spice 🔥 & colourful dinner spread, head straight to this restaurant now 🏃💃. A dhinaku dhin dhaa experience 😎😘😋🍽️👍👍👍👍👍 & full paisaa vasool🥳👌 💯

Food was nice. Authentic, good quality. Service was bad. I had to request twice for cutlery while I had food served. Tissue was given when asked only. These are basic and should be taken care of before anything. I understand there can be a rush and the waiting time is justified then. Chicken devil Momo - momos in sweet sauce. If you like sweeter food, go for it. Prawn Fried Rice - Good. But quantity could be slightly more for the price. Steam Momo - basic steam Momo

If you want to try, eat decent Tibetan/North eastern food, you must visit this place. It's on the mall road, about 1.2 kms from the Library Chowk. The approach road is quite small and only 2 wheelers can, so you would have to walk. Tried their veg steamed momos, veg devil's momos, veg American chop suey, fried rice. All decent items. The staff is courteous. Pricing is moderate. The atmosphere can though be better.

The food at kalsang is good but not as much as it is hyped. Over crowded and be ready to wait for about 30 min for your table. People standing at your head and waiting for you to finish your meal as quickly as you can. We ordered Chicken Tom Yum Soup, chicken momos and Chilli Chicken. Soup was really good but momos and chilli chicken were average. Quantity of food was more than enough for 2 people. There should be someone from the restaurant managing the crowd.

The food is really good. Be ready to wait for Atleast 30-50 mins for your food because of the crowd there. The music they play kinda gets stuck in your head and will help you go into your own trance state ;p However they have a really good concept of saving the writings of their customers for loved ones and you can find very cute little things in life of strange people and hence you can be one of them too. A must visit cafe. Must try their shanghai bowl and momos, oh they just melt in your mouth.

I had an absolutely wonderful dining experience at Kalsang Cafe in Mussoorie! My order included the chicken fried rice, and it was truly fantastic. Their green apple lemonade and mix lemonade were refreshing and perfectly balanced. The staff was pleasant. The overall service was excellent. Kalsang Cafe in Mussoorie is definitely a must-visit for anyone looking for delicious food, great drinks, and exceptional service.

This cafe is true to its name. The food is so good. But however the service is a bit delayed and availability of seats is a big mess. The waiters are very nice but they take a lot of time. Most of the menu items whenever we visited wasn't available. Also to my angst, they gave a packed up coke bottle of ₹15/- in ₹30/-, my question to the owners is that if you had erased or if you had served it in a glass and not a bottle, I'd be okay with the extra efforts you all put in. The food was good. I specifically recommend Thai Curries.

I recently visited a Ramen Shop and I must say, it was a truly outstanding experience. The moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and provided excellent service throughout my entire visit. The star of the show, of course, was the ramen. It was simply delicious - the broth was rich and flavorful, and the noodles had the perfect texture. The toppings were fresh and perfectly cooked, and each bite was an explosion of flavor in my mouth. I also appreciated the fact that the portions were generous, so I definitely got my money's worth. But the experience didn't stop there. The side dishes and appetizers were equally delicious, and perfectly complemented the ramen. The gyoza and fried chicken were particularly noteworthy. The prices were reasonable for the quality of food and service provided. The restaurant was also clean and well-maintained, adding to the overall enjoyable dining experience. Overall, I can confidently say that this Ramen Shop is the best I've ever been to. If you're a fan of ramen, you simply must try this place - you won't be disappointed!

This used to be the best indo chinese in Mussoorie but this place has definitely lost its touch. Thukpa was bland, devil momos which used to be their best dish was inedible. I really don’t know what happened to this place but definitely not coming back here again.

For the Vegetarians: I ordered Veg Thukpa and Tingmo with Datshi. The quantity of soup was huge(Enough for 3 People). Datshi was quite spicy. The taste of veg dishes is average and space in the restaurant is quite congested. Location is nearby to Maharaja Restaurant and Domino's, on the Mall road.

Tingmo (Tibetan bread) is a must try. Pork double fry is a very good option(well cooked and there's no chewy feeling) One of the best for Tibetan and Thai food. If u r new it's an ideal place to try for
