In
this
facility,
it's
not
healthcare;
it's
a
killing
machine.
The
chaos
and
negligence
I
witnessed
here
surpass
anything
I've
ever
experienced.
Families
receive
no
communication
whatsoever
about
their
loved
ones.
Doctors
strut
around
like
gods,
devoid
of
empathy
for
patients
and
their
suffering
families.
Critical
patients
are
treated
like
commodities,
unable
to
advocate
for
themselves
amidst
this
institutional
apathy.
There's
no
oversight
to
ensure
adherence
to
treatment
plans.
Infection
control
protocols
are
non-existent;
doctors
and
nurses
roam
the
ICU
without
masks
or
gloves,
jeopardizing
patients'
health.
Visitors
enter
the
ICU
maskless,
potentially
exposing
vulnerable
patients
to
further
harm.
Nursing
staff,
overburdened
and
understaffed,
lack
the
time
to
provide
basic
care.
How
can
patients
fight
for
their
lives
when
even
the
most
fundamental
hygiene
practices
are
neglected?
The
lack
of
care
is
appalling;
patients
entrust
their
lives
to
these
individuals,
only
to
be
met
with
indifference.
This
hospital,
supposedly
a
beacon
of
hope,
is
worse
than
any
government-run
institution.
Despite
exorbitant
fees,
there's
no
accountability.
Patients'
families
are
denied
access
to
basic
medical
reports,
let
alone
proof
of
treatment.
Meanwhile,
the
main
floor
is
teeming
with
redundant
staff,
while
essential
nursing
positions
remain
unfilled.
My
father,
initially
admitted
for
a
broken
hip
under
Dr.
Mahajan's
care,
received
subpar
treatment.
His
surgery
was
based
on
outdated
X-rays,
with
no
consideration
for
updated
imaging
or
compatibility
testing
for
implants.
Post-surgery,
he
was
discharged
prematurely,
without
proper
assessments.
Two
days
later,
he
developed
pneumonia,
likely
due
to
hospital-acquired
infections.
Back
at
the
hospital,
he
faced
a
trifecta
of
medical
teams:
ICU,
primary
care,
and
orthopedics.
The
disjointed
approach
to
his
care
was
emblematic
of
the
systemic
failures
within
the
hospital.
Primary
care
physician
Dr.
Rajinder
Singal's
callous
demeanor
further
exacerbated
our
distress.
His
refusal
to
communicate
effectively
left
us
in
the
dark
about
my
father's
condition.
From
now
on,
I
will
not
be
calling
him
doctor
as
he
does
not
deserve
that
title.
Timeliness
is
crucial
in
critical
care,
yet
Singal's
negligence
prolonged
my
father's
suffering.
Singal's
disregard
for
my
father's
well-being
was
unacceptable.
His
disdain
for
our
cultural
practices,
including
playing
religious
chants,
was
both
disrespectful
and
hurtful.
I
wish
him
no
peace
in
his
final
moments,
for
he
showed
none
to
my
father.
His
arrogance
and
indifference
cost
my
father
his
life.
The
litany
of
errors
and
oversights
we
endured
is
unforgivable.
From
unnecessary
insulin
injections
to
mismanagement
of
thyroid
medication,
every
aspect
of
my
father's
care
was
marred
by
incompetence.
His
surgical
site,
neglected
and
inflamed,
was
a
ticking
time
bomb.
When
we
raised
concerns,
we
were
met
with
dismissiveness
and
delays.
Our
worst
fears
were
realized
when
my
father
passed
away,
a
victim
of
medical
malpractice.
We're
not
alone
in
our
suffering.
Families
across
the
ICU
share
similar
tales
of
neglect
and
anguish.
How
many
lives
must
be
lost
before
accountability
is
enforced?
The
systemic
failures
in
this
hospital
are
glaring,
yet
those
responsible
remain
untouchable.
I
seek
solace
in
the
belief
that
justice,
in
some
form,
will
prevail.
Until
then,
I
mourn
not
just
for
my
father,
but
for
all
those
failed
by
a
broken
system.
