SCAM.
Beware:
The
doctor
prescribes
expensive
medicines
in
the
first
meeting
itself
and
would
tell
you
about
some
tests
without
telling
about
the
cost
which
their
idiotic
and
unprofessional
receptionist,
Sonia
or
someone
would
then
tell
you
is
9
to
13k
+
!!
And
if
you
don’t
go
ahead
with
the
tests,
they
won’t
bother.
Please
don’t
fall
for
this
scam.
Additionally,
I
could
not
find
the
doctor’s
consultation
time
anywhere
on
their
website.
It’s
only
20
minutes!!
1.2
k
bucks
for
20
minutes
is
steep
for
this.
I
don’t
recommend
at
all.
Pl
save
yourself
the
time
and
effort.
Scamming
patients
in
the
name
of
mental
health
is
LOW.
Shame!
Update:
Unfortunately,
I
can't
figure
out
a
way
to
reply
to
their
more-or-less
standard
response
below,
so
I
am
writing
my
response
here
itself
–
1. It
is
an
absolute,
shameless
**lie**
that
my
consultation
time
exceeded
20
minutes
and
my
point
was
that
it
must
be
mentioned
explicitly
on
their
website,
is
all.
Or
it
must
at
least
be
informed
while
booking
the
appointment.
Probably
my
fault
that
I
didn't
ask
(which
I
shouldn't
have
to,
in
the
first
place!).
And
this
defensive,
incorrect
response
of
theirs
is
a
confirmation
of
the
scam
that
these
folks
are
running
in
the
name
of
mental
health.
How
ironic
that
mental
health
professionals
are
themselves
gaslighting
people
who
seek
them
out
for
help!
2.
Again,
the
point
was
that
medicines
were
prescribed
unnecessarily
and
that
too,
after
the
first
20
minute
consultation!
I
had
to
negotiate
with
the
psychiatrist
to
not
prescribe
so
many
meds
to
me
as
they
have
side
effects
which
I
am
unable
to
handle
and
I
am
open
to
taking
meds
later
if
other
forms
of
therapy
don't
work
as
I
strongly
felt
that
my
symptoms
could
have
been
handled
and
I
was
open
to
patiently
wait;
I
was
not
looking
for
instant
gratification!
Despite
that,I
was
told
that
the
medicines
being
prescribed
have
no
side
effects
whatsoever
and
I
was
misguided
into
buying
those
expensive
medicines.
I
felt
pressured
and
went
ahead.
Later,
on
thinking
and
realising
how
I
had
been
scammed,
I
researched
and
found
out
that
the
medicines
unnecessarily
prescribed
to
me
did
have
side
effects
like
weight
gain
(something
I
was
already
so
insecure
about!),
nausea
(something
I
already
get
a
lot
of)
and
more.
The
so-called
doctor
had
made
no
attempt
to
even
find
out
if
I
was
okay
with
it!
3.
About
the
tests
– I
was
prescribed
to
undergo
a
few
psychometric
tests
with
their
in-house
psychologist
which
was
fine
by
me
but
the
psychiatrist
never
told
me
that
these
tests
would
cost
a
bomb
(as
per
my
standards,
paying
Rs.
13,000
in
one
go
without
knowing
what
exactly
you're
in
for
does
seem
a
lot!).
The
bigger
problem
is
not
even
the
cost
but
the
fact
that
one
is
not
even
asked
if
they
are
okay
with
taking
up
such
a
huge
cost
and
once
I
said
that
I
would
probably
not
want
to
take
the
tests
as
of
now,
the
receptionist
who
doesn't
have
any
manners
to
talk,
completely
lost
interest
and
dismissed
me.
It
is
such
a
shame
that
they
have
time
to
tell
outright
lies
to
defend
themselves
on
google
comments
to
maintain
their
scam
business
but
they
don't
want
to
take
the
effort
to
take
critical
feedback
and
improve!
