Navratras are coming soon. Public are waiting to visit Jhandewalan Temple on the occasion of Ravratras. If you live in Delhi, you must know about Jhandewalan Mandir near Karol Bagh market. Jhandewalan Mandir is very famous among the all people which come from not over the across the India even all over the world. Jhandewalan Temple run by a non profit trust name Badri Bhagat Jhandewalan Mandir Society. In the navratras, you can see 1000s of people in a day in a line, standing and waiting for their turn. I am also from Delhi, In the childhood, I have also waiting for my turn but still I am a man and do not be stand in the line for my turn. If are coming from outside of Delhi, it is near to New Delhi Railway station and Jhandewalan metro station (walk away from jhandewalan metro station), from New Delhi Railway station it would be 2.2 Km far away. Delhi is a capital of India. Transportation system in Delhi is quite good as comparison to other states. Delhi Metro is the best solution to avoid traffic in Delhi. Delhi Metro is connected to every wheres, you can reach anywhere by Delhi Metro. Jhandelwan is beautiful place for visitors those want to visit for Jhandewalan darsan. Jai Mata Ki

It's among the oldest temple in delhi and nearest the jhandewalan metro station. It's is made during the 18th century and still exists it's fascinates me. It is very large temple but due to covid very few people were there when I visited this temple, everything is seamless and hassle free.

Jhandewalan mandir is not very near to jhandewalan metro station, you will have to take a 10 rs e-rickshaw ride to reach there. Prasad is not allowed inside ever since corona came, shoe keeping facility for free is available near mandir gate.

The place is very nice but lack of public transportation is a negative point. Easy to reach if travelling with personal vehicle. Good to see that covid norms are being followed and place is well organised.

One of the best mata mandir in Delhi. It's architecture is also unique. It is very crowded during navraatri. Due to covid outside prashad is not allowed. Idol of mata is eye-catching. There are also many idols inside the premises of the temple. There is also a Cave temple (i have not visited). But you can get the darshan of mata on the T.V. Nearest metro- Jhandewala and R.K. Ashram from an auto will take rs. 10 per head. There is also a shoe stand which is free of cost.

Located on Blue metro line, autos are available at minimal cost to temple. Visited on 3rd Dec so Covid guidelines are being followed. NO flower garlands or Prasad is allowed to be offered to Deity. However upon your return Mandir sponsored prasad is given which has delicious Kala Chana(black peas) and Halwa.

Newly built temple is quite stunning to look at. Due to covid guidelines you cannot take anything inside the temple. You can purchase prashad from outside if you want to take it to your home. A very special place for me whenever feeling low and upset I always visit the temple.

The temple area is quite calm and peaceful...... though one may have some difficulties finding the route into the temple....there is some construction going on inside the temple....but still the main statue of godess can be visited.......there are less people out there these days....corona guidelines are being strictly followed....worth a visit

Jhandewalan Temple is inside Delhi, very beautifully decorated. I went to this temple in navratri after many years. It is very heartening to see such temples are rarely seen among Hindus where so much cleanliness and such good arrangements are made.

You will really feel blessed when you visit this temple. This is one of the oldest temple in National Capital region, Delhi. It's located on Rani Jhansi Road and close to Jhandewalan Metro Station. It's about 10 Minutes walk from metro station to the temple. I visited during Corona Pandemic, therefore saw very less crowd as precautionary measure and nothing is offered by devotees during this period. I must recommend to visit this temple and get the blessings.

Very well maintained temple. They have a very good parking as well for both 2 wheelers as well as 4 wheelers. For 2W, it is right on the main road itself while for 4W you will have to travel about 50 mtr from the temple and take a left. At first it may look like it is in some narrow lane but it is very spacious from inside, clean, convenient, free and there is a shortcut as well to the temple from the parking itself. If you park your vehicle on the road, they may tow your vehicle.

This temple is always my favorite,, recently visited now Prasad is banned and not allowed to carry any thing in Mandir,, you can not even take fruits and flowers... The Gufa in basement is siezed for visitors only management and pandit are allowed.. the cleanliness is improved because of prashad are banned. At the exit you get Prasad from the Mandir side halwa and chana Jai mata di

It's a pilgrimage fir Sanatan Dharma devotees of devi Durga. This temple has a very ancient linkage. On of the great devotees Shri Badri bhagat ji discovered the statue of 'devi jhandewali' from the earth of Aravali hills situated near Karol Bagh and Pahar Ganj in Delhi. That's why the name of tample is Shri Badribhagat Jhandwalan. It is believed that Maa Jhandewali fulfill every prayer of Her devotees soon. I also believe the same as I experienced this my own self. It's is also believed the Maa Jhandewali is linked to Maa Jwalamukhi situated in Kangra Distt of Himachal Pradesh. Jai Mata Di

Temple is very beautiful, but ever since corona outbreak, no parsad is allowed inside Temple. Coronavirus is over now. All the Temples are accepting Prasad offering, then why Prasad is not being offered too Maa Jhandewali. Are the priests in this Temple more soft and more prone to Corona than other Temples?

The temple is very popular with locals and tourists alike. When I visited, there was a steady stream of people coming and going. The atmosphere inside the temple was very peaceful and serene. I felt very calm and at peace while I was there.

Darshan: It happens quickly. The queue moves fast. We hardly waited in the queue for around 10 mins. during the Sunday morning hours. Strong n peaceful energies experienced. Blessed and contented. There's an underground gufa as well, entry to which was closed. But it was live telecasted on the TV screens around. **FOR 4 WHEEL USERS** Dont take your vehicle inside to park as the streets are narrow. Its at a 20 secs walkable distance from the main road anyways. Its could be crowded (it was on that sunday morning) and sometimes the street is packed for even a cycle to move. Timings: The temple is open every day from 6AM–9:30PM Services: - No tickets required. - Drinking water available. - Hand wash taps available. - Footwear service free of cost. - Wheelchair accessible entrance. - Parking lot.

Jhandewalan devi mandir is situated within walking distance from jhandewalan metro station. There are arti timings from 12 pm. So at that time entry is used to stop and soon after arti, entry is resumed. There are 2 gates for entry. Slippers can be submitted outside before entry. Prasad is distributed when you exit from the temple. You can take mata k shringaar ka saaman as chadhawa for pooja. There is also a separate place for shivaling within the temple. It was a nice experience..

Even with a huge crowd, the temple management organized everything quite well. The place is amazing, and the temple is incredibly beautiful. There are various gates to enter the temple, but if you visit during a festival, make sure you have enough patience. I found it very relaxing. Jai Mata Di!

Spiritual and holy place. Very neat, clean and good at ambience. Heavy rush during navratri but temple decorated well at that 9 days.

One of the serene religious places in the heart of Delhi. There are several sevadaars that are doing social work for free like racking the shoes and crowd management etc. You can click pictures inside the temple's premises. A must visit
