👍👍 This place is all about the food, and such good food. Be it the breakfast platter, the thali or the chicken biryani...you can vouch for the food! I specially take delight in the cute little breakfast platter which comes with the filter coffee delight on the side! And oh, the idli...it just melts in... People often mention taste, good, Andhra, thali, chicken, people, time, visit, canteen, biryani,

I specially take delight in the cute little breakfast platter which comes with the filter coffee delight on the side! And oh, the idli...it just melts in your mouth!!! The mutton and chicken fry and the "baigan" sabzi in the veg thali are all worth trying. So, for an authentic Andhra taste, the place is not to be missed!

Try Biryani at least once. Too delicious. Also if you are fond of different tastes in Mughlai cuisine,. Go for mutton fry. Totally mouth watering stuff. Thali are also at least once a try material..for vegetarian people. Go soon to take a token, else queues and waiting starts after 12. Limited quantity is there, so it gets finished by 2 - 2.30.

The Andhra Thali was a delightful culinary experience. The vibrant flavors, spicy curries, and assortment of dishes showcased the rich heritage and taste of Andhra cuisine. Highly recommended!

It's one of the famous and old eateries and it's worth it. The service staff are really nice. The food decently prices with good portions. I tried Andhra veg thali, chicken fry and chicken biryani. The chicken fry is on the spicier side. Quantities are good as well. It can get crowded during lunch times, but service is fast. Would recommend definitely

Andhra Bhavan is a few facto destination for delectable veg as well as non veg South Indian food. It is always packed with people which leads to the fact that most of Delhi loves the food here

Great veg thali at lunch only for 190rs, and i loved the people here. Staff is so polite, and they keep an eye on the eye, so if anything is getting finished on your plate, they will come to you for a refill within 1 minute. The atmosphere is so different from any other place in Delhi. It's like mini AP within because a lot of native comes here, and staff is mainly from AP. Just a little crowded, so expect to wait a little.

Overrated and Overhyped place. Sorry to say this but this place has no taste at all, their biryani is the only good thing but u need to be fortunate enough to get it because most of the time it is out of stock.. The worst part about this place is that you have to buy a thali first and then you can order other dishes and thali is worth 160 bucks, but it is awful.. The chicken I ordered on side was deep fried and if you are health conscious, then do avoid these dishes.. I would recommend not to fall for overhype of this place and visit only if u can have a thali first.

It is a canteen, not a restaurant. Taste is normal. It might impress non-Telugu people. Great option if you are looking for economical meals.

Fast Furious and Fiery. Awesome food at rock bottom prices. Hoards of customers, deftly managed by the experienced staff. Biryani over weekends and thalis on weekdays recommended. Reach by 1:30.

I visited there on Sunday. For the very first time I had authentic Hyderabadi chicken Biryani, it was mind blowing. I have tried hyderabadi biryani of other franchises too. But the taste and satisfaction I got here is incomparable. Every single rice was well covered with masala and flavours. I would highly recommend this place if you want to try authentic Hyderabadi chicken Biryani. And price was nominal too.

If you're in Delhi, you MUST visit this place! I was in Delhi on a trip and visited this place due to a suggestion from someone. That was the best decision I made. It made me feel like I was back at home. The food is very vegetarian friendly and this is the best place to get South Indian food!!

At Rs 180, expectation should be set before hand. Also, of you reach after 1300 hrs, wait outside, since it must have already be running full of capacity. If the story repeats every time, then, surely there is something special that people throng for a bit of taste to enjoy, even if no ambience, lots of noise, people eat by hand as per tradition, quantity is enough, so even you can skip your breakfast also!!!!!! Truely great taste with great people with great supplies!!! Must try once.

An all-time 5-star fooding experience. Sharp service in between chaotic crowd and food is just flavorful. (Tip: if you want to enjoy, go in smaller numbers. For larger groups sitting together, you might have to wait.) The variety and quality of food at such affordable prices are unmatchable. A paradise for veg foodies however they also have non-vegetarian food that I am going to taste the next time.

Located at a distance of 1 Km from Mandi House Metro and it is inside Andhra Bhavan. Andhra Bhavan Canteen has really delicious food. You can try unlimited lunch and dinner at just 160 rupees.Almost crowded every time as it is very popular option because of its cheap rates and great taste. It is open from 8-10 am, 12-3 pm and 7:30-10 pm.

Canteen of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Bhawan. Much like renowned fine dining restaurant and cafes, it too has a long waiting queue, especially on weekends. So apart from a good appetite, you also need to go with some amount of patience to fight the crowd and get a table. The canteen has a token system in place, wherein you first need to place your order, get your token, wait for your turn and then head inside to finally enjoy your meal The two-floored canteen is basic with no-frills, but you can sense the seriousness of the business of serving food to the enormous crowd of people the moment you step in. It also makes you wonder that there has to be something special here, or it is impossible to find such a mad rush in a place as simple as this canteen. Hats off to the management for doing such a great job and being perfectly in sync. The service is very prompt and your order hardly takes time to reach you once you get your table. There's no dilly-dally. You eat and move on to let others in. The menu is limited, and the most "in-demand" item from the list includes the South Indian Thali. They also have a few non-vegetarian side dishes throughout the week. If you are an early riser, you can also head there to try their breakfast meal, which comprises a piece each of idli, vada and dosa along with tea or coffee

If you are missing home cooked taste of south indian food then definitely this is the place that you must visit. The food is neither too spicy nor too oily yet flavours are amazing. You must try their THALI to enjoy the delicacy of wholesome and satisfying authentic Telugu Food. I hope this review was helpful.

The Manager is very polite and smiling as usual. Only thing I want to share is the quality of the food needs to be improved, particularly, vegetarian thali costs Rs.170/-. People visit here to enjoy the real Andhra delicacies and even Gongura was not made available. Hope you will take corrective action and improve the quality.

This is my most favorite place in Delhi for Hyderabadi Biryani. Have been going there since one and a half decades and the taste hasn't changed. The chicken is always tender...falling off the bone. Dil khush food. Also try the paan and chicken fry.

I visit this place quite often. Even though they don't have wide options for food, the food they serve is good. I love the breakfast here. It contains masala dosa, idli, vada and filter coffee for 120. I think that lunch is a little overpriced, both thali and biriyani.

Heavy Crowded places Not for Localities Food quality is not up to the mark. Cost is also on Higer's side as compared to taste (570/3 person). 200 for 3 small chicken pieces extra. Waiting time is around 20 to 30 min. on NONWEEKEND days. For NCR community - Avoid

Excellent and affordable place to eat in Central Delhi. At a cost of ₹ 160 they offer unlimited food for a person. And at the minor cost of ₹160 they offer various dishes. Must go place.

A starless canteen totally unbelievable for Delhiites. A delectable cuisine having South Indian essence stands at the next level. Taste every cuisine - Everyone should visit the place and taste all the servings here. Reasonably why it's mandatory to taste all the cuisines here because you will experience two things - a different taste and the aura of food preparation. Addiction - It's for sure that you will get addicted to the taste. Along with that, you would lovingly promote Andhra Bhavan Canteen amongst your friends and family 😉 Once you are done then the next party is at this starless canteen only. Since 2010🔥😍 Completely irresistible and loving 😘 it since 2010. To your curiosity must know that here you would find cordial staff members, fantastic service and reasonable price. Have patience - Finally, if you are famished and have reached the canteen between 1-2 PM then you are the culprit to your empty belly😲 yourself because here at least 15 min waiting time is fixed on all days! Make up your mind and better reach by 12-12:30 PM.

The best Place to have Andhra thali . The food is delicious. The place is always crowded. The best part what I enjoy the most is the ghee with boiled rice and gun powder. The different pickles served r very tasty too . The thali is mandatory to take sharing is not allowed . The biryani on Sunday’s is super yumm . U can order chicken dry separately which is good too.

Its a great experience having a meal here! The unlimited thali is yummy! In afternoon you get puri and in evening you get rice. Mutton fry, chicken fry and fish curry as side dishes are yummiest to eat along with thali! Biryani is also yummy and worth trying! But biryani is spicy

For the canteen/ kitchen 1. Very delicious and great cooked food. 2. Price is also very reasonable and less. 3. People serving are very sweet and humble, it also leads to over eating :) 4. Due to much love, sometimes rush can be seen but after a 10 min wait, a seat is guaranteed. 5. Parking is on the main street, please do check the sign boards and a proper place.

Great place with awesome taste and an unmatched experience. The normal lunch thali is priced at ₹180/- in which you get unlimited refills. Sometimes the food can be too spicy. So, if you don't like spicy food much this place can be a let down for you.

If you don't have much time and hungry you can come here...service is too fast with lots of varieties. And affordable price. If u want to spend some good and more time with someone special plz don't come here. Only justified to people who is hungry.

Been visiting Andhra Bhavan since college days for their Sunday special biryani and mutton sukka. Besides these, the unlimited thali is also too good! If you're planning to visit, reach by 12:30 for lunch to avoid long queues. Service is quick, taste is great and the place is definitely worth the buck!

  • 3/5 Ramesh M. 2 years ago on Google
Situated at place where anyone cannot reach easily. Nearby people may enjoy. Food was not so extraordinary according to rate of the dish. Popularity is there due to Andhra's style cooking and taste.

  • 3/5 Amit S. 1 year ago on Google
We have been visiting this place since 2004. Earlier there was a different attitude of the staff towards customer as they were eager to serve, but now since last 3-4 visits it seems changing and now looking just to complete the job. May be because of this the food quality, variety and portion has also taken a hit. Quality n quantity of Chicken fry, mutton fry and Sunday special Biryani has gone down. Management need tolook into this seriously, I know we are huge in population but with this it might not take long in sinking the popularity of this canteen and it's food.

  • 4/5 Prayukth K V. 1 year ago on Google
This is what real food tastes like. Just the right level of spice and an assortment of vegetables, poori and dessert to make your taste buds remember this place for a long long time. Come after 230 pm for a better experience as the crowd melts away by then allowing you to relish your meal in peace.

I loved the food and the ambience. It was good , the food was reasonable, the location is easy to find. I was here on independence day so it was mildly crowded but we found a place to sit. I ordered 3 thali and 1 biryani for 900rs bucks. Parking is not available so we had to park outside andra bhawan, everything else was good

Good Thali but I have had better experience in taste some 8-10 years back when I first visited the place Absolute steal in veg thali @170/- Everything Unlimited excepting The Papad, Curd and The sweet 🍰 Enjoyed the hot puris but like I said I had very good experience with the curries /sabji unlike today. Rasam and Sambar were the showstoppers. Chicken Biriyani @280/-. Good taste but only 2/3 pieces of standard size chicken piece. Paan @20/-. Decent price and good. Overall taste 3/5 Service 5/5 Price 3/5
