I recently visited Jhandewalan Hanuman Mandir, and it was a spiritually enriching experience. The templeโ€™s serene atmosphere and beautiful architecture create a sense of peace and tranquility. The devotion and faith of the visitors are palpable, and itโ€™s truly a place of spiritual significance. The idols and artwork are impressive, and the temple is well-maintained. Whether youโ€™re a local or a visitor, I highly recommend paying a visit to this sacred place. Itโ€™s a must-visit for those seeking spiritual solace. Five stars!

Karol Bagh Hanuman Mandir is one of the most iconic temples of Delhi. It was built in the year 2008 and located very close to Jhandewalan Metro Station. The temple is a wonderful piece of art and technology. The stunning statue of Lord Hanuman has torn open his chest to show how Lord Rama exists within him. The temple is 108 ft in height having a cave identical to that of Vaishno Devi. This cave also has a sacred lump in the form of Pindi and a sacred flow of water in the form of river Ganga. There is also a temple dedicated to Goddess Kali lying close to the feet of the idol at the base of the statue. The entrance of the temple has an open mouth monster, this depicts the glory of Lord Hanuman who killed many monsters in his life while serving Lord Rama. A beautiful shrine of Shani Dev temple is also next to this. Don't miss. The temple architecture and aesthetics make it a must visit pilgrim sites to be explored in Delhi !!!

Its strategic location on the metro route, its gigantic size rising 108 ft above the railway tracks and its popularity with the residents and tourists alike have made it an iconic symbol of Delhi. Nowadays, many posters depicting the city carry images of this huge statue as a symbol of the city. Visitors and travellers out of curiosity want to take a closer look at the statue and feel like knowing more about the reason for placing it so close to the metro tracks, as the idol seems to almost be brushing against the overhead track! The Jhandewalan Mata Mandir devotees also make it a stopover on their way to the shrine of the goddess. All this has made this Hanuman Mandir very popular!

Great hanuman statue ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿ‘Œ It is a very attractive temple and it is shown in various movies also. The tall statue of God Hanuman is seen from a long distance This temple is recognised by the tall statue of Hanuman which you can see if you cross this place in metro. As the temple is of Hanuman Ji, it is crowded on Tuesdays and other days it's ok.

It was an absolutely amazing experience to visit this great Sri Hanuman ji statue (temple). You might see it when traveling in Blue line (metro), but the real beauty lies in actually visiting the temple. Trust me, you can't help but be in awe of how humongous this statue is. Standing at its entrance, you can barely see the top of the statue. It's definitely a great sight. โค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ

I remember when this was just being constructed, even back then everytime I passed i would imagine how this would turn up. Now several years after, it's almost like a landmark especially when there's a metro running just besides it. It's a pretty iconic thing that screams Delhi.... I also automatically start reciting the Chalisa when I pass here..... Maybe coz when I was a kid I thought I shared a special bond with Lord Hanuman.

The iconic landmark of Karol Baug, The 108 Feet Hanuman Mandir also known as Sankat Mochan Dham is located very close to the Jhandewalan metro station along the delhi metro blue line. The construction of the temple started in 1994 and it took around 13 years to finish the project. The temple is a great piece of art, engineering and technology. The temple is 108 ft in height and also having a cave identical to that of Vaishno Devi Shrine in Jammu & Kashmir. Parking is bit tricky here. But this place is worth visiting

Jhandewalan Hanuman Mandir - is one of the most popular Hindu temples in Delhi. The shrine is marked by the colossal 108 ft statue of Lord Hanuman and can be seen from the both Jhandewalan and Karol Bagh metro station. Tuesdays are quite crowded here, despite the fact that the temple stays open every day. Other than the massive effigy of Lord Hanuman, which fairly does its job of attracting devotees and tourists, the entrance of the temple is also an attraction. The entrance door has been carved in a shape of the mouth of the deity and one can reach the main hall of the shrine through a passageway

During my recent trip to Delhi, I had the privilege of visiting the iconic Karol Bagh Hanuman Mandir, situated conveniently close to Jhandewalan Metro Station. Built in 2008, this temple stands as a testament to both art and technology. It's simply mesmerizing to witness the grand statue of Lord Hanuman, beautifully depicted with his chest torn open, revealing Lord Rama within him. The sheer height of the temple, at 108 ft, is impressive, but it's the cave, reminiscent of Vaishno Devi, that adds to its allure. Inside this cave, the sacred lump or 'Pindi' and the holy flow representing river Ganga added a serene touch to my spiritual journey. Additionally, nestled close to the feet of the primary idol, there's a temple dedicated to Goddess Kali which enhances the overall spiritual experience. The proximity to Jhandewalan Metro makes it easily accessible for everyone. If you're in Delhi, this temple isn't just a destination; it's a spiritual journey you shouldn't miss

The 108ft Hanuman Temple in Delhi is one of the most iconic and popular temples in the city. It is situated between Karol Bagh and Jhandewalan metro stations, making it easily accessible to both locals and tourists alike. The temple is dedicated to Lord Hanuman, the monkey god and one of the most beloved deities in Hinduism. The temple is a three-story structure, with each floor dedicated to a different deity. The ground floor houses the main shrine of Lord Hanuman, as well as shrines to other deities such as Ram Darbar and other deities. The second floor is dedicated to Mata Rani, the mother goddess. The third floor houses a shrine to Panchmukhi Hanuman, a five-faced form of Lord Hanuman. The temple is a popular pilgrimage site for Hindus from all over India. Akhand Ramayan Path is done here. It is also a popular tourist attraction, with many visitors coming to see the iconic 108ft statue of Lord Hanuman. The statue is made of red sandstone and is visible from a distance. It is a truly impressive sight. The temple complex is also home to a number of other smaller temples and shrines. There is also a large courtyard where devotees can gather to pray and sing bhajans. The temple also has a number of shops selling religious artifacts and souvenirs. Overall, the 108ft Hanuman Temple is a must-visit for anyone visiting Delhi. It is a beautiful and spiritual place, and it offers a glimpse into the rich Hindu culture and heritage of India.

It is great devotional experience there. I am proud that it is in my area and shooted in many of bollywood movies. When go there and see your self you'll have goose bumps that you are seeing real Lord Hannuman. It might be the normal approx size of Lord Hannuman. You can have darshan "Maa Vaishno Devi Gupha" besides. I strongly recommend 108 foot Hannuman ji temple

An old statue of Hanuman ji the highest i have seen. This temple is one of the famous temple and an old one. This statue has mechanical hands which move in and out and while they are moving out it gives you a darshan of Ram Darbar. (Depicting the scene when hanuman ji showed the picture of Ram Darbar in his heart). The temple also has Shani mandir alongwith navgrah mandir. Also you can get darshan of other gods and goddesses. This temple is situated next to jhandewalan metro station. On the back side of this temple is bhuli bhatiyari ka mahal (an ancient fort maybe from Mughal empire) which is said to be haunted and going here at night is prohibited.
