There's a huge difference between the world inside the mission and outside it. Outside the mission boundary it is all chaotic, full of rush and running around however once you get inside the boundary into the RamKriahna Mission it is a complete different world altogether such an amazing atmosphere, so much peace and tranquility. Your heart will feel a serene bliss and your soul will be liberated. Visit the place sometime you will get to know what I am talking about. Peace✌!

The first impression of RKM, Delhi in my case goes back to 1961. On a biting cold foggy day, my mother and my three brothers were relieved to get inside for some warmth. That day cemented my connection with RKMs all over India. Wikipedia tells me that Delhi mission has its origins in the Ramakrishna Math which had opened in a nearby rented house earlier in 1927 and the construction work on the present premises started in 1934 after the first foundation brick was brought in from Beluur Math to Delhi, and consecrated by Swami Shiva nandan a direct disciple of Sri Ramakrishna and the second President of the Ramakrishna Math and the Ramakrishna Mission. Thereafter the Delhi Centre was formally opened in 1935. Swami Ranganathananda who later became the 13th president of the Ramakrishna Math and Mission and a recipient of Padma Vibhushan served as the secretary at the Delhi Mission from 1949 to 1962. While these informations are important but for me personally I will always remember the Mission where I found happiness and solace in troubled times.

If u wanna seriously Study for UPSC, I will highly recommend you to at least visit this place once. There will be a cost for travelling compared to ORN. But the vibe or reading is awesome. Because People there are strict , and it's good for us. And the fee is very nominal. There are many helpful books available for students, you can issue them.

on 1st of April 2022 they selected 25 candidates 10 boys and 15 girls and the last date for submit there documents is 05th of December 2022, seriously? if you guys give them whole pending year to submit there documents where the other students will go?, they are also in the waiting list including me and you gave the whole pending year to selected students for submitting their documents? this is unfair for the candidates who are waiting for their numbers to get the membership of library.

great place for researchers and book lovers. the library is very well maintained and offers a very large number of books and periodicals which can be very useful for those doing research or interested in spirituality. the landscaping in the ashram is very soothing for the nerves. those visiting the library cannot miss the bookshop to buy publications and souvenirs available there. besides it is a must to visit the temple and the museum which has some rare collection of pictures of swami vivekananda !
