We had the absolute pleasure of staying at the maidens hotel from June 30 to July 11, we honestly could not have had a better experience. The staff are so helpful and kind they really make the experience. The restaurant food and service is excellent with a range of local and western foods, this also extends to room service where nothing was to much trouble. We were always greeted by all the staff and felt welcomed the entire time. The building itself is beautiful and the grounds are stunning. My only critique would be the bathrooms could use an update, but they are clean and functional. I can recommend this hotel without hesitation and will definitely stay there again if I holiday in Delhi again.

It was one of the BEST hotels I have ever experienced: a great building with over 100 years of history, classic, clean, great rooms and excellent service. As for the rooms, we were actually upgraded, so the impression of the rooms is more than the normal ones. But I think everyone can feel that the service is excellent. In some hotels there is often a strong pressure to tip for great service (I am Japanese and tipping is not customary in Japan), but I didn't feel that at all at this hotel, and I felt sincere service from the smiles of the staff. To be honest, I don't even want to tell people about it because I don't want it to become too popular, but I'm writing my impressions here to express my gratitude.

I loved it!♥ At first when you enter the hotel you feel that there is some maintenance work to be done, but the more time you spend in it the more at home you feel. The best part of it is without any kind of doubt the service. I have been in quite a lot of hotels and I have never experienced a better service. From the gardener to the manager everyone is there to make you feel at home. Anything you ask for is fulfilled in a matter of minutes and to perfection. Real professionals at work!👍👨‍🍳👨‍🌾👩‍💼 Breakfast is very nice, you can choose from the buffet or order from the menu. We also had lunch in the terrace and dinner in the cafeteria. The food is delicious, freshly prepared. The location 🚩of the hotel is also great, 5 minutes walk from Civil Lines metro station🚇🟨 (yellow line). From there you can go directly to New Delhi station and take the airport express. The same line is connected to many others so you can move around the city pretty easily. Another highlight is the pool! 🏊‍♂️ Perfectly clean and an ideal instagram spot 📷. Thank you Maidens Hotel for making us feel at home during our visit to Delhi!🙏

This a badly managed hotel , road is badly damaged ,due to this damaged road one lady of 72 year old was fell down and had a multiple wounds and one ankle and knee have muscle pull. On 8th of October 2021.I asked for the concern person no response . Many employees were looking like stupid no courtesy . So far as service is concern not at a good service G gaurd s are standing like a dimer . Only showing the way without any help . No help for parking . Overall I can say worst service . No covid 19 precautions Iamost of the employees are not capable of managing the hotel . many more improvement are required . If owners can not improve the service in every sector you should close this Hotel.

Right from entering the impressive gated entrance, you feel like you're stepping back in time. From the opulent wooden panelling and staircase, imposing hotel frontage and impeccable staff, this is the place to stay in Delhi if you want to feel what it was like to be here 100 years ago. Saying that, it has all the modern amenities, large and well furnished rooms and an excellent restaurant and bar. The outside pool is heated to a comfortable temperature and all the staff are friendly and attentive. First class alround.

This for me, was far more than a regular hotel, and it exceeded my highest possible expectations. It is by far the most amazing place to stay in if you are in Delhi and looking for a five star, not extremely expensive hotel. Everything was perfect! First off, we came early from a night flight and they immediately arranged a room for us for an early check in. Not only that, they upgraded our rooms from regular to a suit for no charge at all. Breakfast is fabulous and they will offer you coffee and drinks for free whenever you ask them for. Their food in general is very very good, although not the cheapest but well worth the money. Rooms are perfect! clean, spacy- everything works to the spot. I already mentioned their perfect service but the highlight was getting a personal, long, handwritten , personal letter from the maintenance crew with a gift: they had noticed that my laptop computer had no case and was a little dusty and gave me a special cloth bag so I may store it in it, in addition to a lens and screen cleaner. This is a rare gesture, which I had never encountered before at any hotel, and that is finally why, I will always, if my budget allows me, stay at the Maidens hotel in Delhi.

Greetings and Regards I was staying at the Midens Hotel from March 18 to 25 This hotel is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The hotel atmosphere is very beautiful, calm and pleasant and is great for relaxation and concentration. Hygiene protocols are strictly observed by hotel officials and staff. Rooms are cleaned daily and bed linen is changed. The behavior of the hotel staff was excellent, kind and helpful. During my stay, I enjoy the beautiful sound of birds in the garden and pool. There is also a peaceful coexistence between man and nature. Thank you to all the kind officials and staff of the hotel who serve with love and professionalism. I really enjoyed it and I hope to stay at your hotel again soon. Everything was great and pleasant. Thank you

Didn't expect the rooms to be so large and comfy. Usually old buildings look amazing but do not offer modern comforts. This place has managed to marry the two. Their service is very good. Was lovely to be here during Christmas and be treated to their pampering with chocolates, cakes and cookies

Heritage hotel that has been built more than 💯 years ago. Fantastic architecture and amazing interior design with high sophisticated modern maintenance. Swimming pool and huge gardens with friendly peacocks and birds and squirrel 🐿️ and cute cats. The restaurant where you have all meals has two sections one inside and outside where you look at the beautiful giant tree. Shower 🚿 is modern and whole bathroom is very bright with sun light. This is the most significant feature of this Heritage hotel. The sun is visiting every corner in the room and coriander and reception and restaurant. Stuff are very helpful and friendly. Hotel is clean and tidy. Carpets all over the hotel and masterpiece. The hotel's floors are wonderful wooden which gives the hotel feeling of home and nature. One of the best hotel in Delhi ever visited. It's located in North Delhi. Highly recommended for great experience ☺️

Feeling disappointed - The reason behind this statement is, we ordered Paneer @ 400 and after that we ordered Adraki Gobi at the cost of Rs.800 when we asked waiter for this price fluctuation, he said, its Chef DECISION. Surprised to see the prices...set by Chef

I recently had the pleasure of staying as Maidens Hotel and I must say it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was greeted by a warm and friendly staff that made me feel welcome and valued. The hotel's attention to detail in both service and amenities truly stood out. The rooms were impeccably clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. The decor was modern and tasteful, creating a relaxing ambiance that added to the overall enjoyment of my stay. The culinary offerings at Maidens Hotel were a highlight of my visit. The on-site restaurant showcased a diverse menu with a range of delicious options. Each dish was expertly prepared and presented, demonstrating a commitment to quality and culinary excellence. The breakfast buffet, in particular, was a delightful way to start each day, with a variety of fresh and appetizing choices. What truly set this hotel apart, however, was the exceptional customer service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of my stay was enjoyable. They were knowledgeable about the local area, providing excellent recommendations for restaurants and attractions. Additionally, any request or inquiry I had was handled promptly and with a genuine desire to exceed my expectations. The location of Maidens Hotel was also ideal, situated .This made it easy for me to explore the city and return to a comfortable retreat at the end of the day. In summary, my experience at Maidens Hotel was nothing short of fantastic. The combination of top-notch service, well-appointed rooms, and excellent dining options make it a standout choice for anyone looking for a memorable and enjoyable stay. I highly recommend Maidens Hotel to fellow travelers and look forward to the opportunity to stay there again in the future.

Everything is great. Much better in real life than in the pictures. Clean rooms with great bathrooms. The breakfast is good. Beautiful hotel grounds with peacocks and chipmunks). Clean well maintained pool. Metro is nearby. It is a very old building but they look after it very well and try to keep the classic style. So if you like the style of the early twentieth century - you will not be disappointed)

A stay at Maidens Hotel is unmatched. Right from the gardens, main entrance, deluxe suites, luxury suites, the garden terrace, and the swimming pool every corner of the hotel is historically and culturally enriching! Their staff and hospitality is so good that they literally make you feel home away from home! It’s always a pleasure staying here! I’ve stayed at the hotel on 2 occasions and definitely look forward to spending more time there whenever i visit delhi! During the pandemic their sanitisation was on point and all their staff was masked and wore a mask at all times. Their staff took care of us very well, right from giving us food with no chilly to accommodating all our needs! Thank you oberoi maidens for such a lovely stay!

Stunning hotel which take you back in time. It was a short stay but everything was perfect. Thank you for the room upgrade. It was a pleasant surprise and much appreciated. I’ve forgotten the name of the gentleman who checked us in but i would like to acknowledge his excellence to service. A shout out to the bar man who served up some excellent cocktails. An excellent hotel steeped in history and centrally located.

I totally understand why people love this hotel. It is different compared to newer hotel and maintains the magic of classic British hotels. Staff was superb and had great attention to detail. Food was good on dinner (needed to leave early, so skipped breakfast). The pool looked decent, didn't try it. The worst part was the WIFI, non existent and prevented me from work or leisure time. It really had a negative impact on my stay.

The "Most helpful" reviews are so misleading! Pathetic service at this hotel! Seems like the staff is all young and right out of school. One of the rooms we booked had a terrible stench and we asked for a change and they insisted that they were fully booked! I had called reservations just the previous day and they had told me there were plenty of rooms available! They asked us about any dietary restrictions and I had specifically requested for a gluten free breakfast box to go because I was leaving early. They did not prepare it! Why ask then?? They offered me a big box with one apple and a bottle of water. There was vada, idli, dosa and besan chilli at the buffet, all of these items are gluten free. One doesn't expect staff at an Oberoi property to be so misinformed! I don't know why this property charges a premium when they absolutely have no service to match.

A first class stay in Delhi, we couldn't have asked for more. Despite there being 2 big events on during our stay, the staff made sure we felt like their #1 priority. Beautiful venue with great rooms, the breakfast was also the best we have had during our 2 week holiday in India. This is of course a more expensive hotel than is available in Delhi, but you can't put a price on this level of quality. We can't wait for our next stay, thank you so much!

Such great value for money and attentive service. Maybe the best bed I have ever slept in Delhi, the rooms are really spacious and minimal. Housekeeping left bath salts as a gift, they did also turnover service which is so nice when you are checking in late and are exhausted. Breakfast has all the continental essentials and à la carte menu too. In general, just a lovely service and a great experience as a stay.

Garbage in Name of Oberoi and Heritage property Writing after 8 days of stay experience Not 1 day I got good breakfast. When asked for egg white omelette i get normal omelette. When asked for pan cake I dont even get one after waiting for 15-20mins and this happens again even after complaining about the breakfast 2 days prior. One day I walk in the restaurant I am told that I have only single person breakfast wherein my room is on double occupancy and this happens after staying for couple of days. They make me shift tables after seating because particular table is booked whereas there was no one seating when I reached. Here's a suggestion book a OYO but Maidens Hotel. Avoid!

A 5 star property, The Oberoi Maidens by the Oberoi Group dates back to the 1903. Rich in British Colonial architecture, it’s known for its spacious grounds and walkthrough. It is located in Civil Lines area of North Delhi. It has a popular restaurant called The Garden Terrace. The property will be suitable for travellers who want a complete luxurious experience of the Capital, right from their room to the sweeping greens. Interesting fact: The Chief Architect of Delhi, Edwin Lutyens was hosted at this hotel as he travelled to the city to design the new imperial Capital. Above that, the British royalty stayed here till the 1930’s. Plan your visit here soon! 💛

If hotel owners do not improve the conditions and recruite the competant staff hotel can not service a long . I will not recommend any one to go in this hotel.

My husband and I stayed here on the last leg of our trip to India. The hospitality from the second we arrived to the moment we departed was nothing short of excellent. Upon arriving, we were informed by the hostess that our room had been upgraded to a suite. We ate at the hotel twice (once was room service) and both times were delicious. The actual room was very nice, comfortable bed, and very nice, upgraded bathroom with shower and tub. The only complaint is that the room you walked into had a smoke odor, but this was not in the bedroom area. If we ever came back to India, we would definitely stay here again!

I absolutely loved the property! It is truly a hidden gem in North Delhi. We went there for a staycation on my birthday. At the reception, they gave my son a toy that kept him entertained through out our stay. Although the coffee shop area is a bit small, their food and service is great! The pool area and lawns were really nice and well kept. The rooms are spacious and exude an old world charm. The ideal time to enjoy their open areas is from end of monsoon season to end of winters.

The outdoor seating is so peaceful and quiet and with the right company you can enjoy some down time, with some great food. We ordered the Green Thai Curry with Chicken and the Grilled Fish with Lemon Butter sauce. I have to say the grilled fish was extremely well done and with the sauce just made it even better. Definitely recommend this place for couples. Also, towards the end of our meal, we saw a peacock pass by which was really cool.

I went for dinner yesterday at the Garden Terrace and the experience was really good. It's a small cozy restaurant inside the maidens hotel. They do have inside seating as well as a beautiful alfresco that is in the garden. But to enjoy the alfresco you have to go at night during this time coz can not sit out in the scorching heat. Although they do have mist fans and big coolers to take care of the heat (which makes a lot of noise if u sit next to them) I think what they need to take care of is the lights for the alfresco. I enjoyed my meal sitting outside but would've loved it more if they had proper lighting or they should have a candle light setup or anything and the place will lit and I can guarantee that. Food:- I was there with a friend and we ordered a cold coffee, a virgin mojito, Margherita Pizza and malai chicken tikka and everything was perfect just the way I like so kudos to chef and the restaurant. Staff: Suraj was my server last night and he was a really great guy who took care of my order efficiently. I didn't have to wait long for anything inspite of the fact that the restaurant was busy, they were able to deliver food on all the tables smoothly. I would highly recommend this place to everyone.

A beautiful hotel, with well trained and helpful staff members. Food quality is excellent with great taste and good portion size. We highly recommend this for your next stay in Delhi. Pool area is beautifully laid out with peacocks roaming around the premises. The staff alone deserves a 5 star rating.

Raj era heritage Hotel was built in 1903. Go there for a quiet coffee in the daytime in winter or evening in summer. Food is also great and reasonably priced than the other 5 star hotels. Staying there is also very economical. And if you are lucky enough, you just might get to see or meet an actor or actress, as many movies and serials are shot there.

It's a Beautiful place and considered as a heritage property. It is located with in the city at Civil Lines. The Rooms are quite big and spacious. Loved the way they have maintained the building specially the entrance of the hotel is not very flashy and is soothing to the eyes.

My favourite place in Civil Lines. Peaceful, beautiful and silent. Has beautiful gardens and two restaurants where you can order anything you like. Food in the cafe is okay, not the best. Place however is quite a feel good,
