👍 The architecture is really amazing. The information centre was really helpful to understand the making and purpose of Lotus Temple. Beautiful temple dome. Feels like peeling off one of the petals of the structure and waiting for it to open. Nicely sculpted all the plants and well maintained garden.... People often mention temple, Lotus, Temple, lotus, Worship, faith, House, information, Information, religion,

The House of Worship Information center. The Bahá'í House of Worship was opened to the public in December 1986. Since then thousands visit the House of Worship every day. While the visitors enjoy the peace and the serene environment that lends itself well to meditation, many inquire as to the source that has inspired such a place of worship, where there are no images, where no sermons are given, no rituals performed, and scriptures of all major religions read or recited. Over the years, the need for a place where such inquiries could be addressed became more pronounced and the idea of the Information Centre was conceived.

I will try to stay sanguine about there was a lot of information in a form of pictures, books, pamphlet, etc but it would have been better if there would have been a guide who would describe everything in well detail manner. And It feels poor there were staff but they were so lost in the gossip thingy. Regretful for young.

The Lotus Temple is one of the most fabulous structures you have ever seen. It has an exquisite design that looks like a lotus flower. It is situated in Delhi, India and it is a Baha’i House of Worship. An architect called Furiburz Sabha did the development of the Lotus temple. It features an expressionists architectural design. The architect went for the lotus flower look because of how Indians hold dear the lotus flower because of its religious significance. This temple has a total of 27 marble-clad petals that are free-standing, and the building is made of white marble. It has nine sides. From the central point, the temple has a height of over 40 meters. This gorgeous Lotus temple can hold a total of 2500 people. There is no specific God that is worshipped in this temple. According to the Baha’i Faith, this house of worship is an open space for every kind of person regardless of religion. There are no restrictions as to who can enter the temple and who cannot enter the temple. A lot of tourists visit this temple when they go to Delhi. The best times to visit are between 9.00 am and 5.30 p.m. You can also visit Lotus Temple on any day apart from Monday. While you are here, you will enjoy the serenity, the enchanting water pools, and the lovely gardens. There are no entrance charges. If you can, ensure that you visit this place. You will never want to leave.

The Lotus Temple, located in Delhi, India, is a Bahá'í House of Worship that was dedicated in December 1986. Notable for its flowerlike shape, it has become a prominent attraction in the city. Like all Bahá'í Houses of Worship, the Lotus Temple is open to all, regardless of religion or any other qualification.

The Lotus Temple, also known as the Baha'i' Mandir, is dedicated for the followers of the Baha'i religion, but anyone can set a foot here regardless of one's religious faiths. The beautiful and silent atmosphere inside the temple perfectly complements the brilliant architecture that resembles a lotus. It is a wonderful tourist attraction in the eastern part of the city. One needs to walk a bit in order to enter the temple. Shoes and sound are not allowed inside the temple.

Photography is not permitted. Was not crowded. The information center has pictures and info gram related to lotus temple and Bahai religion. The volunteer at the center were mostly non hindi speakers and this was a little inconvenient
