😊It's a good destination for Animal lovers. You can see here so many animals, And so many bird. 😕But pity for Snake lovers, You will find only 2-3 species of snakes maximum. Most of them are empty box or only filled with Indian Rock pythons. 🎟️ Tickets are Required there. You will have to buy tickets online through their website. All Instructions are written there, and easy to buy tickets. 📸 Photography is allowed, you can take your camera and mobile too inside the park. 🍔No food is available inside the Zoo. It is suggested to eat outside before entering in the Zoo. Because it's not a small area to visit. You will be tired. 🚌 Battery vehicle is available there, if you don't want to walk. You will have to pay for the vehicle, and it will not be your personal vehicle. You will have to to visit with others.

Went on a weekday in winters .. in Dec.. the ticket can be purchased online from official website to avoid getting in queues at spot.. enough parking available inside at 50rs for a day.. sufficient washrooms are available within the zoo at various spots.. can see tigers, lion, leopard, jaguar, elephants, tortoise, ostrich, swans, birds, peacocks.. pictures attached.. can spend 2-3 hours here.. no eatables allowed inside.. either eat before entering or after exit.. if going in car, leave eatables in car.. good place for kids or for self if interested in animals.. fairly maintained..

Visited the zoo with my 5-yr old after almost 3 decades and so sad to see that the only noticeable difference was the introduction of the B.O.T! The zoo is need of a major uplift. No places to eat inside, no imagination in the place at all to make it attractive like gift shops or maybe some interactive games for kids. It was plain boring one animal pen to the next. The animals looked to be in a sad state. The white tigers looked almost malnourished. The elephants were tied with a chain around their legs! The lion looked bored and alone! So much has changed all over Delhi in these years but sad to see that Zoo wasn’t one of them

Its a great place to have fun with your kids. They will be more than happy to visit this place. You have to book tickets online hence book your ticket in advance before reaching there so that you don't have to wait much. Food is not allowed inside . You can bring water bottle. I visited Zoo on Sunday in early morning but all the food outlets inside and cafeteria outside was closed. Make sure to visit there in early morning to avoid crowd as it is very crowded place in evening time. For senior citizens or those who don't want to walk much can avail electric cart which costs 80 rs. Per person or you can book whole cart in 800 rs if you are coming with family. Entry ticket for Zoo is 80 rs. per person. Children ( 5-12 years ) 40 rs.

The New Year is the day when a new calendar year begins. The New Year is celebrated on January 1st (New Year’s Day). According to the Gregorian calendar, January 1 is considered as the first day of the year. Ahead of the new year, people start planning for their celebrations and resolutions. Like many other festivals, New Year also brings joy and happiness, irrespective of the culture and caste. In Western countries, New Year’s Day is surrounded by many traditions and customs. The night before, known as New Year’s Eve, people throw parties and feasts. They stay up late, counting down the minutes until midnight. Fireworks displays are frequently organized, and people flock to the streets at midnight to watch them. At midnight, it is customary to shake hands with others and wish them a “Happy New Year.” Many people make New Year’s resolutions or self-promises. Watch-night services (also known as Watch-night Mass) are held late on New Year’s Eve in many Christian traditions. This gives them the opportunity to reflect on the previous year and make confession, as well as to prepare for the coming year by praying and making New Year’s resolutions.

This is not a way to treat anyone.

It's a good place but you get tired if you don't take those battery cars. You'll have to walk around 10km-14km to see the whole park. I would suggest you to visit here in winter or spring because the animals do not come out during Summers and you'll not able to see them.

As you’d expect from the great Government department - Poor maintenance, dying animals, empty cages, you can’t even buy water inside the zoo - all in-house shops are closed. And, the inbuilt tap/water stations are so dirty you’d prefer to die thirsty. It’s literally useless to go and it’s an utter shame that the Indian capital zoo is in shambles. The EV vehicles inside the compound are always full, few EV’s are roaming inside with “Reserved” badges which are apparently serving the families of staff members. Stay away from this place if you can, complete waste of time.

A zoo is a facility where animals are kept and displayed for the public. Zoos can be found all over the world and come in all sizes. Some zoos are small and only have a few animals, while others are large and have hundreds of animals. Zoos serve a number of purposes. One purpose is to educate the public about animals. Zoos provide visitors with the opportunity to see animals from all over the world and to learn about their habitats and behaviors. Zoos also play a role in conservation. Many zoos are involved in breeding programs for endangered animals. They also work to protect the natural habitats of animals. [Image of Zoo animals] In addition to education and conservation, zoos also provide entertainment for visitors. People of all ages enjoy visiting zoos to see animals up close. Zoos often have other attractions as well, such as playgrounds, gardens, and restaurants. Here are some of the benefits of visiting a zoo: * Learn about animals from all over the world. * See animals up close and personal. * Support conservation efforts. * Have fun and enjoy the outdoors. Zoos can be a great place to learn about animals and to support conservation efforts. However, it is important to choose a zoo that is accredited by a reputable organization, such as the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA). Accredited zoos meet high standards of animal care and welfare. When visiting a zoo, it is important to be respectful of the animals. Do not feed the animals, tap on the glass, or make loud noises. Be sure to follow the zoo's rules and regulations. Zoos can be a fun and educational experience for people of all ages. If you are planning a visit to a zoo, be sure to do your research and choose an accredited zoo.

National Zoological Park is home to a large number of species of birds, reptiles and mammals which live in an environment that in many ways resemble their natural habitat. The zoo not only provides a home for endangered species, but also helps them to breed well in captivity. Some of the special attractions at the Zoo include White Tiger, Gaur, Jaguar, Rhinoceros, Elephants, Brow-antlered Deer (Sangai), Lion-tailed Macaque, Migratory birds (during winters) etc.

These battery vehicle just drop you at their stops which are at very short distance. Any ways you have to walk too much even after this. Rest is ok. Avoid going in weekends due to huge rush.
