After visiting MedLinks on 1-Jun and getting a hair transplant done through them, I can safely say that this is the BEST place in India to get your hair transplant treatment. Brief about me: 37 years old, from Hyderabad, MNC/corporate sector job and in the IT field for the last 16 years; have observed significant male pattern baldness for the last 5-7 years, crown > front. After extensive research and testimonials from different people, I consulted Dr. Gaurang’s team online and landed in Delhi a week after my consultation to get through with the hair transplant procedure. The facility is beautiful and the staff is extremely warm and cordial. They immediately get down to business by welcoming you and getting you ready for the procedure. In my case, the procedure lasted for 1.5 days (7.5 hours on day 1, and 4.5 hours on day 2). All the Doctors and staff members are extremely talented and this showed in the way they operate - diligently accurate, precise, and with speed! The OT staff plays music of your choice throughout, keeps asking you if you’re feeling comfortable, have a quilt in case you feel cold, keeps asking you if you need break(s) in between, keeps offering you tea/coffee/drinks/snacks in between. What surprised me was that throughout the duration in the OT, the staff themselves did not take any breaks; they were simply invested and kept on working diligently. In my case, donor hair were used from both – the head and the beard. Dr. Gaurang took the measurements, made the slits, and is simply an incredible person to talk to. The other Doctors like Dr. Rajiv and Dr. Vandana, and Gautam are simply superb too. Their command over the subject and the dedication towards the job at hand is marvelous. The support staff such as Mohini and Mursal are incredible at what they do. What I observed in those 2 days is the definition of true “Team Work”. They provide detailed instructions – what to do and what not to do both pre and post OP, provide the medications, and diligently follow up through WhatsApp. Now, I know that many people say that this is an expensive treatment. Well, yes it is. In fact, it cannot be a cheap treatment primarily because of the expertise it demands and the time/effort involved by multiple Doctors/Support staff in making this highly effective, seamless, and as less pain free as possible.
