Indiaโ€™s First Indo-Korean Friendship Park was jointly inaugurated by Mr Suh Wook, Hon'ble Minister of National Defence, Republic of Korea and Shri Rajnath Singh, Honโ€™ble Raksha Mantri, at Delhi Cantonment on 26 Mar 2021. Located in Delhi Cantonment, the park's significance is not only because of it being a symbol of strong India-South Korea friendly relations, but also as a monument to Indiaโ€™s contributions as part of 21 countries which participated in Korean war 1950-53, under the aegis of the United Nations. The park has been developed in joint consultation with Ministry of Defence, Government of India, Indian Army, Delhi Cantonment Board, Emabssy of Korea and Korean War Veterans Association of India.

Park is closed due to lock down, hope it opens soon. The park has two gates as can be seen in the picture. The park is next to Thimayya park. And the road is called Thimayya Marg.

I had a wonderful time at the Indo-Korean Friendship Park, and I learned a lot about the fascinating story of Queen Heo and General Thimayya. The park is one of the best places to visit in Delhi for anyone who loves history, culture, or nature. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to experience the bond between India and Korea. was impressed by its beauty and significance. The park is a symbol of the strong friendship and historical ties between India and Korea. It is also a tribute to the Indian peacekeepers who participated in the Korean War from 1950 to 1953, under the aegis of the United Nations. The park is located in Delhi Cantonment, near the Indira Gandhi International Airport. It has a majestic ethnic Korean-styled gate that welcomes the visitors. The park is spread over eight acres of land, and has a well-landscaped garden, a jogging track, an amphitheatre, and a pond. The park also has a stone memorial with an inscription of the legend of Queen Heo Hwang-ok, who was a legendary Korean queen of Indian origin. She was the wife of King Suro, the founder of Geumgwan Gaya, one of the ancient kingdoms of Korea.

The Indo-Korean Park is located in Rohini, Delhi and is a joint project between the governments of India and South Korea. The park covers an area of approximately 10 acres and includes various attractions such as a meditation garden, Korean pavilion, amphitheater, and a children's play area. The park is also home to a traditional Korean restaurant. Overall, the park has received positive reviews from visitors who have enjoyed its serene and well-maintained environment, as well as its unique Korean features. Many have also appreciated the cultural exchange and the opportunity to learn about Korean traditions and cuisine.

One of the best parks I've ever visited in Delhi. It surely deserves 5 stars. The environment, the area... it's all good. We went there to celebrate Christmas with slum kids. And that was fun. Greenery is there. One should visit this park.

We get to see some swings in the park with a good care, open gym, greenery all around, and a serene atmosphere! On the other hand, the park also depicts an event in history in which we see the friendship between India and Korea! The park was inaugurated by the Defense Ministers of both the countries. There is free entry in the park and free parking, due to not many people, there is good peace in the park for daily exercise.

The park has been developed in joint consultation with Ministry of Defence, Government of India, Indian Army, Delhi Cantonment Board, Emabssy of Korea and Korean War Veterans Association of India. Spread across a green area of six acres, the park includes an entrance gate beautifully made in Korean style signifying the graceful culture, a jogging track, well landscaped garden and an amphitheatre. The park has an imposing handshake artifact standing tall at the entrance bearing flags of India and South Korea

The gate has the traditional korean structure touch which is the only unique aspect of the park, the rest is just like usual park. I recommend Korean culture enthusiasts to visit this park.
