This is a wonderful place to find out about our traditional workmanship and handicrafts from all parts of India 🇮🇳. Almost all states and all the various forms of things are on display and sale here. From the very basic things to expensive articles, everything can be experienced in this big place. Location is central and just adjacent to the Janpath metro station.

It's strategically located, ideal place to buy good quality premiums handicrafts. Prices are definitely not competitive and bit more then usual. Variety and choices are restricted. Discounts are very less. Nicely arranged. Some of the staff were Pro, while few were very unsuitable for the job. Need to be more professional. Proper packaging for my purchase was NOT available so I had to leave without it. Courier services to destination are also not available. Kids and senior citizens friendly. I will definitely give a thumbs up for this outlet however it needs aggressive marketing and staff.

If you love art, look no further. One stop shop for all art and craft products. Everything available under one roof. The best part is that its government run, no private shops. You are assured genuine products, no margin for any bargaining.

Here you can buy beautifully hand made wodden, stone and metal statues, silk clothes, beautiful hand made jewellery, painting and scenery, crockery items etc. Some aromatic perfumes, many type of honey, tea etc. Quality is top hence prices are higher side. Nice peaceful atmosphere inside.

The very best of Indian arts and crafts. Good part is: they source directly from the artisans and whenever you buy anything, bulk of the money is transferred back to the artisans. Also the quality of products is of high quality. At first it may seem slightly expensive, but it is absolutely worth it. It's an experience of Delhi you should miss.

It has the very best.Be it furniture,be it fabrics and various.even Indian Teas.Quiet place, huge, nearly three floors, paintings, well priced. Bottom line..the place is a representation of Indian Traditional produce. Must visit if you find yourself at Janpath. The restaurant on the premises is presently not functional.

Lot of articles regarding different styles from across India and little pricey as well. Truly one place to have a near complete glimpse of India. Google map location is slightly off the mark but signage on the road are good enough to search for the place

The Emporium is located at just opposite of Janpath Metro station. Authentic and traditional Indian handicrafts materials including statue, cloths, wooden stuffs etc. are available here. Staffs are very much cooperative and supportive. 💯 Recommended.

Central Cottage Industries Emporium (CCIE) is a government-run emporium that sells a wide variety of handicrafts and handlooms from all over India. It is located on Janpath, a popular shopping street in New Delhi. Nearest Metro station just adjacent to this is JANPATH Metro. CCIE is a great place to find unique and authentic Indian handicrafts. The emporium has a wide variety of items to choose from, including textiles, jewelry, sculptures, paintings, and home decor. The prices at CCIE are reasonable, and the quality of the products is high. CCIE is a great place to shop for souvenirs or gifts. It is also a great place to learn about Indian handicrafts and to support the work of local artisans. The staff at CCIE is helpful and knowledgeable. They are happy to answer any questions you have about the products and to help you find the perfect item for your needs.

A good collection of works from around the country in various types of materials. A good study is required to explore the best finds. It operates strictly from 10 am to 7 pm so it is tight to shop for some items...

It's a government-run store designed to feature artisans from around India and provide a fair price. The goods are quality and prices are fixed (no haggling). It is more expensive than you'd pay elsewhere, but also far less of a hectic shopping experience.

It’s a good place to buy souvenirs (and it seemed to me furniture though my goal was buying gifts). There is definitely variety in this several floors shop. Of course if you have the option to buy the handcrafted products from their original locations, you can get better quality for a cheaper price, but being in delhi and needing a nice collection while enjoying the AC and avoiding the bargaining rituals , this shop is a nice choice. Also, as i was filling up my basket, I could give them the finalized items and get a receipt to hold onto, continue my shopping and pay for everything at the end and get my stuff. Definitely lightened my shopping burden today!

This store is amazing. Get authentic artisan-crafted goods at fair prices without needing to negotiate or question the origin of what you're buying. This place has a wide selection of expertly curated hand-crafted goods. Beautiful artwork and excellent gifts. I would rate it higher if I could.

Rare items can be found here .. staffs are knowledgeable and know their contents. I asked for souvenirs related to mumbai or maharashtra and they referred to Warli painting - framed items. It was a satisfying experience.

It's a very nice place for artefacts, crafts and traditional things. It has a wide collection of things prepared by local artisans and with cultural values. It has beautiful things in beautiful packing. The management is very well. One can buy wide range of objects in wide range of prices. A very nice place to visit also. One will be mesmerized by the beautiful things. It's almost impossible to come back without buying anything. It has things for children also. Toys, teas, clothes, furniture etc. like many things are there for you.

I bring all my friends here to buy souvenirs and gift for friends and family. Huge range and fixed prices make shopping easy. It may be a little more expensive than what you get out on the street but at least you know they quality is good. "Sandal wood" is actually sandal wood in this store and not "scamdal wood" like you often get outside.

Absolutely mind blowing experience. Never thought it would be so much of a pleasure to shop here. Staff were so customer centric and were pretty helpful. I think it all flows from the top. The GM Mr. D.K.Mishra was himself extremely polite and left no stone unturned to explain and show us some real good stuff although it was a closing time. He said getting these awesome stuff anywhere across the globe is not a problem as they had worked out the logistics to ensure material dispatched reaches the destination as per the defined timelines and in good shape and size. Would definitely recommend this place for authentic genuine and best in class awesome indian products 👌👍

Handcrafted products from all over India. One doesn't have to haggle, no one's going to rip you off and a certain level of quality is assured. A lot to take in and look at, so allow at least a couple if hours for some serious browsing. No elevators, so one needs to be able to handle ramps and stairs.

Nice and beautiful place. Many hand crafted things are available here like: clothes, antique items for decoration etc. Kashmir hand crafted clothes are also available. Many wooden decorative items are also available here.

My parents shopped here in their 30's and 40's. I find the variety of Indian handicrafts on sale fascinating. Bharat and its civilization's artisans talent on display in evey material eg. wood metal stone marble fabric . Open on weekends with parking

Brought back childhood memories of my mom and aunts buying art and handicrafts from every part of the country and dragging us along. Though some things are a tad overpriced, there are a lot of beautiful pieces you can pick, for a traditionally decorated home and even for a minimalist modern home. Beautiful shawls and scarves too. Definitely a must-do in Delhi ❤️

Very good place to buy authentic handicrafts and traditional stuff from all over India. Everything ranging from pottery, silver metal (especially the Meenakari filigree works) and brass statues and jwelery items, beautifully carved wood and bone statement pieces, perfumes and fragnant essential oils, to leather bags, plush carpets and textiles in all shapes and sizes including intricately embroidered silk saris, stoles, lehengas, silk and pashmina shawls and many more can be bought here. And all are genuine materials bought directly from the traditional workers of India! Staff is also very helpful and is always very eager to explain and showcase the rich quality and diversity of the arts, handlooms and handicrafts here. Definitely the one place to visit in Delhi!
