Indian Institute of Technology Delhi is one of the fifteen IITs created to be Centres of Excellence for training, research and development in science, engineering and technology In India. Established as College of Engineering In 1961, the Instiute was later declared as an Institution of National Importance under the "Institutes of Technology (Amendment) Act, 1963" and was renamed as "Indian Institute of Technology Delhi'. Since its inception, over 35000 have graduated from liT Delhi in various disciplines including Engineering, Physical Sciences, Management and Humanities & Social Sciences. Of these, nearly 3541 received Ph.D. degrees. The number of students who graduated with B.Tech. degree is over 11970. The rest obtained Master's Degree in Engineering, Sciences and Business Administration. These alumni today work as scientists, technologists, business managers and entrepreneurs. There are several alumni who have moved away from their original disciplines and have taken to administrative services, active politics or are with NGOs. In doing so, they have contributed significantly to building of this nation, and to industrialization around the world.

One of the finest institutes of technology in the country, IIT Delhi boasts of a beautiful campus surrounded with trees that relieve a person from the otherwise scorching heat of Delhi. It was a very great experience with attending a meeting in IIT DELHI. IITD is public research and engineering institute located in Hauz Khas in South Delhi, near by metro station is IITD and Houz kash in yellow line. It is a very good experience in the Indian institute of Technology New Delhi.

Beautiful campus, lush green 💚 nestled in the national capital of Delhi. This campus is known for its national importance and three campuses in Delhi NCR region. It's ranking is always best in the world. The discipline and academic performance both took its greater height. This campus is loved across India 🇮🇳 by many. I don't think there is anyone who doesn't know about this premier instituition. I have had the amazing opportunity to work here as a Research Associate and here. I would like to mention some useful things for anyone coming to IIT Delhi for the first time. 1. Best way to reach here is by metro and the station you need to get off is IIT at Magenta line. It's literally 50 steps to the main gate which eventually leads to the Main building. 2. Not everyone is allowed into the campus hence you need to have proof which the guard can approve of and let you enter. 3. Food is amazing and affordable in the canteen with various small stand out cafes. 4. You can also take a rickshaw or a yulu for roaming inside the campus as it is enormous.

It's one of the best engineering colleges in India and is located near IIT Delhi metro station, which is on magenta line. I visited the campus on Saturday as I had a seminar to attend. The campus is huge with great infrastructure. They have different departments inside the building and have small cafes for snacks and tea. Their central library is excellent, I could see students studying for their upcoming exams as well.

Well i myself being a doctor, love this fascinating stories and life in IIT. Have heard a lot of stories from my cousins, and i myself visited this place with my friends, campus is just bliss and ambience is awesome.

One of the best IIT in the country. IIT Delhi is on 2nd rank of all other IIT's. I visited here for som business purposes. Staff is so corporative. With lots of trees and park, if you ever get a chance to go there, you should definitely go.☺️☺️

Good afternoon😊 Friends👭👬 I visited IIT delhi today 7/2/23 . There is a magenta line metro🚇 running between Janakpuri to Botanical Garden🏡 . If you wants to come here then board at yellow🟡 line ( Samey pur badli to Huda city centre) and get down at Hauz khas than board magenta line gate no 4 from Hauz khas and get down at IIT delhi. IIT delhi was started in 1961 . It is one of the 23 IIT Institute of india.

Went here for project competition few years back. All the professors and staffs that we have associated with were friendly. Lab facilities and all other infrastructure facilities were superb. In a nutshell "a very beautiful and peaceful campus for the aspiring young talents of India"

I attended ALT DELHI hack here ... It was a great experience being in IIT.... The only thing I didn't like was that there were a lot of mosquitos in the lecture hall where we attended for the hackathon 🥲🥲

one of the top institutions in India but campus is quite small as compared to other top IITs and NITs as it is having just 400 acres campus but within this campus each and every facility is available.

IIT Delhi is a very good place for those who are curious and wants to explore outer world. You will get lots of opportunities in every way possible. In my opinion it's a very good place for students.
