The photos used for this place online and on hostelworld are clearly stolen from a hostel of actual good quality, the actual accommodation here is very unclean and dingy, with practically no amenities. This place is very small with no dorms as are promised online, and the staff do not have a reassuring vibe. Upon reading other positive reviews, I am sure they must be fake and payed for by this place, as I would bet that no one regardless of budget or preferences would like to stay here as a first choice. There are plenty of good hotels and hostels at cheap prices in the Paharganj area, but this is not one of them.

Was surprised because the location in a small and dark alley. But the service is really good, the staff is very helpful and room is clean and great. Location is near from the market, and it's good for shopping and street food, but it's a bit noisy at night because of music sound from the market.

Literally a scam. Made separate bookings with my friends as i was staying for less days. I got weird emails asking if i was okay and that they were worried about me and to contact them. My friend got no emails or confirmation of his booking. They insisted on picking me up from airport. Then while we approached very dodgy looking guy approached us, tried to lead us off to other property saying they have two. We went to main anyways, he proceeds to tell us that's not the worse property and dangerous at night. it probably is given its down a bendy alleyway. They insisted but we insisted to see the rooms anyways. Worst thing in my life. Four walls that just about fit a bed. We ask him to show our bookings and he is unable. He takes us to another place that is clearly not the same. And tries to show us rooms there. But the whole thing was too dodgy, he couldn't show us our bookings. Ended up just walking off

A few facts about this guesthouse: 1. I booked whilst still in Europe, and was charged 43€/night. If I'd have booked here on the day it would have cost me 13€/night for a private room with ensuite. 2. I reserved a room at Kuldeep Guest House but was taken to a place called "New King" which had a different address. When I addressed this I was told they were "associates" -but fact is, it wasn't what I had reviewed or agreed to. 3. It's in a pretty rough area and up a v dodgy looking alleyway, even if it is within walking distance of Connaught Place (approx 20min). I arrived in the middle of the night by myself which felt a bit risky. 4. The bathroom was a wet room, and whilst it appeared to have been superficially cleaned, there were a lot of stains around and in the porcelain and the shower taps were pretty tarnished. 5. The bathroom window was taped up with a sheet of newspaper, which had a rip in the middle. I couldn't work out whether this was for ventilation or to give anyone in the opposite building/on wall opposite a view of the bathroom. 6. The bed sheets were gray (probably because of the smog) and there was an uncovered blanket. Whilst i asked to a second sheet to sleep between, and received it without issue, this wasn't standard. 7. The transfer from the airport was very expensive compared to the price of ubers in the city (600rupee for the transfer compared to 400rupee for uber). The car was seloptaped together in a number of places and the driver launched us over speedbumps. 8. The lights from the corridor were on all night and illuminated the room, as one of the beds prevented the curtain being fully drawn. 9. At the bottom of the steps coming down from the bathroom there was an "outside" door footmap to wipe your wet feet, which was a bit grim when walking out the wetroom and wanting to get into bed. 10. The shower was hot 11. Staff were friendly until i wanted to discuss the extortionate price I'd been charged just for booking in Europe 12. It was a round bed, but I wasn't a round person!

The most disgusting place i've stayed at least in the last two years. The blankets didn't have any covers and were all full of spots of all the colors, including blood (I was feeling bad, so I couldn't go down all that stairs to request anything). Same with the bed sheet and pillowcases (that, surprisingly, existed). In the reception floor i've seen two cockroaches half-palm size. The location is just terrible, both mornings i was waking up to the sound of people vomiting down by windows and going to sleep (trying to) with the sound of people shouting at each other. And yes, it smells like urine everywhere. The workers are not helpful at all. And now when I tried to leave a review at hostelworld I see that they marked the trip as cancelled, not to get that many reviews there, I guess🤔

Rooms are normal, service is quite ok ok. Not so good. They do not have any lift so if you want to go 4th floor you need to use stairs. It's very tiring. Anyway ambiance is good for hostel. Food services are not available. There's pet named alisha. She's cute and friendly 😍 💕 overall it's a budget friendly hostel with a cute pup to play.

Youre better off somewhere else. The first room we booked was not very clean. Especially the bathroom was generally in need of a deep scrub and but when we arrived there were also visible marks that it was not cleaned properly since the person before us left (hair and dried urine spots). We were offered another room which wasnt very clean either (note that it might be the same rooms as in the picture, but just more run down, old and less clean). Then, we were offered a room on the first floor which was adequate. Nevertheless, go to some other place. The location doesnt justify not putting any effort into it.

It's an alright kinda place, staff are good here and the place is reasonably clean (compared to other hotels). It is centrally located but as a foreigner you might face challenges locating this little shack!!

The rooms were decent but in-charge was very adamant, the roads are quite narrow and to get a cab is quite a difficult task but it's well connected with the metro around it. Not a bad place to stay although.

Kuldeep friends hostel was the perfect stay for my friends and I. The front desk staff and management were very helpful and friendly. Our large group stayed in the dorms as well as the private room Both of which were in great condition and had all the amenities. The hostel is also located in a great spot since it’s close to most sightseeing/touristy things around the city.
