👍👍 Rode our bikes to the Wildlife Preserve and walked the trails. It was beautiful and well maintained. Wildlife along the marsh was great.

I really loved the south area. It is a long stretch of beach and marsh that was essentially empty when I visited (except for a guy and his dog). The freedom to explore and enjoy the sea breeze in solitude is unlike most Jersey shore experiences. Although I didn’t feel like staying long enough to see, it seems like the perfect place to watch the sunset over the water of the Delaware Bay.

Beautiful stretch of sand, forest and marsh land at the southern end of the Wildwoods. Beach access is restricted from April to October to protect endangered shore birds. The bird blind overlooking the marsh is a great place to spot egrets, terns, ospreys and many other birds.

After a one year hiatus, the Federal Government is allowing us limited access to the Nature Trails and to our Nature Store that helps support our activities. A beautiful and educational way to spend a Saturday or Sunday. Check out their Facebook pages for the Full Moon Walks at night to see a unique side of the TMBU!

Beautiful dunes preserve on Atlantic side, lovely wetlands on bay side. Never knew Jersey shore still had this protected, natural area. Small but breath-taking.

Peaceful and quiet. We couldn't go on the beach because of nesting birds but that's fine, they need their space, too don't they? A couple of paths for nature walks to explore and check things out. A little oasis of calm just minutes from the boisterous Wildwoods. If that's your thing.

Just simply the best beach in New jersey. Shells are different every week. And they aren't necessarily by the water. Good luck and have fun hunting. Be sure to put live ones back in the ocean!

It's just woods. You cant bring your dog. Even if leashed. N there are prickly things in the grass that would get stuck in their paws. It kind of looks like its abandon.

Two separate boardwalks for families to enjoy the environment which are also wheelchair accessible.

Awesome visit, very clean. Beautiful views! I was able to see dolphins and plenty of crabs, mussels, oysters, etc. Had fun showing my kids around with video chat.

Short out and back hike to a covered observation deck. Sighted one bald eagle. Black flies were present and hungry.

Never notice any TLC in the entry way and even the local officers who frequent for stopping grounds for speeders seem to be down trodden in the area. The gate could be upgraded to something decent enough for what it serves to protect. Additionally the up and down area for the paths entrance back into diamond beach is obviously unkept. It looks like it was high way mowed last time. No trash pickup at all just mowed over. You'd think with all the development from illegal or trade level labor there would be nice colorful additions as when it is in bloom there is a really nice park entrance for the developers who rack it in but it just gets used as a highway. Turned me off to exploring deeper for the most part.
