The service here is very inconsistent. One day the food is good and the next it is not. My boyfriend and I visited about a month ago and the coffees we ordered were horrible. The staff didn't seem like they knew what they were doing. We complained to the supervisor and she assured us that they would be changing staff. Fast forward to today, after visiting a few times on my own with friends the food was great. I convinced my boyfriend to get stuffed dumplings with me today because they were great when I had them. When ordering at 9:30 AM we were told that there was no "ackee and saltfish" but there was "ackee" and "calalloo and saltfish". Huh? Anyway, we ordered the ackee only and the calalloo and saltfish. Seven dumplings in total. They were horrible. The ackee dumplings we're just fried dumpling with a thin smear of ackee on the outside, no filling. The calalloo dumplings had no saltfish. Imagine our disappointment when we got home and discovered this. This was the second time convincing my boyfriend to go here because they are "so great" but twice they've let me down and neither of us will be back.

Great coffee but overall an underwhelming and inconsistent experience at the Devon House location. My pour over coffee no longer gets β€˜poured over’ at my table, servers are loud, chat/gossip incessantly, have loud running conversations with regular customers, and all else that makes the opportunity to enjoy your brew so elusive.

It was subpar in both service, quality of the food and the amount of food for the money. The space was clean however and I wonder how the workers manage working in such hot temperatures. The outdoor sitting area is a plus for them as no one could dine in the overheated space inside the Cafe. I bought a Hot Chocolate and a Jerk Chicken panini. It was a heck of a time explaining what I wanted even though I used the words written on the advertising board in the Cafe. Sigh

Island Coffees Cafe Waterfront Location. Its a small cafΓ© offering your basic coffee drinks and beverages. They also offer a variety of sweet treats for those wanting that. Sugar is optional in the drinks which is a nice healthy choice to have. They didn't have what I wanted on the menu (jerk wings nor chicken salad) so I took ham wraps instead with Everything is done to order. The taste was average. So were the smoothies/slush. They have chairs inside and outside to sit while you wait. Generally just, ok. Id go there to grab a quick coffee in the future.

Great selection of both coffee and non-coffee beverages. I particularly liked the pineapple slushy. Ideally located on the picturesque grounds of Devon House, perfect spot to cool off and enjoy a beverage, with great wifi connectivity.

Absolutely love this quaint cafe! The staff are pleasant and their menu offers a comparative range of local faves at an attractive price! Ask for their lunch special😊. This pour over specialist as even managed to induce a coffee preference in a strictly tea girl like myself

The turkey wrap was yumming and the pour over was very good. They are after all, pour-over specialists. Parking is abundant.

Worst Pizza i've ever eaten. Crust is badly burnt, full of too much cheese and extremely bitter. Worst way to spend my birthday.

White Mochaccino was great. Also, the single espresso shot gave a great boost to the morning.

The service is poor, the waiter has no sense of professionalism, keeps dancing to some vulgar reggse songs, giggling and romping with the security, sandwiches and the smoothes were great, but the young lady need to be taught that she needs to act proffessional as first impression last.

πŸ‘ Good food great service. We had the ackee wontons with a saltfish dip, chicken and waffles with shrimp, and the back danielle burger. My only wish is that their maple syrup for the waffles wasn't so thin. Same for the Johnny walker sauce on the burger. They make a great amaretto sour though. Mus...

πŸ‘ I really want to give a 4.5. It is a nice peaceful little nook in the crazy center of Kingston (Half-Way-Tree). The owner is extremely friendly and remembers you even after one visit. (The truth is I made an unusual request and she accepted the challenge). The second time I went, she asked, 'What in...

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Great flavours and service, I go there all the time and it's always a pleasure. I personally enjoy watching the process, there's just something about it. There's a pretty decent range of flavours to mix and match as well, they even have vegan options for those so inclined. A great experience overall...
